High Paradise Farm aptly named as this place is truly magical. I loved the individual character of my room which had all amenities to make it a truly comfortable and relaxing stay. Well stocked kitchenette, lovely big bathroom and very comfortable bed. I particularly valued the privacy this place offered. Ginny (one of the owners) was around and extremely helpful and friendly. I love the ethos of this place and will definitely return come rain or shine.

Gorgeous setting, cute little courtyard, the owners dogs are roaming around and are defo a highlight!! We stayed in the Corn Store which was sooo cute, little roll top bath upstairs, gorgeous original features. The only thing that let it down for me was soooo many spiders which just comes with the age of the building I guess. But it got to the point where… let’s say… I found an alternative way to go for a wee which involved the outdoors simply to avoid the EIGHT spiders in the bathroom 😭 if you’re an arachnophobic this isn’t the place for you to stay 😂

We recently stayed at your farm on the 31st December Whilst we loved the location and easy check in, we arrived at just gone 5pm and were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, we do not think it had been cleaned at all since the last guests and likely longer than that. In usual cases we would have let someone know, but as the cleanliness was several major things and not a quick fix, we didn’t want to ruin New years eve by not having a room and a staff member having to come do what was likely several hours worth of cleaning. We of course did not expect perfection from a rustic farm and expected some cobwebs etc, but there were thick cobwebs everywhere. There were dead flies in the room, hairs on the countertops and on the kettle, scum and black mould all over the shower and sink, the floor was not hoovered and it was just generally very unclean and unloved. Again we would not expect perfection, but at £155 a night it isn’t exactly a budget room, and would have thought that cleanliness would have been the bare minimum.
