Could hear people upstairs like they were in our suite! The temperature wouldn’t regulate, it was crazy hot. Called 5 times, on hold for 20 min. It was as if no one was home! 6.5 hotel, no way on earth is this a 9.6!! Parking a pain…

We love the cleanliness and design of this hotel as well as the breakfast, courtyard and pool area. The pool temperature was too warm for summer - we appreciate that is part of the design with the embedded hot tub, but it was a bit prohibitive to giving the kids a long swim. Otherwise there is potential for a restaurant or grub-hub type partnership given the location of the hotel having only a pub within walking distance (good food at the pub but not for dine in with kids).

Breakfast was great! Pool and hot tub were perfect. Beds cozy and warm. Only thing I'd fix is the shower curtain kept blowing into the shower while showering and it would leave little room to shower and stick to you while you showered. Possibly a curved out curtain rod would help instead of straight across one. I am a petite person so my size wasn't the issue 😉 Otherwise would absolutely stay there again!

Our stay was great. Extremely nice, clean, friendly hotel. Great amenities. Pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, and the breakfasts were excellent. Really kid friendly also. We would definitely stay again, since we, especially our granddaughters didn't want to leave. Thanks everyone at our hotel. We hope to come back.

This hotel is a destination for us. We met family members and got two rooms and a wonderful MEA break. everybody is so friendly and helpful there. I can’t find a better place to sit in the hot tub and watch a ball game.

Pretty good hotel. Staff wasn't particularly friendly, but the place was busy. Had some trouble with the wifi - kept getting kicked off. Clean room. Pretty good breakfast. Nice pool/hot tub area. Could use an extra elevator, as the two were always busy and sometimes there was a wait. Some decent restaurants close by.

My son crawled into bed around 10:30 (a few hrs after we arrived) and said his bed was wet. I said it can’t be. I went over to it. Sure enough it was wet and yellow. I went downstairs and asked for a new room. The front desk clerk (who was very nice) said they were sold out and asked if I was sure it was urine. I ended up changing the bedding myself and sleeping over the urine spot. While the rest of the hotel was fine this aspect of the hotel was disgusting and makes it hard to go back to again.

I don’t like doing reviews but when I checked in I checked in early and was tired. Went into the room and didn’t know there was a master outlet switch and I just crawled right into bed. When I woke up I saw the other switch and I found used dirty towels with pizza sauce and whatnot on it. Talked to staff they said it was cleaned and they must have missed it but it was right in the open. After going back up to the room I had a piece of black clothing fall onto the floor and it was completely covered in dust so I then began to wonder about the bed and such. They wouldn’t do anything about it. Only went there to just get away from the house as I don’t live too far away and I ended up going back in the morning to sit in the hot tub and eat breakfast and the breakfast was pretty poor and I ended up leaving again. Nice place just lacking on hospitality, cleanliness etc.

When Expedia asked me to share my recent experience I thought I would try to contact the hotel first. Unfortunately I couldn’t find an email. We stayed last year for our anniversary and besides the fire alarm going off it was fine. When walking into the room a couple days ago there were finger prints and muffin all over the side of the bedside table. The sink wouldn’t open or close and when telling the front desk the sink was broken it was “how so”, I explained and there was no apologies or anything. This too happened last time we stayed on the weekend. When asking for towels the girl said “I don’t know where to get them”. Even after that we decided to come back because we truly think element has a beautiful front entrance and great location. My hope is the cleaning is better and communication with front weekend staff.

The most miserable night’s sleep in our collective memory. Thermostat settings appeared to have no impact on temperature control so we were alternately throwing blankets off or throwing them back on. The comforter was so heavy and bulky we couldn’t get comfortable under it. And something in the alarm system associated with the accessible room we were given, much to our chagrine, provided an electrical discharge noise that was on and off all night.

Traveled with my dad and 2 daughters and the family suite worked perfect for us. Were able to cook a few meals in the room and store cold foods/drinks in fridge. Perfect space for family of 4.

Really liked the layout of room. TV wasn’t working and had to call front desk for assistance. Staff that attended was very nice however, it required a couple calls and long wait for front desk to pick up. Breakfast was nice, however they did run out of many items due to the number of guests- hotel should have been mindful of same knowing how full they were. We booked the hotel for the courtyard/fire table and whirlpool, however, there was a large young sports team and parents that, understandably, took up all the space. I would be calling hotel directly to inquire about group bookings in future as we were hoping for relaxing weekend getaway.

