This property is in a prime location for old town Key West. It is less than a block from Duval Street and at the half way point up Duval. Our room was spacious and super clean. There are several sitting areas, a big front porch, a second floor covered porch and a first floor back area. The breakfast is adequate. There are no tables. You have to sit on the porches or take to your room. The air conditioners are very quiet. Anyone who stays in Key west knows what I mean.

The property was very clean and well kept. It was so convenient to many locations in Key West - Duvall Street, the fort, historic area. The breakfast was good - a typical continental breakfast - fresh croissants from a local bakery, yogurts, cereal, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The public areas (upstairs porch, outside front porch, and backyard patio) were very nice and comfortable. We ate lunch on the upstairs porch twice while there. Our only complaint, which is why we didn't rate it as 5 stars overall, is that the front bedroom is very noisy as it faces the road. We heard many vehicles, trash trucks, mosquito spraying, street cleaners, and guests talking on the front porch from our room. If we stayed here again, we'd request a room further in the back of the building.

The manager of the property, (Drew) was very nice and very informative of the area. The property is a short walk (less than a block) to Duval St. The property is very quiet at night with a nice porch to sit out on and enjoy the evening. In the am they have a nice continental breakfast in the lobby. A very enjoyable place to stay. We will be back

I stay at different places each time i go to Key West. This time i found my favorite! First let me say, no pool & no onsite parking BUT everything else was amazing. We use the beaches so a pool didn't matter. There was limited street parking or a parking lot that's about a 7 minute walk. The great things? Amazing, friendly staff! So kind Light breakfast was nice, but word on the street was that the donut store down a couple buildings was the best. You gotta get there early or they run out. Our room was just the right size. Decent sized bathroom which was great. Off the room was a shared seating area. Upstairs there's another seating area surrounded by the tree tops. You can sit out on the front porch as well. There are two GREAT parts. 1. Free happy hour since it's adults only. 2. Right off of Duval!! But still quiet. I will definitely stay there again!!

wonderful location - park on the street right out the front door - yes you have to pay the city $40 bucks a day BUT leave your car and walk to sloppy joes - have a couple beers then walk to the bull, have a couple beers then walk to ricks, have a couple beers then walk to hogsbreath, have a couple beers, walk to mallory square, watch the sunset, then walk to capt tonys, have a couple beers. oh there is also food. even pizza by the slice at 3AM, yes you can walk there. did i mention the location??? the room and bedding was super clean, the front porch was super clean, the hallway was super clean... this place is great, even before a couple of beers...

Location good, staff was nice, bed was prettt comfortable- dipping a little. Overall room was spacious and high ceilings. What i didnt like their cleaning products are VERY strong. I had to open the windows. My clothes still smell like it. Its that same smell u smell in some bars like clorox. Glad its clean but that is not healthy to breathe. Even once i complained to please not have my room cleaned with it it doesnt matter all over the house. Also i suggest a top floor. Its an old house With hardwoods , so of course , I heard them cleaning first thing in the morning , including vacuuming on hardwoods , was not good. I say all of that to say. I would stay there again except for the cleaning smell. It gave me a migraine and was making me super nauseous after coming in from a day of drinkiagain

Everything was great! Located right off Duval. Central to most attractions, eateries and bars. The 2 bedroom apt was cozy and roomy. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean. Loved the lani off the 2nd floor. Continental breakfast had a variety of different items for different palates. More than enough for us. Coffee was even great. Price for the suite was very reasonable. Only complaint I have is the rug in the one of the bedrooms needs cleaned. It was very dirty. I would highly recommend this Guest House.

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and paid nearly $1000 - we felt the photos did not reflect the reality so really do regret booking here. Small rooms which we had to ask to clean when we arrived due to the amount of dust. Floors felt greasy and grubby. Noisy all night from travellers due to thin walls - plumbing heard in other rooms, maids talking loudly outside our rooms in the early morning and the launderette in the next room rattling our bed frame woke us up . Tiny, basic bathroom, wardrobe too short to hang a dress. No front desk from 5.30. No reasonable parking nearby - nearest cheapest one ($15 a day) is a 20 minute walk away. Breakfast ok. Only pro for us was that it was close to duval street and short taxi ride to nearest lovely beach. Receptionist and maids were friendly. Would not stay here again.

The hotel itself as well as the room were both very nice. Only issue was how small the bathroom was. Shower was a good size, but the area for the toilet and 'open floor space' was tiny. Like you had to straddle the toilet or step into the shower to close the bathroom door. Bed was very comfy. Offered a nice little breakfast every morning and an awesome free happy hour every afternoon. Great location. Within walking distance of everything.

