Website did not indicate that both the pool and jacuzzi were broken (the main reason I booked the place). 1st room's a/c didnt go below 68. They stopped offering complimentary newspapers (another reason I booked the place).

Cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, so that's great. The floors in the hallways have weird random dips and uneven spots. Walkable distance from a grocery store (right next door). Heater for the pool and spa was out so the water was chilly but not too bad. Staff were super nice and accommodating. 8 out of 10 would recommend.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Had a quiet and comfortable room. Pool/Hot tub pretty good. Breakfast had several options available, but the cheese omelet was below average. Not much else to complain about. Would stay here again in the future.

The pool and hot tub water were brown. I provided picures. We were told oh we had a large group. It smelled like sewage. They then closed the pool to clean which was our whole stay. Then at 3 am our smoke alarm went off. They had no explanation. Deal with it. When we asked for towels or any help we were litterly told we will see. When i contacred Staybridge they said it wasnt their problem due to being booked thru a 3rd party app. They offered me points on a card i dont even have.

The room was very nice but not very clean. There was something that looked like poop on the bottom of the toilet by the bolt and floor then there was something gross of the top blanket of the bed

Not a very clean hotel. I really like the Staybridge as a general rule but this one had cigarettes sitting on the front desk at check in, hairs all over the bathroom upon arrival. Generally not clean. Carpet frayed, trim water damaged in bathroom.

First the good: the breakfast area was beautiful and the food itself was presented nicely with a lot of options. The room was nice, and having a separate bedroom with kids was wonderful. The bad: the hallway on the second floor smelled like an incontinent resident’s nursing home room. Luckily it didn’t waft into our room. The carpet had fine dog hair all over, suggesting pets were in there (and it wasn’t vacuumed.) Pool was nice, but we had to call the desk to get towels replenished.

Of the 3 Staybridge Hotels my family and I stayed in over the course of our family vacation, this Rochester location was absolutely the worst overall. We arrived around 9pm after traveling all day. The room itself wasn’t very clean when we got in, with most surfaces feeling gritty and sticky. We didn’t have any extra bedding for the pull out couch, and no one answered the front desk phone when we called down. We made do for the night and then noticed more issues in the morning, namely that the shower was broken, the towels had holes in them, and the remote/alarm clocks were missing the battery covers. I went to the front desk just to let them know and to ensure we wouldn’t be charged for these items, and the man working the front desk was one of the rudest customer service people I’ve ever encountered. He was interrupting to make excuses to the point where I couldn’t even get a word in. “Minnesota Nice” apparently skipped this location. Based on the staff and cleanliness, we would never return to this location.

The building itself looked nice but the room we stayed in 333, 1 bedroom suite, needed a lot of work. There was blue plaster on the wall behind the bedroom chair from a hole that was made at some point, the carpet wasn’t all the way to the wall by the tv stand in the bedroom, the door frame inside the bathroom needed repair.

I thought the breakfast was wonderful...but then they even offer evening hearty snacks as well as free beer and wine!! Are room was great, but you can see the upholstered furniture is wearing down. Beds were very comfortable!!

I was disappointed that I had to try three rooms before I found one that would be acceptable for my stay. The first room was almost 80° and it seemed the air conditioning was broken. The second had a strange vibration in the floor and bouncing off the windows. It may have been above the laundry area. The third room was just right! I must say though the staff was very patient and kind with me to keep offering different rooms until we found one that was going to work.

It was very clean. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The two room suites give us enough room for our family to relax. We checked in around 8:30 pm, and the person working the front desk was wonderful. She had a great personality, seems to love her job, and was so helpful. Not our first stay at this location, and we'll be back.

An good hotel overall. And I would recommend this hotel to a friend. However, the heat/air in our unit was fairly loud. After a while, we got used to it so it wasn’t too bad.

We had reserved an accessible room but didn’t get one. I use a walker and our room was the furthest from the elevator. Seeing as we were only staying one night we didn’t bother complaining. The size of the suite was great but the sofa was old and threadbare. I also sunk down in it.

Initially we were sent to the wrong room, but we quickly realized it wasn't the room we had paid for and the front desk clerk found the error and got us into the right room. Later we discovered the toilet wouldn't flush, so all weekend we had to manually reach into the back tank and make it flush as they didn't have maintenance staff to fix it. They refunded us a portion of our charge. Building is getting a bit worn down.

The front desk staff/management was excellent! My father was having surgery at nearby Mayo Clinic and it was scheduled very early in the morning so I called the night before to check if we could check in a bit earlier than 3pm. They indicated they could not guarantee but would make note to clean our room asap to try and accommodate. When we arrived for check in early, they had the room ready and my father could rest and recover. Great service and we will remember that upon return trips to Rochester. THANK YOU!!

Room door dead bolt would not lock, Damage to the walls were not repaired. Just painted over (Bathroom) I would have told the desk attendant, but no one was manning the desk when we left.

We have stayed here the past 4 years during a truck show in a nearby city. It is a great location for where we need to be. Hotel is always clean and quiet. Staff helpful. Breakfast in the morning is nice, there are also some nice places to eat nearby.

Check in was ok. Rarely a person at the front desk. beds were comfortable, room was nice. Bathroom floor was dirty, could use a sweep and a wash. Great eating are, lots of room, the food however was something that needs work. Sausage was dry, tator tots were dry, not much variety.

The only downside was the breakfast. They take it up earlier than the stated hours, so if you have kids plan to eat when they open. Everything was gone by 8:30am.

Liked the location. Room was very nice. Morning breakfast was very disappointing. Cereal selection is only 1 type. Eggs were soupy and breakfast meat was missing. Selection in the pantry area was low. Won’t stay there again.
