Nice hotel in downtown Louisville within easy walking distance of several bars and restaurants. We stayed there because we were doing a date night cooking class which is held in an offshoot of the hotel itself. Very convenient! Nice bar and rooftop restaurant on the 8th floor as well. Self parking was $22

Great hotel but our room backed up to Mercury Ballroom and there was a show at night so we couldn't sleep until about 2am after the bass stopped. Elevators were broken too. Glad we were on the 3rd floor.

After the fire alarm was corrected, we were unable to access the elevators to return to our rooms. No one had a key to allow us access to the stairs. We were taken to the freight elevator but no one had a key. We finally took the garage elevator to the restraunt who had access to the stairs. The "club" next door was shaking our windows after the concert we returned from was over.

Really good location, especially if you're seeing a rock show at the Palace Theater around the corner. Hotel has no parking, but a city garage is next door. ($22 night). Mercury Ballroom blasted loud music past midnight. Delicious breakfast with good service. Overall good experience.

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. The only issue, and it’s a big one, is the rooftop bar. It was understaffed and very very slow. Service was terrible. There are twelve TVs outside and no one could turn them on or find the basketball playoffs. Horrible service.

11pm fire alarm, resulting in an hour outside because a mangers “keys were on the shuttle going to the airport”. Very unprofessional in a management role when questioned by everyone standing outside waiting to go back into our rooms.

Anngel saved the day. When I arrived in the room I was surprised to find that there was still remnants of the previous person who had stayed in the room prior to my visit. Which in turn makes me question how clean the room is. Anngel heard my complaints and soothed my concerns.

The hotel was really nice. The staff was all exceptional. We had a problem with the 4th floor where our rooms where smelling of smoke from the wood burning fire pizza oven on the 8th floor. The hallway and the rooms smelled of this smoke. We couldn't be moved due to hotel mostly full. The front desk did try to make it a better situation with providing a complementary breakfast for all four of us. When I got home my clothes in my suitcase even smelled of the smoke. You could tell it was a wood burning smoke smell like a fire pit. They did say at the front desk they where checking into it and would correct in the future. A few customers the week before had the same complaint. It could have been due to the damp weather outside just not sure on that though. On a good note the pizza from that oven in the restaurant was wonderful.

Chose this hotel because of the excellent rating. This goes to show that ratings are definitely not always accurate. The lobby was nice but the room was rundown and shabby. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were terrible. Did not get maid service or fresh towels. Had to go to the front desk to get towels. The view was absolutely terrible. The parking garage was nasty and lacked any security at all. It’s ridiculous to pay what I paid for a room in a hotel that was rated excellent and still have to pay 22 a day for parking in a garage that was disgusting and not secure at all. Absolutely will not stay here again.

Check in was very easy and the staff was very friendly. It was right beside our concert venue, Mercury Ballroom which made it extremely convenient. Walking distance from 4th Street Live. Our room and restroom was spotless. Will definitely stay again when we’re in Louisville.

It was the perfect location to for us because it's on the same block as the Louisville Palace. There are also a lot of things to do within walking distance. The only issue we had is that upon arrival, the hallway on the third floor reeked of marijuana. There's no judgement here, but it is a non-smoking hotel.

Upon checking in we noticed our tv didn’t work. Called the desk and 90 minutes later no one came. Came back at 10:50p and called again. No one came. Called at 11:15p new desk person said everyone is gone. Offered new room. Too late for us to pack back up and move.

Great staff and facility and convenient to the Palace Theater and other downtown locations. However, the foundation for the bed is terrible! It juts out in such a way that you're constantly hitting your shins on the dark colored corners. We finally took two pillows and put them at the corners of the bed platform to cover the corners that jut out and that solved the problem.

Was fine. Was disappointed that my window shade wouldn’t go up so I had a dark room all day. There was not a way to put it up as they’ve transitioned to an electronic system. Which would work as long as it wasn’t broken like it was. Some staff was incredibly kind, but some really seemed like they didn’t my want to be there. Wish breakfast was free, but it is what it is. Everything else was fine. Not great, not terrible, just fine.

The heat/ac unit in our room had no power. No air flow in the room. The toilet seat was loose and you could slide off if not careful. Simple things like this would be easily fixed if someone took the time to walk thru the rooms.

The shower door leaked and the shower entrance is incorrectly located on the side away from the shower control valve. Also, the tp holder is inconveniently located too far behind the toilet. The main door into the room is hard to open and keep open as you enter and leave. The shower door and main door slam shut with a loud noise. The room is exposed to street noise, which makes it difficult to sleep. You, no doubt, are aware of these conditions and expect guests to cope.

Check in was a terrible experience for my husband and I. The younger lady checking us in was so rude when we walked up, right from the start... not greeting us, just saying "hold on!" As we just walked up and didn\'t say anything yet. She was so rude throughout the conversation of trying to check in, fig out where parking is, etc. that the manager overheard and came out of the back and had to help us. It was awful and put us uneasy for our whole first day. The room was not what we were expecting, stains on the couch, bed super hard, and in the morning we were woke up each day at 7am and 5am from the heater in the room turning on which we thought was a loud dump truck outside... until we realized this was the heater in the room.. the ironing board didn\'t stand properly and the iron almost fell off making you had to keep your feet on the board while trying to iron.. overall this hotel we really thought would be better.. as a Hilton... the staff were so rude.. we even informed of these issues when checking out and the different young girl was slightly rude... but really just didn\'t care.. we will not be back.

My only gripe was we had two vehicles and it was a challenge to get the second added to the room. Overall though, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly so it absolutely made up for it. Would stay again if I make it out there again

Upon arrival at 3:30, room was not ready and was supposed to be able to check in at 3:00. Waited 45 minutes and room was still not ready, went to eat and came back at 6:00 and still not ready, had to wait about 10 minutes before we could go to the room. Room was clean and spacious.

We have stayed at this location a couple of times and have had wonderful experiences each time. Excellent location for walking to eateries, clubs, and venues. The cost for a room is comparable. This last experience was less than desirable. We waited in line for over 40 minutes to check in. There was only one desk attendant as the other one was helping the short-staffed cleaning crew. After the extensive wait, we were told our room wasn’t ready-mind you this was two and a half hours after advertised check in time. We had to wait an additional 20 minutes for a key. Upon arriving to our room, we found there was no hand soap in the bathroom. I walked out into the hallway and asked a gentleman who was watching videos on his phone instead of helping the two young cleaning ladies for some soap. He and one of the gals searched two cleaning carts as well as the supply room for a bar of soap only to not find a single bar. This was a less than desirable experience.

Perfect location for walking! Many restaurants nearby on 4th street! Enjoyed 4th Street Live! It was a two minute walk to The Palace where we attended a law school graduation. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Easy access off I65 and easy access back on. Central position to restaurants and venues. The room was quiet the beds were very comfortable. Everything really clean. I would stay again anytime.

Although I love the location and the staff is very friendly and helpful, I probably won't choose this hotel again. Our bed was extremely uncomfortable, the shower leaked on both of our recent stays, and the ice maker on our floor didn't work on our most recent stay. Breakfast is not included and is definitely not worth the extra fee.
