Room was clean but no spotless. Breakfast fantastic, they even checked to see if there were any gluten free sausages. Which there was. Evening meal was also delicious. Lamb shank for gluten free me. Hubby had ox cheek and ale pie, superb. They even had gluten free larger on draft. Lovely staff, beautiful setting, great break all round.

Setting was idylic, bar area was cosy and warm especially when log fire was burning. Staff very welcoming and charming. Restuarant lovely and food excellent, limited menu but prepared fresh. Rooms very quaint, little one bedroom cottage, lounge area downstairs with Tv and upstairs a bedroom and bathroom with large bath and powerful shower. Will certainly return

Spotless rooms, warm welcome, good food. Traditional English pub atmosphere - log fire, good beer/wine, relaxed.
