Great walkable place to stay in Downtown Seattle. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Only problem was getting out of the parking garage, and the fact that they charged $68 per day, wish I had know that when booking. Would stay there again!

My experience was excellent for thr time we stayed here. The only thing I didn't like was that nowhere on this app does it mention that there is a daily fee for parking if your using the parking garage to park. It was not mentioned at all at time of check in either. It was a suprise fee that popped up at the time of check out.

We did not realize there was a parking fee of $45/day. The Continental Breakfast is not free! The hot tub was not hot at all, it was pool temp and dirty and the water level was very low so it was not filtering. We got out quickly. The hotel is OK but we would not stay again.

Had to leave this property after trying two different rooms. First room had an unclean bathroom, second room had a faulty/leaking shower. The hot tub was out of order as well. Throughout the property there was a lot of signs of wear on the walls. Still waiting for Expedia and the property to refund me.

The rooms seem a bit outdated with carpet and chairs. The bed was also not very comfortable. For the price it’s decent. The issue was we got to our room and it smelled like B.O. and then we also found a makeshift syringe in the bathroom. Leading us to believe the room was either not cleaned or cleaned poorly and don’t know what else we would find. We were moved to a new room and told about a discount we would get but have yet to see a final receipt.

Hotel is clean and in a convenient location. However, my room was never cleaned over my four night stay. (They said that it would be cleaned every other day.) The heating/air element in the room was also extremely loud which made it difficult to sleep.

It’s a very basic hotel. The rooms were not cleaned during our stay (we had 3 nights/4 days) which is actually so significantly sub-standard for any hotel let alone one which charges such a high price. Nothing is replenished such as in-room coffee, towels, or toiletries. The staff are mostly polite when they engage with you. The waiting staff in the restaurant had a manner which was a little strange, and I felt like we weren’t completely welcome- perhaps they took an issue with us having non-American accents? A significant disappointment was that we were mislead initially regarding our included breakfast which we had paid for, and missed a day of this. No offer to compensate us was forthcoming, but when challenged they acknowledged that this was included. It’s not good enough for a hotel to be dishonest or incompetent in this manner. The breakfast we did get was satisfactory, but could have been better quality for the price the hotel charges for a stay. I was bitterly disappointed with this hotel, especially given the Hilton branding which I took as a quality assurance. My stay was lovely because Seattle is a fantastic city. I will be back to Seattle, but you’ll need me in a coffin to get me to revisit this dreadful hotel.

Charged us about quite a bit more than originally quoted when we booked the room because apparently the price we booked for wasn’t accurate. The breakfast is an outrageous amount of money per person every morning and it’s nothing special. Average, run of the mill hotel food. Housekeeping only comes every 2 days. We asked the front desk many questions and were given the wrong answer every single time and each person gave us a completely different answer or we got a “I don’t know I’m not from here wait for the next shift to come to ask”. Rooms were dirty. After house keeping came we noticed the bedspread had been changed (thankfully because my husband had accidentally spilled coffee on ours) but the new one had crusted food on it and stains like it hadn’t been washed. This was a super expensive hotel for us and not at all worth it. Will not be back.

The bathroom was was not in good condition, mildew stains in shower and toilet rocked when you sat on it. The room was average for the cost. Swimming pool was like the bathroom. Mildew stains and clean but didn’t look it.

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times without any issues. But this time was terrible. First I found a long black hair on the washcloth hanging on the towel. I just ignored it and used the other towels. Then my TV remote was not working and had no back on it covering the batteries. Then when going to use the shower the lower shower was turned on, so when I turned on the shower I was sprayed with water until I could figure out to switch it. The bathroom floor was now also covered in water that I had to clean up. Then I found several long black hairs in the shower. (i have short gray hair, this was not mine) If I wasn't so exhausted, I would have packed up and found a new hotel. Terrible cleanliness and room preparation.

An excellent visit. Staff was wonderful. Just a few minor issues. 1) the ice machine on our floor didn't work. 2) IMO, the AC unit was loud. 3) the sheer drape was missing a hook or two. We would stay again.

The staff that we dealt with checking in both times were very friendly and helpful. We stayed before and after a cruise, we did not know they offered a shuttle to the port. The young man at the front desk asked us what we were there for, we told him we would be going on a cruise, he quickly took the shuttle book out and let us know that they had room for us and signed us up. When we returned we got in early and knew we probably would not get a room right away, but Elizabeth made it happen and we were in our room in minutes and before 11am. Both times we were given 2 water bottles and big smiles.

