Was a very nice hotel ,good location the only issue we had was kids running around the reception area and playing with the lift screaming after 10pm . Would have been nice if the reception staff would contacted their parents

Booked for three adults, king size bed and sofa bed, (not an issue as we’ve done this many times before in other hotels). The sofa bed was awful, you could feel the springs just running your hand over the mattress, laid the duvet underneath but it made no difference. It ended up three of us in the bed, didn’t sleep well as hardly any room! There were only 2 cups and 2 glasses, not enough towels, not equipped for 3 guests which I’d paid the supplement for. Both the bathroom and living area bins didn’t have bin liners in, the bathroom being particularly important I feel for hygiene reasons. The tv picture kept on going green intermittently which was a bit annoying. After eating in the hotel, (starters and mains), we decided to go back to our room and get settled, then order dessert to our room, as advertised it was 24 hour service. There wasn’t any paperwork stating the room service number, reception or anything else, the phone provided had a lot of different buttons but non stating what they were for. I phoned the main hotel number from my mobile (10.30pm) and asked for room service (3 desserts and drinks), to be told they only offer pizza and chips, nothing sweet. I also questioned the payment as when checking in I paid more for the hotel than what I booked for through Hotels.com, they were unsure why this had happened but rectified this for me. Quite disappointed in our stay The positive was that the staff were all friendly