We were happy with our stay, and would give 5 stars… except that we were silent-billed a $50 pet fee despite not having a pet with us. Had I not checked the emailed receipt, I would not have noticed. I called the front desk and this charge was reversed without any issue, but as a closing experience to staying here, it left a bad taste.

There were terrible noises coming from the hvac in our room, they didn’t care teenagers were running on a cement ledge and jumping off the hot tub into the pool. They also charged (instead of pre surged) an incidental fee on top of the deposit and so I was out the conversion fee for Canadian/USD even tho we didn’t owe them anything. The guy was really quite rude on the phone as well. Would not stay there again, how disappointing

It was a delightful stay. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bedding was outstanding - I plan on ordering pillows online. The Breakfast was excellent. Definitely would stay here again. Clean, beautiful and comfortable.

Enjoyed our stay in West Fargo. Room was fresh, clean and nicely decorated. Felt roomier than most hotel rooms. Appreciated the coffee maker w/coffee and tea. Fresh coffee available in lobby was good, too! Little noisy with kids running up/down hallways and loud TV's from room next door. But it seems like a family friendly place, so guess that's to be expected. Not a big deal. Staff friendly. Would definitely stay here again when visiting daughter at MSUM!

Modern and wonderful with all manner of amenities. Staff is genuinely helpful and happy. Located within a few minutes of many great restaurants and locales. Rooms also have excellent features, such as filtered water taps and spacious showers.

Very clean, pretty room. The entire hotel was very clean, up to date with style. A wonderful breakfast with excellent service. I would definitely recommend a stay here, you won't regret it.

Really liked the layout of room. TV wasn’t working and had to call front desk for assistance. Staff that attended was very nice however, it required a couple calls and long wait for front desk to pick up. Breakfast was nice, however they did run out of many items due to the number of guests- hotel should have been mindful of same knowing how full they were. We booked the hotel for the courtyard/fire table and whirlpool, however, there was a large young sports team and parents that, understandably, took up all the space. I would be calling hotel directly to inquire about group bookings in future as we were hoping for relaxing weekend getaway.

This place was amazing! We loved the warm saltwater pool. The outside area looks so nice. Everyone was very nice. Everything was so clean. Our room was handicapped accessible and very nice for my daughter. The gentleman at the front desk explained the light switch and everything. They even had allergy friendly (packaged) options at breakfast! The other breakfast options were good too, breakfast tacos made fresh and they were delicious.

Very nice hotel - clean and quiet. Was not impressed with breakfast - we went down to eat at 9:40... they were out of bacon and eggs and didn't bring anymore out. There were several other guests their also. I realize breakfast is done atv10am, however it was Saturday morning and several guests coming down to eat.

I absolutely would recommend this hotel. I was skeptical when I booked it because it was pricey for what I normally pay. However, it was worth every penny! It was so clean and I slept amazingly as the bed was so comfortable. I was a little nervous because there were a lot of kids at the hotel due to a hockey tournament & thought it would get loud, but after 10:30pm couldn’t hear a noise from them. The complementary breakfast was delicious and a great variety to choose from. I also love that check out is at noon as you don’t feel so rushed. I will definitely be staying here again.

It was a delightful stay. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bedding was outstanding - I plan on ordering pillows online. The Breakfast was excellent. Definitely would stay here again. Clean, beautiful and comfortable.

Breakfast was great! Pool and hot tub were perfect. Beds cozy and warm. Only thing I'd fix is the shower curtain kept blowing into the shower while showering and it would leave little room to shower and stick to you while you showered. Possibly a curved out curtain rod would help instead of straight across one. I am a petite person so my size wasn't the issue 😉 Otherwise would absolutely stay there again!

They “ran out of breakfast” 40 minutes before breakfast was to end. I think the two young gals were more interested in texting on their phone than they were stocking the breakfast area. For the cost per night, breakfast should NEVER “run out”. Very disappointing.

Enjoyed our stay in West Fargo. Room was fresh, clean and nicely decorated. Felt roomier than most hotel rooms. Appreciated the coffee maker w/coffee and tea. Fresh coffee available in lobby was good, too! Little noisy with kids running up/down hallways and loud TV's from room next door. But it seems like a family friendly place, so guess that's to be expected. Not a big deal. Staff friendly. Would definitely stay here again when visiting daughter at MSUM!
