Bare bones room from the early 70’s that hasn’t had a dollar spent on it since. I had bed bugs. I them on video. I chose this location because it had a pool. There is a pool but under renovations. I paid the same price as the Rydges hotel in the CBD.

You need to pay a $300 deposit which is clearly mentioned on the booking sight, this is to make sure you don't do damage to their room. yet my room has so many marks on the wall, this is also the second room I have been in because the first room had that much mould in the shower that there was no way I was staying in it. I would suggest if you are going to stay here to take photos of the room with the marks on the walls and email them to them so you are not held accountable for them. You will not get your $300 back until they have inspected the room.

Lovely friendly staff who very kindly allowed us an early check in after a long road trip. The room was large, spotlessly clean with super comfy beds and lovely white linen. There was even a microwave. The room was very quiet even though we were close to the road. The grounds were very well cared for. Sadly we didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy the cafe on this trip however we will definitely be back.

The staff were very friendly, and the location was wonderful, very close to everything, however, I didn’t sleep at all the whole time I was there because the bed was riddled in bed bugs or flees, I was scratching like crazy and had rashes all over myself, it was very difficult trying to look after my autistic son on limited sleep because of this

The rooms are older but impeccably clean. Staff from the cleaners, wait staff and reception were all so helpful and friendly. Felt safe at all times and loved the convenience of the location, being able to walk to the foreshore and everything you needed was close by.

The bathroom was ugly, old and damaged in places. When using the sink the floor would flood due to faulty plumbing and the shower had a curtain instead of a door to keep in the splashes. It was overpriced. One would expect a better standard for the amount charged per night.

There was no full length hanging space. I had to lean the ironing board against the curtain to feel I had proper privacy. There was a just door between myself and the room behind me. I could hear everything from that room - the kettle heating, the microwave whirring, the people coughing, water running. It really felt like they were in the same room as me and was quite disconcerting. There was water damage coming through the wall from the bathroom and all the paint low on the wall was bubbling. I will not be staying there again.

This was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in, and also there was not even one hook anywhere that I could hang my clothes on. I have stayed at this place before and at the time I suggested they could even put a couple of hooks up behind the bathroom so you could hang a towel or even a shirt, but nothings changed. Will not be going there again

Very tired room, it could do with a refresh. No power points on the bed side wall, it makes it challenging to charge phones and power CPAP machines. Roof gutters were blocked and extreme rain thundered down in from of the door. With so many vacant rooms, why place guests in adjoining rooms. I could hear all their conversations.

Room Very Basic. Tidy. Bathroom, shower tiles badly worn, handbasin chipped and badly worn. Not of a standard, acceptable for the enjoyable stay. $300 bond. Excessive. Not only that a week later and bond still not refunded. Would we return, no.

The place is definitely not a hotel. Old and tired and more like a motel that was latest renovated in the 80th. It’s definitely not worth the price. On top of that the staff is really rude? Strange when you work in the service industry so not sure what’s going on there? Also the $300 deposit is something you have to chase to get back. I don’t recommend anyone to stay at this place.
