Our stay at Villa Santa Maria was incredible. The property was beautiful and everything was clean and well maintained. The are 2 adjacent units, one with 4 bedrooms and another with 3. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone. We had access to the full property with amazing accommodations. We made wood fired pizza on our last night!Our host, Franca, was very accommodating and easily reachable in case we had a question or needed something. We spent a lot of time in the pool (which was amazing) and there were plenty of towels. Everyone in our party enjoyed their stay and we can't wait to come back!If you love ceramics (especially from Deruta), Franca has a wonderful collection of plates, mugs, bowls, etc.Also be sure to check out the sunset from the balcony!

What can I say. The prior reviews for this location were spot on. Franca was an absolute pleasure. Hospitable more like a family member or friend than your typical host. She prepared two wonderful meals for our family, made the check in process seamless, provided us with local tips on where to go and consistently checked in to make sure our trip was going well. The home itself was spectacular. Quintessential Italian home with breathtaking views. Stunning. Easily accessible but very private as well. The kids loved the pool and the adults loved sitting back and taking in the scene. Truly a wonderful experience and we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you again Franca!

We enjoyed our week vacation with friends at this beautiful villa. The location was perfect for our day trips to several of the surrounding towns. We had several meals outside on the large patio with expansive views of the Umbrian countryside. The two houses provided lots of room and privacy for all of the couples. Franca served us two amazing home cooked dinners. We wish we could have had her cook more of our meals. I would highly recommend this wonderful Villa for a vacation with friends and family.

Nine members of my family were lucky enough to rent this fabulous villa for a week, and we could not have been happier with the layout, the beauty of the grounds, the wonderful view, the huge pool, the multiple kitchens, the fact that every room had an en suite bathroom, and the generous hospitality and responsiveness of magnificent host Franca (and her darling dog Cesare). Franca also runs one of the larger ceramics factories in Deruta and seems to know everyone in town. We locked ourselves out late one night and she drove over to let us in. She cooked us a delicious dinner on our final night there. The villa had everything we needed, from kitchenware to towels to coffee to plenty of photo opportunities. We loved the whole experience and would definitely book again!

Le due case hanno sovrabbondanza di servizi. Sono al centro di una vasta proprietà in cima ad una collina con quasi 360 gradi di panorama. Potrebbero ospitare comodamente più di 14 persone. Avevamo un cane e il problema è stato solo gestirlo nello spazio enorme a disposizione. Con grande fiducia ci è stato concesso di spostare utensili ecc. tra le varie cucine, anche se ne abbiamo usata solo una. La struttura è perfetta per riunioni familiari e grandi gruppi. Immagino ancor più durante la stagione calda, quando la piscina è aperta.
