The elevator was broken and all the rooms were above the first floor. Staff helped carry the suitcases, however, it was still a huge inconvenience especially given we had elderly travelers in our group. Otherwise, the property was excellent. The "light supper" turned out to be a rather sizable buffet with lots of options. Rooms were clean and spacious for European standards.

There is no coffee in the room but the food is good. Parking is not onsite but only a few blocks away. You can pull up to check in and check out.

Location is great, take the airport bus to Scandik hotel and walk 100 meters. Sauna was great, but the steam room was out of service.

Very nice service, breakfast so so, supper very good. Location perfect. Old hotel, clean but elevator is broken with no date of repair before November. Stairs are narrow and not up to code. Personel very helpful. Great view right on the pier. Easy walk to everything, restaurant and shop

Personeel is heel aardig. Je wordt goed verzorgd. Sauna is te klein voor de vraag. Fitness is niet echt een fitness.

Nice hotel, similar to a Holiday Inn. Nice staff, but the elevator was broken the entire stay. Walking up stairs with luggage was difficult if you have luggage. We were going on a cruise. Please be aware. Maybe contact hotel before booking.

Hotel in bester Lage! Zentrumsnah. Allerdings fehlt ein Parkplatz vor dem Hotel. Jedoch bezahlbare Parkplätze in der Nähe.

Hotel in great location and good sized room. Small gym and sauna on site. The restaurant wasn't open during our stay however we were provided with breakfast and dinner at the Clarion Hotel directly opposite so wasn't a big inconvenience.

Gulvtæppet var ikke rent men ellers var det et fint værelse med god plads. Utrolig hyggelig hotel med en god placering. En glædelig overraskelse at der var fika og aftensmad.

Room was not cleaned during our four night stay, but we had clean towels when we needed them, so wasnt a problem for us. The breakfast and evening meal was a nice touch and there was coffee and tea whenever we wanted. Great location. Would book again.

El servicio de limpieza no es diaria como se establece aquí, ni la 3era noche tuvimos el servicio (no se recibió el servicio de limpieza en las 5 noches aunque lo haya solicitado en diferentes ocasiones) Al solicitar considerar un descuento por falta de cumplimiento del servicio pagado solo mencionaron que podían regalarnos shampoo o jabón, los cuales incluso no había en el dispensador de la habitación al llegar. El desayuno es siempre el mismo y básico (ensalada, huevo, salchicha, pan, mantequilla, cereal, yogurth, leche, jugo, cafe y té) la cena no vale la pena (ensalada, pure, pan, agua, café, té, pan y sopa) a veces ni se desquita por los tours por lo que no es un gran plus, incluso cenábamos en otros lugares Lo único respetable es la vista (si te toca una buena habitación) y la ubicación (ambos los puedes adquirir en otras opciones de alojamiento) hay otras buenas opciones de alojamiento en la misma ubicación La atención del personal muy básico e incluso una de ellas fue arrogante “haré lo que este en mis manos ya que tendría que partirme para recoger tu basura y atender recepción” como si fuera mi falta cuado claramente es por su mala coordinación o falta de personal. Adicionalmente en una ocasión abrieron la puerta de la habitación sin tocar con anticipación La limpieza en general deja mucho que desear. En definitiva recomendaría otra opción, no volvería a elegirlo, las opiniones de otros huéspedes con respecto a la falta de limpieza y poca atención es real.

Hotel situato in ottima posizione, davanti al porto, silenzioso, vista stupenda. Colazione e cena abbondanti e varie. L'unica pecca la pulizia della camera, svuotano il cestino ogni due giorni e credo non abbiano mai aspirato la moquette. Anche gli asciugamani vanno cambiati ogni 2 giorni però di quello non mi lamento perché cambiarli ogni giorno mi sembra esagerato. Tornando a Tromsø prenoterei nuovamente lì.

Sentral beliggenhet. God frokost og god aftensmat. Jeg hadde bestilt et rom med utsikt og utsikten var fantastisk! Hele hotellet er noe "slitt". Rommene vaskes kun annen hver dag og matrester og annen søppel blir stående i gangene. Vinglassene var fulle av tydelige og seige fingeravtrykk.

