Rooms were simple but clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the firepit at night. Only a 5 minute drive to downtown and has a distillery next door. Will definitely stay here again when in Galena.

I really liked the back yard landscaping ie; fire pit setup. 2 gazebos with 2 outdoor grills each very spacious . I noticed that the pool however was very small . I didnt like being charged double due to an event in the area, especially since the MAIN EVENT didnt even occur due to little wind. GREAT GALENA BALLOON FEST / RACE/ GLOW ?????

I would definitely recommend this place. The staff was friendly and the the room was clean. The pool was open into the evening. Pool floats were also available to use. I will definitely stay again when traveling to Galena.

Great location next to busy road but wasnt too loud. I got placed in room 25 which had two stink bugs crawling on the wall and I couldn't shower or brush my teeth due to sink AND shower water reeking of sulphur and rotton eggs. It made the whole bathroom stink. The lady at front desk was short and not helpful.

I would not stay here again. The price was good and affordable. Buy beds were old and very worn. There were stains on the tile in the bathroom and a broken towel rack. When I checked out to leave I waited more than 20 mins after ringing their bell. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Please save your money and don’t go here.

The room was clean. Had everything they advertised. This is an older model, so keep that in mind. Room was on the back side, very quiet. Air conditioning just barely adequate for the room, although it was very hot, in the upper 90s. Bathroom very small, but it had a good shower. Overall, this place was OK. Price was very reasonable compared to the other places in the area.

I checked in and Ronny at the front desk was helpful and kind. The room was very nostalgic looking but once I saw the potential black mold on the lamp shades and the window that wasn’t fully closed I immediately didn’t want to stay. The bed was also not comfortable and the walls are paper thin. I was there about 20 minutes and went to the desk and said I didn’t want to stay. They did refund me quickly and there was no issue. Sad I couldn’t stay - it’s super cute. Maybe my room was just the dud.

This used to be my favorite low cost place to stay in Galena. However my experience with the front desk person this trip was abysmal. I booked and paid on Expedia, however was confronted and challenged at the front desk upon check in- challenged me that I actually paid. The desk clerk was rude and confrontational. I will never come back.

We chose the property because of the nice looking green area since we were bringing our dog. When we arrived, we were given a room that faced the parking lot and you had to walk all the way around to get to the green area. We asked to switch rooms but was told that since we booked online with Orbitz he wouldn’t help us. We checked out early and went elsewhere. Bed was horribly uncomfortable and no coffee anywhere-not even in the morning.

This property has new owners since the last time I stayed. They are just not as friendly as the previous owner. There was a minor problem when the ice machine wasn't working. They also no longer offer fruit in the lobby. The biggest problem was when the night clerk was going to give another guest the key to our room. I was lucky to be there asking about ice when it happened. They did correct it. They are going to have to up their game if they want to continue to attract guests on something other than just price.

The motel is in a main highway and is very noisy with trucks at night. I went to the vending machine to purchase a chocolate bar, when I opened the package the candy bar was white. I went to the office to let the manager know that the package was old and to try and get my money back but he said he didn't understand. The hair dryer didn't work as well and the office never opened on time to get the complimentary coffee in the morning. The price was the most cost effective but next time I think I will pay a little more.

This was more than I was expecting for a roadside motel! Excellent, friendly service, clean and quiet rooms and facilities, and they accomodated an extra early check in. I would definitely stay here again!

I feel very comfortable here and the people are very friendly and helpful. The things they offer as a family stay is great. I have been here 2 times now and will stay there again on some upcoming trips with family and friends

The location is great --right off the road, outside town, and walking distance to a distillery where we had lovely cocktails. The price was very fair. The room was clean. It is adequate for an older building, could use some new beds.

We love the '70s' drive up motels. So much easier to have vehicle outside door. Quiet...clean. can walk to Blaum distillery next door and back. Room has everything for comfortable overnite stay. Also a kitchen available and laundry if so desired to use. Couple snack machines and fresh coffee ready in am! Wish there were more places like this;)
