Hotel itself was great. Location is super good just front of Omicho fish market. The only thing I didn’t like was the amenities. No coffee, brush, razor or any other items that most hotel give it out. Public bath was nice but would be much better if we have a sauna. Few things can be improved in customers experience.

Super modern hotel, very sleek and seems brand new. You can do your laundry on the second floor for a small fee. You can also refill your water bottle there for free. They also have a beautiful Onsen (public bath), very modern. We used it every day twice a day. The room is very cool and interesting. The only thing is that there is not a lot of space to store your luggage so it always felt like it was in the way. Bathroom is small too so not much counter space to put your toiletry bag. Overall, we were super happy with this hotel. Location was great, right in front of the Omicho market plus Kanazawa is small enough that you choose to walk to all the tourist points of interest

Public bath is very crowded, you have to line up for shower. No room-cleaning if you’re staying for two nights, not even tidying up your bed / basic vacuum. The hotel branding is trying to go young but seems forgoing the basics of Japanese-hospitality. Hotel location is great though.

Everything was wonderful overall. The onsen was excellent and the room was very comfortable. A few additional practical hooks for hanging jackets or scarves would make the space even more convenient. The hotel was spotless, beautifully minimal, and great value for money. Breakfast was beautifully presented, and while I personally prefer warmer and more strongly flavored dishes, it was still a pleasant start to the day.

Good hotel for exploring Kanazawa’s castle, garden, and market. It is a healthy walk to Kanazawa Station, so use a taxi or shuttle service if you are transporting luggage. The service is friendly but inaccessible using the online chat. Having a phone in the room and a more formal front desk concierge would be helpful. Note that the “Green” room cleaning only changes the towels, so it is best to request standard cleaning if you want your bed made.

Well: nice staff and area Not well: mold and lots of dust inin the AC causing safety concern, felt like all European and American tourists were at this hotel; they don’t clean or make your room when staying longer than one night. They claim it’s because of eco but don’t see how making a bed will improve Eco. We accidentally spilled some chips on the floor and they did not want to help cleaning it…(due to eco). Therefore I cannot rate this hotel high on cleaning

今回で2回目の利用です。デラックスグループツインの部屋でしたが、空調の温度設定が出来ず初日は暑くて睡眠不足になってしまった。エアコンのフィルターは埃だらけで掃除出来ておらず、部屋のエアコンのリモコンで温度調整が出来なかった。2日目はフロントに問合せ後にフィルター交換、その他で改善され良くなったのでその後は快適に過ごせました。まだオープンして1年になっていないので、部屋、施設はともて綺麗で満足です。大浴場も使いやすく、廊下も良い匂いです。チェックインやチェックアウトもセルフでスムーズ出来ます。フロントの若いスタッフの対応もとても良いです。近江町市場も目の前にあり便利な立地です。全体的に新しくおしゃれな施設で良いのですが、大浴場にあるドライヤーや扇風機は見た目重視で風力や性能面がイマイチなのが残念です。

Except for the TERRIBLE WIFI (I had to use my phone’s data most of the time), this is a very nice hotel. The onsen is very nice but hotel is not a spa. I stayed in 3 different rooms (because I kept extending) and the wifi was nearly unusable in all of them. Great location! Nice, quiet and clean.

If you can get past the TERRIBLE WIFI (I had to use my phone data most of the time), this is a very nice hotel. I kept extending my stay. Clean, quiet, nice onsen (but to call the hotel a “spa” is a stretch) and a great location directly across from the amazing fish market. Again, the wifi sucks. Did I mention the sucky wifi?

We really enjoyed this property. My only suggestion would be for the rooms to have storage area. There is no place to put your luggage. Staff is amazing, have excellent english and are very friendly. I would definitely go back there.

Very clean room and friendly staff. Zen decor throughout. Centrally located. Room is quite small with no closet or drawers. The bed is on a raised surface, requiring you to step down to the rest of the room which makes things risky at night with lights out. If you’re not that agile or young, you might want to take this layout into consideration. Also, they can receive shipped luggage but to deliver luggage to another location, you need to walk 3-4 min to Yamato office which closes at 7 pm.