Pretty much all interactions with staff were dissatisfying. Staff at check-in desk provided very little information for our stay, including that the parking garage door was going to be a challenge to navigate (there was actually specific instructions on a card tucked into the key card envelope that the desk clerk did not tell me about). Once in the room, we discovered that the AC unit was very noisy and the TV either lacked a guide or the remote buttons were worn out. Either way, the staff did little to resolve either issue during our stay despite our requests for assistance. My other interactions with the front desk were less than satisfying. BTW, the hotel parking is exorbitant ($64, pretty much twice the rate available many other places nearby) so plan accordingly. Also, what kind of hotel chain does not have an interactive guide available on their TV? This also made finding details about the hotel and amenities a chore (since there was no information provided in the room itself and the hotel website is awful) and another dissatisfying touchpoint. Maybe fine for a Motel 6, but expect more from a Hilton. All in all, our hotel experience detracted from our Seattle excursion rather than contribute to it and would not recommend staying here.

Mostly not happy with this hotel and won’t be staying here any longer due to from desk costumer service at the time we arrived, the receptionist this young Asian lady needs to be given a little more costumer service classes as I run 4 different business and to me my most important part is the first welcoming to my clients regardless of how they look or what are they wearing or what race they are apparently this isn’t the case for her, I was on my work clothes and haven’t felt so uncomfortable in a long time but thanks to her she did the job, I saw how she helped other well dress guests compare to how she help me and my kids, unfortunately this review I doubt it gets anywhere but at least somehow I feel a relieve by letting someone know, on top of that she wanted to double charge me when I had already paid through orbits got me waiting there until her coworker finally told her that YES it was already paid, when we finally got the okay for the room she gets mad because I didn’t want to pay $67 to park on their garage when right next to them there is a huge parking garage where I paid $7 for the whole day and night. Anyways looking forward to not saying here in my future trips to downtown Seattle.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Just as they claim, they sure do make things right! They were accommodating, friendly and helpful. We especially found Ruben to be delightful, knowledgeable and helpful. But truly all the staff had great hospitality. If we're ever in Seattle again we will certainly be staying here!

The stay was comfortable, I came with my wife and young child. We were in the pool all 3 days, the pool could have been a little warmer for the adults but the kids didn’t care. The hot tub could have used a little more chlorine or whatever they use to keep it clean. The room was pretty clean, the rooms are just about ready for renovations, it’s been 10 years since the place first opened. The front desk staff was fantastic, very accommodating. The restaurant and bar need more help, they are understaffed, especially when there are football games at Lumen field. We ate breakfast and dinner there twice, almost a third breakfast, but we waited 15 minutes for a server before we got up and left. The gentleman waiter who served us dinner twice went above and beyond for some of the ridiculous requests my 5 year old had, he was a pleasure to interact with. Overall this was a pretty good stay for our family’s 3 day trip to Seattle, I would recommend the hotel for families.

I normally stay at Hilton chains and that's why I went with Garden Inn by Hilton. Location is very convenient and walkable to many attractions. The Front desk staff was very friendly during my stay and even allowed me to check in early. I'll definitely stay there again next time I visit Seattle.

checkin was supposed to be at 4pm. When we arrived at 4:30 they said no rooms were ready. We waited for two hours until 6:30pm to get checked into our room. The front desk was nice about it but we really should have been given a discount for how long we had to wait for a room when our reservation clearly stated checkin at 4pm.

We were booked in a luxury bathroom room 8 months in advance. Paid extra for it. When we checked in we were put in a standard room without telling us. Went to room and noticed it was normal. Went to front desk and asked about it and was told that there is no difference in rooms asked about price diffrence and was told they could not do anything. That a 3rd party over sold rooms happens all the time and thats the room that we get. Without a refund for different room

The hotel itself was nice and the staff were very helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The area around the hotel was a mixed bag. Traffic noise from the intersection of Boren Ave and Howell St was nearly a constant issue. This property is near the edge of the downtown hotel district, and some of the bordering neighborhoods require an extra measure of caution when walking or diving through.

The facility is beautiful, and the staff at desk, security and restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is the quality of food being served. It was subpar. The continental breakfast buffet set up was lovely, but ordering off the menu was a more risky endeavor for other meals. You could do so very much with the menu and make it a destination rather than just another hotel eatery. The truffle fries were (I'm sorry) absolutely disgusting - more like a poutine, and no truffle flavor to be found. The chicken sandwich looked to be nothing more than a frozen breaded chicken filet, smaller than the bun, and the restaurant was out of tomatoes? The breakfast sandwich was so/so, but the days-old potatoes they served with it were hardly even chewable. No, I did not complain to the servers, as I didn't have time to wait for replacements. Just something the property could definitely improve upon. Thanks!

The overall stay was great. The room was great and the kids got the pool to themselves which they loved. The only problem we had was with the restaurant. They are way understaffed so it wasn’t the severs fault but we got barely any service and I didn’t even receive my children’s drink until we got our food and I didn’t even get my drink until we were already done eating. I never complain but I did talk to the front desk lady that was working that night and she was great.

This hotel is very expensive but the amenities have not been updated for the price. The cafe for breakfast was very expensive and only had limited hours, not open all day. We had a long walk for public transportation and staff were not helpful or knowledgeable about transportation except for yellow cab.
