Very cosy hotel with a welcoming feel. Staff are very friendly & professional. Plenty of seating in bar area where you can eat but there is also a restaurant that you can book. The pub & rooms are dated giving a very traditional feel about the place. Located in a lovely village with other pubs only a couple of mins walk away. We would stay again x

This was the ideal location for an overnight stay ahead of a local meeting. The staff were very friendly and the pub/restaurant was cosy and inviting. The room was fine - a little old-fashioned but clean and tidy and everything worked. There was some noise from the bar downstairs, but this finished at 11pm and it was only minor anyway. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. On the whole, a convenient and very reasonable place to stay.

Great stay at the Dun Cow Inn. Just what we needed after our wedding at Hardwick Hall hotel. About 15 min walk from there. Beds were comfy, shower was nice and big and the full English was freshly made and nice and hot. Good amount of parking and all at a decent price. Staff were courteous and friendly. So yep excellent and would stay again if in the area.

V good, quick check in Good evening Meal Breakfast quick and efficient Parking limited so would recommend that the small car park is reserved for guests who have booked rooms, have the parking bays numbers, and reserved if that room is booked.

Very pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and made me feel welcome. Room was spotlessly clean but dated with loads of character. Some noise from the bar downstairs, but I wasn't bothered by that as you would expect it being a busy restaurant on a main road. Very quiet after closing time and road was quite as well. Was very disappointed with Dun Cow very tired decor and very uncomfortable mattress with four days loss of healthy sleep which No grab rail over shower . Sorry lovely staff and great breakfast thank you chef . Would not stay again beautiful old pub needs refurb in bedrooms and dining area 😔

Very good, 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel. The staff are exceptionally friendly and food is very good. The bed was a bit 'springy' but we had a good nights sleep. Only issue was there was no plug on the basin in the bedroom - this was mentioned next morning and I am sure it will have been rectified by the time the next occupants of the room arrive

A great welcome, fantastic reception, and very helpful, a big massive thanks to the manager and the young lady who kindly dropped me off at another venue, unfortunately, you had left before I returned, so was unable to thank you personally. Got my packed lunch for work, thank you so much, I did not expect this, and it's over and above my expectations, highly recommend staying here, I loved it, shame I had to get up early, all the best to you all, thank you A

We had a little problem with our evening meal but the manager and landlord dealt with it in an 'old fashioned' manor - we couldn't have asked for more. We have stayed at this property a number of times and without doubt do so again.

We love Sedgefield and the Dun Cow has been a really great place to visit. The staff are all friendly and can’t do enough to assist you. Even rang me to make sure we knew how to find them. However the property needs a refresh the rooms are looking tired and so are the public areas.

Booked Dun Cow as it was a couple of hundred yards from the event we were attending. What a fantastic place,very friendly staff and a really comfortable room. Pity we didnt stay for food as the menu looked excellent. All in all great stay
