This was a last minute booking for me, however the staff was super friendly and accomplished. Created with with coco tea and showed me to my room. Place was fairly clean and a decent one night stay. Close proximity to the center, also has a patio at the top where you can see a beautiful Cusco landscape

My only complaint is that I wished for the breakfast to be better like more options but I understant that will drive the price up. Other wise the place is great. A big plus they have is electric heaters in each room. We came from NY and I belived I was prepare for the cold night in the the winter months, but once you are in Cusco belive me you will want to have the heater next to you.

it is very basic hotel with minimum space and for competitive price. Room has just enough space for the bed/s nothing else is there, you have barely any space for walking. Room has a portable heater. Bathroom does have hot water but no other things are provided like shampoo, body wash etc. bathrooms drainage is not good, the water goes out very slow. And it has a smell. The hotel over all is clean. Breakfast is same exact thing everyday, we stayed for 5 days. One day we need to leave little early so we asked for some breakfast and The lady(Francisco) agreed to pack boxed breakfast for us. we told/texted clearly to her no meat, no ham, and she still gave us sandwiches with ham and cheese that we couldn’t use. Next door is some sort of club and 2/3 nights very loud music was being played late night until 11:30pm. Outside hotel is single lane one way narrow road which could be inconvenient to go in and out. If you are looking for a budget hotel and above things don’t bother you then go for it.

It was a good stay, we was able to sleep well. For sustainability recommended to have soap in a dispenser instead of bar of soap. It is an American Breakfast do not expect to much :) But was enough to satify the hunger in the morning. You can get Coca Tea free. Up the Room on 3rd Floor you have a view to the City. Staff was always friendly and is available 24h. Storage of luggage was not a problem. You can walk up to some restaurants, on the same level or down to the centro historico - There are many choices.

O quarto superior que fica no ultimo andar tem uma vista incrivel da cidade historica e é muito amplo. Para quem busca uma ótima localização ele é ideal pois esta muito perto da plaza de armas. Tivemos alguns problemas que foram prontamente resolvidos pela senhora Francisca que nos atendeu muito bem e foi muito atenciosa.

Es muy buena la ubicación, tranquilo, segura, excelente servicio del personal pero me parece muy caro en comparación a otros hoteles de la zona que ofrecen lo mismo o mejores condiciones y el baño tenía moho en las paredes.

Rumnen är små, rena och väldisponerad. Frukosten är enkelt, färsk och tillräcklig. Promenad avstånd till Plaza de Armas, San Blas och övriga sevärdheter. Edgar och Patricia sköter hotellet ze ör verkligen måna om sina gäster. Berättar dina Peru planer för dem och dy kommer att få tips, råd och hjälp för att din Peru resa blir munnesvärd

Ficamos 5 dias no quarto standard simples, que fica no primeiro andar e com a porta de frente para o café da manhã e um corredor para os quartos acima, o que pode ser visto nas fotos do hotel. Como o quarto dá para es Quarto estava limpo e roupas de cama também, entretanto, só trocavam as toalhas se eu pedisse e o mesmo valia com o serviço de quarto básico.
Ficamos 5 dias no quarto standard simples, que fica no primeiro andar e com a porta de frente para o café da manhã e um corredor para os quartos acima, o que pode ser visto nas fotos do hotel. Not too far and not too close from Plaza de Armas. Short walk to the center of Cusco and quiet enough to rest at night from a long day. Clean and water always hot, no problem with that. Bed were comfortable and heater works well on cold nights. Would stay again.

The location of this mom and pop hotel is fantastic, very close to Plaza de Armas. The staff is very helpful and attentive and will make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious. It was very easy to book a trip to Machu Picchu through the hotel and it went off without a hitch. The view from our room was amazing (see photo)

Estuvimos en total 3 noches en este alojamiento en Cusco. En general es un alojamiento optimo para estar en Cusco cerca del centro (Plaza de Armas) y con un servicio correcto y un espacio limpio y ordenado. El desayuno es un poco justo (no esperes gran cosa), pero es un alojamiento correcto pues nosotros solo íbamos a dormir. La dueña y los empleados son amables y nos guardaron las maletas los días que fuimos a Machu Picchu. Lástima que la ultima noche nos dieron una habitación con camas individuales y no de matrimonio, ya que somos un matrimonio, pero solo fue una noche. Las habitaciones no son muy grandes pero suficientes, al menos para nosotros que no somos muy exigentes con estas cosas siempre y cuando sea un sitio limpio....y lo es. Si tenéis problemas de movilidad reducida mejor que os den habitación en las plantas más bajas. Como en la mayoría de alojamientos de este tipo en Lima, les haría falta que te dieran champú (solo te dan pastillas de jabón) y que las cortinas impidieran el paso de la luz solar pues entra mucha luz por la mañana. Son aspectos a mejorar.