Et fint hotel men ingen rengøring selvom vi boede 6 overnatninger og fandt selv nye håndklæder på stativ i gangene

We arrived to hotel hour after check in and needed to wait 30min to have room ready. Room have been cleaned in poorly, found previous customers medication on the floor and black hair all over the place. Hotel is nicely located and breakfast is good. Bonus from afternoon coffee and cake and also complimentary dinner which was okay.

Our stay was lovely, the service is great, the staff are nice, the free fika and dinner were a great addition and the free coffee and tea all day long were good. Great location, very walkable. The only thing I would change is cleaning the rooms, it's okay not to clean every day, but once in two days maybe would be nice. Four nights without cleaning or even taking out the trash was a little too much. Overall we had a great time and defiently will be back if we come to Tromso again. Highly recommended!

A lovely hotel in a perfect location. Really well run and super friendly. We went for the sea view option which gave us a fabulous view. Would definitely book again when we next come to Tromso.

The hotel was perfect - the location is amazing. As they say property is all about location, location, location. Home Hotel With is right in the centre of town, with the bus terminal, boat terminal and main street all within 150 metres. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was compact (as booked) but was perfect. Tromso is an expensive city so having both breakfast and dinner included was ideal. The food was good with a good choice of dishes. Where would I stay if I ever go back to Tromso (and I hope to, to see the midnight sun)? Home Hotel With for me is the only show in town.

I was unfortunately given room 201 which was directly above the restaurant area and next to the stairwell. This meant that every night was disturbed by the staff moving /dragging the furniture around on the wooden floor and guests going up and down the stairwell. I raised my concerns with the reception and was made to feel foolish and was told that I should have called the front desk. When I tried this option on subsequent nights no one answered to help me. It’s a shame, as the hotel is quite nice and comfortable, but I had such poor sleep here that I would very much recommend refusing room 201 (and probably 202 as well) if you decide to risk staying here. I am sure the hotel will reply that I could have done xyz but having expressed my concerns in person and was met with indifference there seemed little left to do but accept my stay would not be an enjoyable one.

Hotel near to the city center and the view is perfect. Easy to access. Also the food and drink provide are excellent. Not sure if it is only happens on the room 301.The wifi signal is weak and sometimes even it linked to the WiFi but can't connect to the internet.

The room is small but cozy and clean. The bathroom is very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, in my opinion, and dinner, which was also included in my rate, was also good. Everything is made easy because it's self-service: check-in, check-out, taxi booking, etc. It is very well located.

Location, location, location. It could not be any better. Absolutely pay for a harbour view - that is what makes this hotel... Good breakfast - lots of choice. Loved the cake and coffee in the afternoon. We never had the evening meal so can't comment on that. Downsides - absolutely no storage in the rooms. We had a superior seaview - the cases were just on the floor and we had to step round them - you simply can't unpack anything. There is one rail with c 4 coat hangers and that is it.

We stayed in a Superior room which had a great view over the harbour. The bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water and a good shower. The only negative was the carpet, which was a little worn but to be honest with the view it really didn't matter! The booking included breakfast and a light dinner. Breakfast was a buffet with with hot and cold options and plentiful. Dinner was more limited but there was still plenty to eat. If you want a vegetarian dish then book at reception and the cook will prepare one for you. The hotel was in a perfect location for the city and tours. Highly recommend this hotel if you're planning a visit to Tromsø.

Actually a very cozy hotell, but it is in desperate need of an renovation. You can see the wear and tear everywhere, from the wall to wall rug to the moist(?) spots in the ceiling. The bathroom was so insanely tiny that the door to the shower couldnt be fully opened, you had to carefully queeze yourself in. Parts of the breakfast tasted old. I understand minimizing foodwaste, but come on. I felt a little unwell afterwards The only plus with this hotell was the staff, the wifi and the location. But it was sadly not enough to justify the price they are asking. It was supposed to be a longer stay, but i gave up after a few days, and move to a different hotell.

