Initial room was awful - mildew in shower, upholstery on chair was filthy, individual bottles for shower were half filled. Front desk moved us to new room which was a bit better. Overall - not impressed. This hotel’s rooms need to be refreshed.

Hotels, great overall first night someone was working out after midnight in the gym which is on the top floor so you could hear it on the fifth floor if you were in the room under the gym air-conditioning problems the first night but a great engineering employee named Wilson came in and fixed it and even brought us a box fan Only offers Valet parking which was $40 a night and we never moved car after check in.

I've stayed there a few times in the past Great location. The hotel has gone down hill in regards to staffing. Nice people but not Knowledgable regarding the hotel. Elevator didn't work the last 2 days I was the there so we had to do the stairs 3 or 4 flights with luggage. Gentleman behind the desk helped but it was honestly not cool. Food was average the staff working the bar and restaurant were all new and got the orders wrong. Hallways smelled of something.... almost to the point where I was going ask the front desk to do a wellness check on rooms in that area. Yeah it was that bad. I'll never do it again and I suggest you don't either.

It is a very nice hotel with a great location. It is valet parking only but the valet is really nice. Whenever you need your car, you go to the front desk if the valet isn't present, and they will call the valet for you. The front desk people are really nice too. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Great location to old town and to transportation into Washington. Service and room were top notch. Pick up the free tram to downtown was a bonus. Super clean, a very nice hotel. However, parking price was a bit much. Our safe malfunction one evening and could not be opened. My wife's meds were in there and after a full day of siteseeing, she had a bit of an unconforable night.

Housekeeping came in on day 2 which does not happen at other properties. We appreciated the room refresh. Hotel had a number of competing, weird odors. Man who checked us in was pretty bland and seemed distracted.

I would not stay here again. I had stains on my sheets which looked to be either makeup or blood and after alerting the front office it wasn't taken care of for multiple hours. Tiny flying bugs like gnats and fruit flies in bathroom/around kitchenette area. Entire lobby area was FILLED with flys and gnats, from the bar, to the tables, and even into the back of the lobby just in the chairs. There was no good place to hangout unless you wanted to put up with that. The trashcans in the lobby when you would toss trash into them would have dozens of flies fly out - it was disgusting.

This is an older hotel, and clean for the most part. I love that there was a refrigerator in the room (a lot of newer hotels don’t include them anymore). The property amenities were clean. The staff were very courteous and attentive. The property is in walking distance to the train, restaurants, and stores which was very nice. Our shower had mildew/scum build up around the drain, and tiles. While my stay did not exceed my expectations, I was very pleased overall.

My room did not have any AC. They refused to change my room. They were willing to cancel it and leave me to book another room somewhere else at 6:30 at night. It was perfect. Yes. That’s sarcasm. It’s not possible to be less helpful.

We checked in only to find when we got in the room that there was no air-conditioning. We called the front desk and they sent up a technician who had brought us a fan and said they had been having trouble with it and what a fan suffice. One fan and 100° weather was not gonna work we said are there any other options at first they were not very helpful and then they finally offered a room on the top floor that we could move to. a lot of anxiety not a great experience. We thought our entire weekend was gonna be ruining because of it. Finally, the manager did do the right thing by letting us move up to a more expensive room, only finally to tell us that we would not be charged at all for our stay because of the inconvenience that we were put through, however, it took several hours for us to get to that point and we were in limbo and a lot of time. We had to change our personal plans that we had counted on. We had to miss out on because of the inconvenience and spent time looking for other options at last minute

First the great: Aziz and LaTonya were very friendly, very helpful and went above and beyond to help make our stay the best possible. The Hotel is in a great location, street is pretty quiet, but close enough to walk to a lot if you choose. The hotel and rooms were clean. Now the not as good: Definitely do not stay on the 5th floor. We ended up just below the gym and people working out, bouncing medicine balls, dropping weight etc woke us up at 6am - not a good start to the vacation. Thankfully, we were moved down to a room on the 3rd floor which was much better. The other items that were less than perfect for me were 1) the beds and 2) the climate control of the room. I was surprised at how uncomfortable I found the bed since we just recently stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn in Brooklyn and those beds were wonderful. This may be a personal thing though. The climate control in the room was difficult to master. It is the type of thermostat that needs specific instructions. We woke up sweltering and then freezing. Although it's is a good spot, we had a tough time with actual sleep, personally. Again, this may just be us.

This hotel is great, we always get great service. It is in a great area, close to the metro and a trolley ride down to all that King Street has to offer. The only thing we would change is that we wish the mattresses were a little softer.

Great location for what we wanted for our short stay. This was our second time here. What we were disappointed in this time was the poor water pressure in the shower, the tv kept blacking out every 30 seconds or so, some of the pillows are worn out.

Room was just fine. The TV didn't work and even after the tech came and reset it, the remote had a weird delay and an odd interface. Parking was outrageously priced.. $37. Luckily it was a Sunday and we could park nearby on the street and hustle out early Monday a.m. to pay for public parking. Considered breakfast but $13 for French Toast??

The hotel itself is fine. The room was clean, up to date, and had the usual hotel amenities. That’s the best that I can say though. The mattress was rock hard, the pillows were flat feather pillows, the bedding itself was thin and not very warm. The cable selections were not good and there was no on demand feature, and the guide didn’t work so you basically had to channel surf - the selection of channels wasn’t good either. The WiFi was also not good - and cell reception was lacking (I have T-Mobile and a 5G iPhone). Had I been traveling for business I would have had issues doing my job. Overall I would not stay here again.

I wouldn’t book there again. We barely got help from the staff. When we arrived the parking lot was full and the hospital and they just literally said try to find street parking. They were dismissive and blamed it on an event taking place. When we asked for someone to help with luggage, they were also dismissive and said no one was available to help. We had facial hair or body hair in one of the beds in The room. One of us either developed a rash or was bitten by something while sleeping. When I called the Hilton office in the morning, they informed to expect a call to resolve the issue. No one reached out. Honestly since we were just gonna sleep for one more night I didn’t follow through but it was very disappointing. I offered to move to any other Hilton hotel and pay the difference for the night but they transferred me between people and said someone will reach back and never did. I’ve stayed with Hilton in Florida and other places never had such an experience.

Paid for the king size with city view, didn't get it. The hotel made a mistake when checking in, double charged me. Someone had a key to my room and tried to get in at 11:30pm. Then the next day when returning in the evening said we couldn't get into our room due to an issue. Took 30 minutes of waiting to get back into our room with our items. Whoever checked me in had no idea what they were doing, ultimately leading to a safety issue of some random other person being given a key to my room. Valet is mandatory and an additional $40/day. Lame. Pillows sucked, bed was uncomfortable. I would NOT recommend staying here and I don't plan on returning to this hotel after these experiences.

Our stay was great. The property is in a good location and it was clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly. My two complaints were the $43/night price tag for parking and $18 pp for breakfast. We didn't utilize either of these services but would have if thy were more reasonable.

Clean hotel in downtown Alexandria area. Convenient walk to metro station for D.C. If you want to park your car it will cost you almost 40 a night….you can park your car a block away for $18 a night. Breakfast not complimentary. Two free wagers for Hilton Honors members in room. Tv welcomes you with your name across the screen. Basically just used the place for sleep. Great place to stay when visiting DC