Casa Mayte is a beautiful quaint hotel in the heart of Cusco! The staff is wonderful and the hotel itself is gorgeous, the only but we have is that there’s no noise cancellations in the room! You can hear everything outside your room 😅

The hotel staff are great and the hotel has a lot of character, but staying in the triple room, which is located on the front of the building, made sleeping challenging. The hotel is located on a narrow cobblestone road - part of its charm - but there is a surprising amount of traffic running down that road 24/7 including the incessant honking no matter the time of day or night. So the road traffic and extremely squeaky wood floors (both in our room and neighboring rooms) made it challenging for us to sleep even with white noise on full blast. To be fair, adjusting to the altitude probably contributed to the sleeplessness but that's kinda the point - if the altitude adjustment is going to make sleeping more difficult to start with, having a quiet room without distractions would have been nice. It took us to the 4th (and final) night there to finally sleep pretty well.

Achei bom, o quarto é grande e o chuveiro é quente. A equipe e o atendimento são ótimos! Mas a cama é os lençóis são um pouco velhos velhos e o café da manhã nem cheguei a ver. Peça para ficar nos quartos de cima porque os debaixo da para ouvir tudo lá fora.
Achei bom, o quarto é grande e o chuveiro é quente. A equipe e o atendimento são ótimos! Mas a cama é os lençóis são um pouco velhos velhos e o café da manhã nem cheguei a ver. Peça para ficar nos quartos de cima porque os debaixo da para ouvir tudo lá fora.

O quarto superior que fica no ultimo andar tem uma vista incrivel da cidade historica e é muito amplo. Para quem busca uma ótima localização ele é ideal pois esta muito perto da plaza de armas. Tivemos alguns problemas que foram prontamente resolvidos pela senhora Francisca que nos atendeu muito bem e foi muito atenciosa.

Great location and very nice balcony. Very basic hostel with wool blankets. Rooms are not soundbarried. You can here everything from outside. But staff is kind and helpful and comparing price the hotel gives you necessarities.

Estuvimos en total 3 noches en este alojamiento en Cusco. En general es un alojamiento optimo para estar en Cusco cerca del centro (Plaza de Armas) y con un servicio correcto y un espacio limpio y ordenado. El desayuno es un poco justo (no esperes gran cosa), pero es un alojamiento correcto pues nosotros solo íbamos a dormir. La dueña y los empleados son amables y nos guardaron las maletas los días que fuimos a Machu Picchu. Lástima que la ultima noche nos dieron una habitación con camas individuales y no de matrimonio, ya que somos un matrimonio, pero solo fue una noche. Las habitaciones no son muy grandes pero suficientes, al menos para nosotros que no somos muy exigentes con estas cosas siempre y cuando sea un sitio limpio....y lo es. Si tenéis problemas de movilidad reducida mejor que os den habitación en las plantas más bajas. Como en la mayoría de alojamientos de este tipo en Lima, les haría falta que te dieran champú (solo te dan pastillas de jabón) y que las cortinas impidieran el paso de la luz solar pues entra mucha luz por la mañana. Son aspectos a mejorar.

Francis the manager of the property was very nice and helpful in every way possible, she managed to booked my tours and I am so glad I did with her because I heard from other tourists that booked with other people how disappointed they were. That was definitely not my case, from transportation to food, Francis was the best to help. I saw her kindness with all her guests. I highly recommend her hotel. Thanks so much for everything Francis!!!!!!🙏 muchas gracias por todo. Usted siempre fue muy atenta en todo, yo definitivamente recomiendo el hotel casa de Mayte como el mejor lugar de Cusco!!!! Umiddelbart hedder Casa Mayte også Hostal, og inden for det er niveauet fint. Det er et hyggeligt sted, men værelserne er meget små, døren til badet kan ikke åbnes helt, og morgenmaden er meget basic. Vi synes at prisen ikke helt matcher niveauet. Hotellet har dog en skøn udsigt og god belligenhed, og så er personalet hjælpsomme. Fx fik vi mulighed for at tjekke ind tidligt hvilket var rigtig dejligt.
Umiddelbart hedder Casa Mayte også Hostal, og inden for det er niveauet fint. Great service, Francis went above and beyond helping me booking my tours to assure I enjoyed my stay. She was very kind and friendly with all her guest. I highly recommended this place to choose for a place to stay during your vacation in cuscu. Yo recomiendo casa Mayte por que la sra Francis fue muy amable y profesional a la hora de ayudarme con mis tour. La compañía siempre me recogió y dejo en la hora estipulada y en el lugar acordado. This is a great hotel! Not only does it have a nice location in Cusco, the staff is also great and goes out of their way to help their guests. We got to store our luggage at the hotel when we went to Machu Picchu and they helped us with transportation to and from the airport, as well as giving us detailed information about the city. Can't recommend this place more.