It's a very nice, small guesthouse in a great Key West location. Our room was big enough, with a king bed and two comfortable chairs. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars has nothing to do with the place itself - because of the location, it was quite loud in our room (located at the very front of the building) when the trash truck came through at 6:00 a.m., and then delivery trucks started coming shortly after that. If our room had not been one of the ones at the front of the building, I think it would have been much, much quieter, and I would have given 5 stars. We will definitely return, and will just ask for a different room next time.

Had the king room with patio towards back of house. Really nice area to hang out after a day of walking Duvall Street. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked wonderfully. Assorted filled croissants, cereals, yogurts, cheese sticks,and fresh fruit and coffee served everyday. House is close to everything, we walked everywhere, only using Uber or cab service to and from the airport. Staff here is super accommodating, friendly, communication is wonderful. Would love to stay here again.

The staff was excellent. Everyhing else was very disappointing. I have been using hotel.com for many years. This was the worst room i ever had. I realky think i have a concussion. The room was in the attic. So both sides of the ceiling were about 4ft. Shoukd not be legal to rent this room

Love this property. It's small and quaint, beautifully maintained. The continental breakfast is plentiful and so convenient for a late start to the day. The king bed was so comfortable and the sheets were soft. The location is fantastic. You're one block from Duval St. and there are restaurants on the street and just steps past that. The only negatives are staying on the first floor at the front of the house might not be wise for light sleepers. You will hear people entering and leaving the property. The walls are a little thin. I cant wait to visit this property & Key West again.

This place was very accommodating. The staff are excellent. Our connection from Pensacola to Charlotte was fine but as we landed in Charlotte our plane to Key West was departing. Delayed! We adapted and made it to Miami and took a car to Key West. We arrived at about three in the morning and found the key left there for us and felt like it was just going into our own home. Instructions for parking in the early morning hours were left for us and given to us verbally. We really appreciated all of their recommendations, hospitality and will definitely come again.

I travel a lot and I was very impressed with the accommodations! The air conditioning was A++++, which in the middle of July says a lot. The bedding was amazing, and being all adult house, it was very quiet during sleeping hours and enjoying the breakfast in the morning. But the highlight of the property was Drew at the front desk, he was like our own private concierge, he went above and beyond to find answers and fulfill requests. Need a golf cart he’s your man, beach towel no problem, helped us out with everything. Highly recommend this property

The staff was very accommodating. They had happy hour the day we arrived and continental breakfast the next morning. They held our luggage for us. The two bedroom suite was very spacious. Would recommended this to all my friends. Will come again.

I had an amazing stay at this property in Key West! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Duval Street, which made exploring so convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. I can’t wait to come back again!

We absolutely loved our stay at L’Habitation! The location is perfect, right off Duval Street near all the shopping, dining, and bars. The included breakfast had some delicious croissants and coffee from local places, and they also offered free Happy Hour drinks in the lobby in the afternoon. The staff was great - very friendly and helpful!

Such a perfect little gem in walking distance to duval st, hemingway house, and even a 20 min walk to the beach. Perfect location for everything you could need to enjoy key west. Also the property was lovely with key west charm.

The location is excellent and the staff friendly. They give a complimentary continental breakfast and happy hour which was a nice surprise. The rooms were spacious which can be hard to find at a guesthouse in Key West. The only negative is there's no on site parking and parking in the area isn't the easiest to find.

Great location! The room was clean and fairly large. My wife and I stayed one night, after staying three nights in an Airbnb with our friends on the opposite side of Duval street. The front desk attendant, Drew, was amazing. He held onto our bags for a little while and then accommodated an early checkin. He had great recommendations for restaurants and other activities. There was a pretty well stocked breakfast in the morning and then wine was put out during happy hour. Of course we wish the bathroom was a bit bigger and had places to put toiletries and whatnot, on the sink and in the shower. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to book for short term stays.

What a lovely place! Just a couple of blocks from Duval. Staff were so friendly and helpful, rooms had everything you need and are very nice and clean. Plush towels and linens. Breakfast was perfect, and the afternoon wine and snacks were a nice touch. Enjoyed sitting on the porch while having breakfast. Has a bed/breakfast feel to it. We parked several blocks down for &15/day and it was really no problem at all. We will definitely stay again!

Lovely place to stay. Right in the centre at Duval Street. Plenty to do and see. Nice gesture in the early evening with the happy hour. Although you are right in the hub of things it was so quiet and peaceful.