My wife and I have been planning our honeymoon to Japan for over a year. We carefully selected SOKI due to its proximity to popular attractions in Kanazawa. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that SOKI offers a one of a kind experience. The staff were inviting, warm, and respectful. The rooms + amenities offered a quiet relaxing getaway which serves as the perfect break from days spent exploring the many cultural and historical attractions found in Kanazawa. Upon arrival the staff kindly checked our bags in. After which we explored the world famous Omicho market which is located directly across the street. We missed breakfast our first morning, but made sure to enjoy the traditional premium Japanese breakfast experience the following day. What stood out the most are the beds. Minimalistic but by God they were incredibly comfortable. As far as breakfast goes, incredible, I highly recommend enjoying each dish in the intended order. We didn’t get a chance to try the Onsen, but we’ll be back next year for sure! Thank you so much!

場所は近江市場の道路挟んですぐ向かいでひがし茶屋街にも徒歩圏内で便利です。建物の入り口・ロビーの雰囲気は洗練されておしゃれで部屋も清潔感あって居心地がよいです。大浴場もありミルクコーヒーや匂い袋を作れる無料サービスなどもありよかったです。 1点気になったところは、チェックインがロビーのマシン2台でしか行えないためチェックインが始まる15時以降ロビーにチェックイン待ちの客が大勢いる状態になっていました。スタッフの方も常時2～3名いますがその方々はマシンでのチェックインのサポートしかできない仕組みになっているので大変そうでした。

We shipped our bags from Osaka to hotel Through Yamato. When it came time to ship to next destination they refused. They sent me to shipping office. How 🤔 can they receive baggage but not assist in shipping? Also,all restaurants and vendors in Kanazawa are cash only. This hotel doesn't accept cash

Our stay at the hotel was overall excellent. The room, the private onsen, and the restaurant/breakfast were truly exceptional, making our experience very memorable. However, there were two aspects that could be improved. First, the lack of accessibility at the hotel entrance made it difficult to manage baby strollers and luggage, since the only access was by stairs. Second, when we asked the reception for assistance with sending our luggage to our next hotel, we were only told to go to the nearest Yamato shop. As we were traveling with a baby, stroller, three suitcases, and backpacks, this became quite challenging. Aside from these points, everything else was wonderful, and we would recommend the hotel for its comfort, food, and overall atmosphere.

Our family stay at Soki Kanazawa coincided with the 1st Jan earthquake. The staff were amazing throughout, and took care to ensure we were safe and protected from the impending Tsunami alert. They are to be commended for their calm manner through such a stressful time for all. Earthquakes aside, we had a fantastic stay and loved everything about Soki. The hotel has a very clean and modern ambience, the location is great just opposite the markets, and within walking distance of everywhere. Will definitely choose to stay again.

Everything about this hotel exceeded even my highest expectations. The location - just a stone's throw from Omicho Market - was unbeatable. Moreover, the beautifully furnished rooms, public bath, and breakfast were top-notch. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Kanazawa!

とてもお洒落で洗練された空間でした。大浴場があるので選びました。シャワーが5～6箇所で少し待ちましたが…。朝食も割烹料理屋みたいな雰囲気でセレブ感を味わえました！近江町市場も近く、また行きたいお店も見つけたので金沢へ行く際にはまた泊まりたいです。

This hotel is within easy walking distance of the train station, castle, gardens and just across the road from the Omicho market. The room was a good size with a futon bed. But not much space for anyone with lots of luggage. The onsen was lovely with just one large pool set at ~42C. Breakfast was the highlight and really set this hotel apart - a box of fresh seafood, rice, pickles and miso soup as well as green tea was beautifully presented and delicious. Staff were always present to help with check in. And there was a self service luggage storage in the foyer.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. We arrived into Kanazawa late in the afternoon and we struggled to find something for dinner. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Breakfast the following day was also a divine work of art. Highly recommend Soki Kanazawa. Hotel, facilities, staff and restaurant all excellent. Well and truly exceeded our expectations.

Super stylish hotel with lovely amenities but very disappointing that they couldn’t offer a vegetarian breakfast, even with advance warning made at the time of booking (weeks in advance). There are plenty of Japanese vegetarian dishes that could have been served. Shame for such a modern hotel to be so rigid. What if a guest had an allergy? How would they have dealt with that?
