Lovely room and great shower. A pity that the room was very hot and I had to turn the airconditioning on to cool it down as the was no possibility to open the window. Friendly staff. No possibility to use pool or gym at peak hours as the facilities are a bit small for the size of the hotel

Really nice hotel. Perfect location for the Arena - 10 minute easy walk away. Car park is also very convenient ( park on level 10 as it's direct access to the hotel ) Room was very nice and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

Hotel is in a very convenient location close to the station. Very comfortable rooms, good gym facilities, fantastic breakfast and very friendly staff. The spa facilities can get crowded, so choose your time wisely. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Hotel was in a good location. We did not have robes in our room to use the pool and spa - we had to ask three times for these to be sent up and ended up just using a towel on our first visit to the Spa as we got fed up of waiting. In addition, a plug socket blew up when attempting to charge my phone which, whilst dealt with promptly was an inconvenience. The Spa area was smaller than anticipated, the loungers were too few and they need replacing - there was also a peculiar spell in/around the pool area on one of the visits. The Gin bar was lovely and staff provided great service.

Good stay in a quiet place not far from the center. Nice facility and good restaurant, whether that's for the dinner or the breakfast, the staff was excellent. Room where really spacious. We enjoyed the spa, hot tub and hammam.

Our stay was good hotel was very expensive for breakfast £16.95 pp is extortionate. Room cleanliness was okay bathroom had not seen a mop or sweep very dusty and hairs on floor, main bad point is on the morning not having paid for breakfast we would of liked to be able to buy a drink from the bar but it was not open and not possible to get refreshments.

Lovely modern hotel in central location, short walk from city centre or Quayside. Large, comfortable and well equipped room which was spotlessly clean. Nice pool and leisure facilities with well equipped gym. Excellent breakfast with good choice of food. Great service, all staff were really friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again

The room was a lovely size, and the staff were really friendly. There are a couple of things that were quite a negative. First was the room wasn’t serviced, which we asked for. Then it took two calls to get towels and toilet paper sent up. This is a first for me at any hotel I have been to. Second was witnessing staff being shouted at by management. Makes it a bit awkward for guests. But overall a lovely stay

Check in took over 25 minutes. They only had 1 system working, this was a late check in as well. Stayed for 2 nights, the key stopped working after the first night, they couldn’t do anything about it and just told me to ask someone from reception to come and unlock the door if needed The sink in the bathroom was blocked. The carpet wasnt clean, felt like the cleaners just cleaned on surface and not a proper deep clean you would expect.

We had a 2x double bed bedroom (507), travelling as a family with a 14yr boy and 10yr girl who can't/won't share a bed. I asked for extra bedding and was given a single quilt, so improvised a single bed on the floor using the double quilt from one of the beds... I would so much prefer a room with a double and 2x singles but this seems to be impossible to find in many hotels. Good things: The pool was good (although tiny 19 capacity). We went down once when it was a bit busy, but they called us when we were able to go down to the facilities. Location Breakfast (husband and kids loved the waffles) Room size Separate bath and shower Things that could be improved: Shower pressure Bath plug was really stiff so hard to open/empty. Wasn't properly cleaned (fluff in bath, someone else's hair band on the floor behind the door) The nespresso machine had a piece missing so I had to hold the cup in place the whole time. I reported this on the first morning but it was not resolved..

I recently stayed here for 1 week while visiting friends, the room was really nice, with a huge tv bed was very comfortable. Will definitely be coming again when i vist friends My only issues was, when the ac was on, it would make loud ringing sounds that lasted around 30 seconds

Good location. Railway station, town centre and St Nicholas cathedral in easy walking distance. Staff were charming. Room was clean and comfortable and despite the proximity to the station it was quiet. Nice dining room with a good menu.

Really disappointed with this place! After reading the reviews I thought this was going to be a great choice for my son and partners anniversary. Getting through to the reservations team after 3 attempts on hold took over an hour and then no one came back to the call. I just wanted to upgrade the room as a treat for them but my son had to do that on arrival. The upgrade was to an unsuitable disabled room and the tv didn't work. The upside was they enjoyed the breakfast and the spa area. I'm still waiting for someone to contact me about the issues but my messages are unresponded to. Staff were uninterested & unhelpful so my son did not complain on checking out.

We’ve stayed at this hotel many times. It’s a great location with good facilities. Staff are always very welcoming a check-in. Rooms are well equipped with a fridge in the room. Breakfast service was outstanding with very friendly and checking everything was ok. Great selections and plenty still available 30 mins before finishing. Highly recommend this hotel

Great hotel in a good location. A little slow to get served at the front desk as there was only one member of staff on, but they were helpful. Breakfast - go for the cold options because the cooked was rather stale.

The hotel is located behind the Newcastle railway station and was walkable with luggage, albeit better to come through the underpass to the right as you leave the station to reduce climbs. The hotel was very nice and notwithstanding we came in on a lunchtime train, they had a room available for immediate checkin. Our room was spacious, including a nice bathroom wit( an excellent shower. Breakfast choices were excellent and we enjoyed our breakfasts. Our only minor negative were the staff behind the bar in the Gin Bar who had to be prompted to get service.

Beautiful hotel, well maintained. Breakfast and the staff working during breakfast were great. Slow to clear used plates from tables but they were busy, the hotel would benefit from hiring more breakfast staff to take the pressure off. Room spacious and clean with wonderful bathroom. Complimentary water was appreciated. Pool area was small but clean and lovely to use. Really enjoyed the stay.

Staff super, food quite overpriced - so many other restaurants around for cheaper, we paid more in hotel for a 3 course fixed menu than 3 courses with wine in Gino D'Campos. Good location 5 mins walk from rail station. Nice shower.

staff were helpful and polite, the room was comfortable we stayed in a crown plaza pre lockdown and the breakfast was easily the best We'd had in a long time in a hotel, since lockdown we've stayed in a crown plaza twice,Newcastle being the 2nd time and on both occasions the breakfast has been bang average eg in the quality of the ingredients, Sausage, black pudding and the kippers.

The hotel & room was nice but the Service let it down. Service at the gin bar was slow as the staff were all chatting amongst themselves plus the couldn’t do the cocktail I wanted from the menu. Breakfast service was poor as they had run out of most hot items and bread for toast and it took a while to replenish these. We weren’t offered a menu to choose the vegetarian options that were apparently available so did without

Pleasant stay but a few things could do with improvement. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming the room was a good size and clean. But our drinking water wasn't replenished for our second night. The major downside was breakfast. The breakfast room was too small for peak demand resulting in queues. Food quality was a bit mixed.