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel was warm and clean and felt very homely.

Fabulous situation right on the harbour front with room directly looking out across to the Arctic Cathedral. Very comfortable bed, big shower, a little dated decor, but more than made up for by the warmth and friendliness of the staff, all of whom were wonderful!

The hotel is in a great location. I was going on a number of organised tours and the hotel was no more than 5 minutes walk from the pickup point for all of these. This enabled me to fit in the maximum activities during the time I was there. The staff were really friendly from the minute I arrived to the minute I left. I let them know in advance that I would be arriving late and they asked whether I would like them to prepare a cold plate because I would miss dinner. This was great, mixed meats and cheese plus some salad items and bread. Coffee is always available. The room was fairly small but as a solo traveller there was plenty of room for me and it had everything I needed. The fact that breakfast and dinner was included was a bonus as again it helped me maximise the time I was there as I didn’t have to find restaurants to eat in when that’s the part of solo travelling I don’t enjoy. I loved Tromso and would book to stay at this hotel on any return trip without hesitation.

Fantastisk hotel med bedste personale, i sær dem som arbejdede i køkkenet og "restauranten" de var top service mindede og super søde. Positiv overraskelse at der var mad hver dag, samt dejlig kage og kaffe til eftermiddag :-)

Great location with bus stops nearby

Great central location & rooms with view of the water. Great staff - all were helpful & efficient. The food was ok with the welcome afternoon tea & cake, particularly as many aurora tours started at 6pm, before the start of dinner service. Overall we would definitely recommend it. It is showing a little wear and tear in places, but not to the detriment of the overall feeling of the hotel. One little annoyance was the very limited space for putting away clothes; there was only hangers, a small (high) shelf above the hangers and one small drawer in the desk.

Das Hotel liegt wunderbar direkt am Hafen, vom Speisesaal aus kann man sogar die Eismeerkathedrale. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich zudem die Haltestelle vom Flughafenbus. Die inkludirten Mahlzeiten war toll fürs Budget. Für mein Empfinden war das Zimmer nicht warm genug. Ein oder zwei Steckdosen mehr wären sehr von Vorteil. Es wäre schön, wenn beide Damen an der Rezeption freundlich wären und umfassenden informieren würden und nicht nur eine.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage! Geschäfte, Restaurants, Bars alles fußläufig erreichbar. Einige Bushaltestellen, auch der Express-Bus vom Flughafen, sind nah am Hotel gelegen. Auch angebotene Bootstouren liegen direkt gegenüber des Hotels.

Die Lage des Hotels ist einmalig. Aufgrund der zentralen Lage ist vieles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr nett und das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen!

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is very close to the airport bus drop-off and an easy walk to the town center. Breakfast, afternoon cake/coffee/tea and light dinner were quite good and helped offsetting the cost of our trip to Tromso. Will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends and families.

Great location. Little sound proofing - we could hear people above us throughout the night. Good breakfast but dreadful food in the evening.

Excellent location and so good having free tea and coffee all day, overlooking the harbour. Enjoyed the sauna too and booked the rooftop jacuzzi at the sister hotel for a small fee. (£4). Breakfasts were delicious and really set us up for the day. Enjoyed the fika cake on days we were around. I’d considered the evening meal as a bonus - if we were around and liked it it would save us ££ from going out. As it happened we ate there 4 times. I’m a veggie and it was limited but ok. There were always 4 salads, usually one with lentils, beans or quinoa which made it more of a meal, a leafy salad, a pasta salad (not always veggie) and a slaw of some description. Usually a veggie friendly soup, focaccia bread. The mains were things like pasta bolognese or pork and mash with veg, so not any good for me but where there were separate elements I had some. Eg plain pasta which I added roasted veg too and some cream cheese. I also had seeded crisp breads and cream cheese and/or houmous. This fitted us as we had excursions or other plans so a quick ish meal and for free meant we spent the money on other things. Comfortable room, hot showers, friendly staff. Would recommend and would love to go back.

Good location, nice room but the dinner was almost always the same for 3 days.
