The hotel is clean and tidy, fair enough space with free breakfast. There are some bar and restaurants nearby and a park as well. Tranaportation was accessible if you want to explore other restaurants or cafe. The only problem why I didn't rate it as 5 stars because the elevator was incovenient. The hotel have 2 elevators but only one was working so most of the time we used stairs to go up the 7th floor. But overall its a good place to stay if you visit Calgary.

There was only 1 elevator which serviced 11 floors! Had to go up to second floor for check in And no option to park your ar except valet. The hotel was fairly close to the function we went to that's why chose it and i was a member of marriott so I've had better stays

Not impressed with our stay two nights ago. Both elevators out of service so had to take the stairs up and down to the fifth floor on an injured foot. Had to carry all our items down in the morning. We also paid $37 for valet as required as there is no parking onsite and ended up having to walk to where our car was parked with all of our things because they couldn’t drive manual. I’ll be looking for a different hotel for our next trip to Calgary.

The parking is a big issue - took 20 minutes driving around the block to get parking, and then to get someone to help. Every time you want to drive, you have to wait a long time to get your vehicle. For these reasons won't stay there again, especially if you have a vehicle (value service only and it costs $37.00 a day).

The hotel had two elevators/ One had been out of service for many weeks. The hotel was virtually paralyzed and our wait time often came to ten to fifteen minutes, resulting in us being late for meetings. The hotel never advised us in advance, and of course not even one apology. This apparently had been going on for many weeks. In the one elevator that was in service, the floor indicators had pieces missing , making for example an 8 look like a 9.. The whole experience was really most poor. Never again we will stay at a Fairfield. Marriott do not let things like this happen on your watch. Shame on you.

The location was decent but the room was FILTHY. It seemed like they havent dusted it for years and super old. Also there was hair in the shower which was gross. Booked for 2 days but checked out after 1 day. Wouldn’t recommend

We had a stain on the sheets when we checked in which was a bit gross so we just peeled it off. Staff also was a bit unorganized, we payed for valet parking though they asked us to drive in and park it ourselves, seemed like they were rushed and needed more staff. Elevators were also extremely slow.

Staff was wonderful. The downtown location is both good and bad. Close to amenities and the Saddledome. Lots of homeless in the area. It was obvious the room wasn't vacuumed

The room was very nice, good view of the city. The bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows were tiny. The tv was large and we were able to stream from our streaming services. There are some great restaurants nearby and it’s an easy walk to shopping and other restaurants. There are a lot of homeless in the area. We did not feel very comfortable parking our car there. That being said nothing happened to the vehicle.

3 of us stayed at the Fairfield where we found staff to be helpful and friendly, breakfast offerings were varied and tasty with good coffee, location was convenient and walkable, queen beds were comfortable, but the sofabed for sleeping was uncomfortable since the mattress was not thick enough not to feel the bars. Using one of the two comforters obtained from housekeeping as extra cushion did help. Also we had to use the desktops for two suitcases and luckily staff found a luggage rack for the 3rd suitcase. Closet was very small.

Amazing room with nice view if you get the side facing the central restaurant. Beds were extremely comfy, with a larger bathroom and had delicious restaurant near by. The only parking for the hotel available is valet parking and was $40 a day, unless you find your own parking. The front desk was extremely helpful and allowed us late check out. And everything was brought together by a great breakfast with evening you would want

Please do not stay here. Horrible staff who will not help and are very rude. Our toilet in the middle of the night just randomly backed up and water and other peoples feces went all over the floor which we had to clean up. Loud noise rang from the toilet all night long and no overnight staff to help. The hotel refused a refund or any kind of ownership. We had to go across the street to a convenience store to use the washroom during our stay.

We loved our stay at Fairfield Inn by Marriott. Got a free upgrade to the suite which is super handy as we were traveling with a toddler. Every single staff member who helped us during our stay were so friendly and helpful, it does feel like they like working there! The complimentary breakfast is so good, lots of variety even a waffle maker! The room is spacious, clean and bright with ample natural light. Very enjoyable. It’s also located so close to downtown we walked most days, it’s super convenient.

The gal at reception was not helpful stated that she was “just covering the desk” assigned a room that was not the one I paid for through Expedia and charged me for the room upon check in over and above the amount I paid through Expedia. I am still trying to get my money back….a lady at the front desk today confirmed that the charge was NOT just the “incidentals” charge it was in fact a full room rate charged to my card.

Staff was awesome. Property was very clean. Many dining options nearby, walkable to the sporting events and easy shopping. Did not drive so cannot assess parking. But I would certainly stay here again. The breakfast was great. Coffee was fresh and everything was wonderful.

Staff were excellent! We need an accessibility room and staff reached out to ensure we had the room that met our needs! We were greeted by Ivan! Who was friendly and ensure all our needs were met. When we returned from a concert Jaxon, who was on his second day of work made sure our vehicle was taken care of!

Cant thank the staff enough for the professional services provided. If even back in Calgary, this will be for sure the place to stay. Breakfast always great. Service always fantastic and they accommodated to all my needs. A big thank you for making me feel at home from away.

We stayed here to go to a Calgary Flames hockey game at the Saddledome. The location was great. It was an easy 20 minute walk to the stadium and an easy 15 minute walk to the C-Train to go to the Zoo or to the Chinook Centre. Lots of great places to eat and drink right near the hotel. The room was great and we managed to find free overnight parking within one block of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice property with excellent amenities in the downtown Calgary core right outside the door. Can be a touch loud into the evening but that’s to be expected with the location. Valet was a little clunky for parking and the elevator wait could be sometimes frustrating but all in all a nice stay.

Central location to everything you’d need. Very walkable to bars, parks, restaurants and shops. The hotel was very clean and had an amazing breakfast. Coffee was piping hot and delicious. Walkable to most everything such as the stadium for hockey or the Calgary tower. I loved this location, I will definitely be back

One elevator was closed so took forever to get to our upper floor. House keeping is every two days which is okay but during our stay all housekeeping did was change the towels, emptied one of two garbage bins, made the bed like a 5 yr old would. Continental breakfast were terrible. Everything was out every morning off our three day stay and it took forever to re place any items, no plates, no eggs, not even hot oatmeal. The list goes on. Very disappointing

This hotel is great, the staff are super helpful from valet to lobby to breakfast. The rooms are very modern, comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast is the best I’ve had at a hotel! The location is great if you want to be able to walk to restaurants and bars!
