This was a one-night layover on our way home from a family trip. Pros: large room with sofabed and large bathroom. Good breakfast options, pool easily accessible, staff very friendly. Parking was easy and close to the lobby. Cons: room did not cool down as much as I'd like. Sofabed not very comfortable, but easy to set up and linnens were prepared. Translucent panel on bathroom door meant going to the bathroom in the night lit up the entire room. Hot and cold breakfast choices but no plain scrambled eggs (had spinach egg cups and hard-boiled eggs).

The only part that I wasn’t happy about, after several days of not needing my room to be cleaned, I asked for a cleaning and a bed change. I was told they do not do daily cleanings on the weekend. Housekeeping brought me bed linens and I had to change my own bed. I already have to do that at home. I don’t want to have to do it when I stay at a hotel too. Also, the pool area could be cleaner and needs more chairs to lay out on. Other than that, everything was good. The reception staff was wonderful. The room was very clean when I checked in. On my day of departure, my plane did not leave until late afternoon, and I was allowed a 2pm check out. That was wonderful and excellent customer service. I will most likely stay here again when we come back next year.

Not the greatest Marriot facility. Awkward space flow at the entrance. Entrance is narrow and at the far side from the parking. The elevators are across the lobby- it was a strange design. The "gym" was pathetic and significantly lacking to qualify as a gym. Breakfast was nothing special. The room itself was great.

We took a gamble and we stayed at a Springhill suites we normally stay at Hilton hotels like home too, and we’ve never really had an issue, but we were very disappointed in this hotel. It was not very clean and it was rundown. Tired looking. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Checking in was efficient and the front desk was very friendly. However, our room was in very bad condition. Our room was very run down and dirty (nothing to do with updating, even though that would hurt. I’m purely talking about the condition of the room). We had to strip our comforter and sheets off because it was dirty (looks like blood stains, Husband said let’s hope it was make up stains). Carpet was torn up all over and walls was are dirty and damaged. Went for a shower to get it all over with and the conditioner was completely out. The air conditioning was running all night making the room so cold, but if we bring it up then it shuts down completely (making the room too stuffy). Breakfast was available but mediocre at best. Orange juice and milk were all out and the food selection was bad. They had a biscuit sausage sandwich and it was falling apart before we were able to get it on out plates. Sandwiches at gas stations can put them to shame.

We had no towels in our room just wash clothes and hand towels. The tub wouldn't drain. Water was leaking out of the wall soaking the floor when the shower was running.

The property was spotless, and the spacious rooms had everything we could possibly need. The front desk representative was incredibly professional and immediately handed us our room keys. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel; the staff truly made our stay enjoyable!

I was very impressed with this hotel, from the moment I walked in it was a great experience. The lobby was super nice and clean, front desk staff was very friendly, and check in was quick and easy. The room was amazing, it was super clean, modern, and was more spacious than expected. Woke up refreshed and ready to go, had some of the awesome breakfast and checked out. I have definitely found my “go-to” home away from home in Mobile!!

My family of four stayed here for the high school state bowling championships and it was everything we needed to be comfortable. Great location to the bowling alley, restaurants, record store, Dave & Busters, and more. The room was spacious with a walk-in closet, private bathroom layout, a small fridge and microwave and small countertop. The queen beds and living area were separated by an office style cubby which was awesome. Even the coffee table was able to be separated into individual tables for eating. We had a great stay.

Everything was fine. I give it a good rating for 3 reasons: 1. We asked for a towel in the lobby and were told it would be brought up to our room, but it never arrived. 2. The shower in room 425 was clogged. 3. The breakfast was terrible, and the person in charge is not up to the task. She's slow and lacks character, and the service left a lot to be desired.

Loved this place. Actually came back and booked a second night. Friendly staff, comfortable and great amenities. Will be staying here again if I have to stay in Mobile. It is a great place to stay if you have to be close to Springhill Memorial Hospital. In walking distance.

First time in Mobile and needed a hotel on our way to Biloxi. This was the perfect location and a very nice hotel! Clean rooms and lobby, all the staff were very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was good and they even had gluten free bread option (Have to ask for it). I would love to see more non-dairy items, such as almond milk or yogurt, for some more option.Beds were also very comfy, and price was great! Highly recommend this place if you need a nice hotel in a safe area. It is just around the corner from Half Shell Oyster House, which is a great place for lunch or dinner!