Location was convenient but front desk was very unfriendly, the older woman specifically. Young man who worker overnight was nice. Lock on doors suck and property needs an upgrade. Struggled with luggage checking in and checking out and no help was offered even with male and female staff around. Would not stay there again.

They sent my senior citizen mom and aunt to a 4th floor room. When I booked it, it didn’t mention facility being a 4th level home nor I was booking up there. No customer service or empathy.. never again

it is very basic hotel with minimum space and for competitive price. Room has just enough space for the bed/s nothing else is there, you have barely any space for walking. Room has a portable heater. Bathroom does have hot water but no other things are provided like shampoo, body wash etc. bathrooms drainage is not good, the water goes out very slow. And it has a smell. The hotel over all is clean. Breakfast is same exact thing everyday, we stayed for 5 days. One day we need to leave little early so we asked for some breakfast and The lady(Francisco) agreed to pack boxed breakfast for us. we told/texted clearly to her no meat, no ham, and she still gave us sandwiches with ham and cheese that we couldn’t use. Next door is some sort of club and 2/3 nights very loud music was being played late night until 11:30pm. Outside hotel is single lane one way narrow road which could be inconvenient to go in and out. If you are looking for a budget hotel and above things don’t bother you then go for it.

La habitación fue muy pequeña. La calle donde se ubica este hotel es muy estrecha y casi imposible caminar debido a que pasan los carros y no existe como si la banqueta para peatones. En general el servicio del hotel no corresponde al precio elevado que se paga.

The location of this mom and pop hotel is fantastic, very close to Plaza de Armas. The staff is very helpful and attentive and will make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious. It was very easy to book a trip to Machu Picchu through the hotel and it went off without a hitch. The view from our room was amazing (see photo)

Rumnen är små, rena och väldisponerad. Frukosten är enkelt, färsk och tillräcklig. Promenad avstånd till Plaza de Armas, San Blas och övriga sevärdheter. Edgar och Patricia sköter hotellet ze ör verkligen måna om sina gäster. Berättar dina Peru planer för dem och dy kommer att få tips, råd och hjälp för att din Peru resa blir munnesvärd

Hotel excelente e bem localizado. Muito perto da plaza de armas, com uma vista espetacular (ficamos no último andar). Os funcionários são acolhedores, o café da manhã é excelente, pretendemos voltar em Cusco e certamente escolheremos o mesmo hotel.

It was a good stay, we was able to sleep well. For sustainability recommended to have soap in a dispenser instead of bar of soap. It is an American Breakfast do not expect to much :) But was enough to satify the hunger in the morning. You can get Coca Tea free. Up the Room on 3rd Floor you have a view to the City. Staff was always friendly and is available 24h. Storage of luggage was not a problem. You can walk up to some restaurants, on the same level or down to the centro historico - There are many choices.

This hotel is in the historical center of Cusco, it is very convenient to walk to the famous attractions, the staff of the hotel is very warm and friendly, willing to provide thoughtful service and assistance to the residents, we were in a hurry to catch the early bus to Machu Picchu, Francisca specially prepared breakfast for us to eat on the way, here, a special thank you to Francisca, a trustworthy lady.

Estuvimos en total 3 noches en este alojamiento en Cusco. En general es un alojamiento optimo para estar en Cusco cerca del centro (Plaza de Armas) y con un servicio correcto y un espacio limpio y ordenado. El desayuno es un poco justo (no esperes gran cosa), pero es un alojamiento correcto pues nosotros solo íbamos a dormir. La dueña y los empleados son amables y nos guardaron las maletas los días que fuimos a Machu Picchu. Lástima que la ultima noche nos dieron una habitación con camas individuales y no de matrimonio, ya que somos un matrimonio, pero solo fue una noche. Las habitaciones no son muy grandes pero suficientes, al menos para nosotros que no somos muy exigentes con estas cosas siempre y cuando sea un sitio limpio....y lo es.
