AMAZING hotel experience!! An absolute highlight of my trip!!! I stayed with a friend in an “authentic” room with two twin beds. The beds were SO comfortable and the room was perfectly clean. I was worried about the “shared bathroom” situation, but there were 6 bathrooms that locked, so once inside, it was private with huge shower, great water pressure, and amazing spa-quality soaps! The “silent breakfast” is worth adding to your stay: the food is delicious, healthy, varied, high-quality, and a peaceful way to start your day! The hotel is close to everything: exit out the back door and you’re half a block off Rue Saint-Jean with all its shops and restaurants. DEFINITELY take the historical tour of the monastery (one hour, offered daily, free with your stay). So fascinating, and made the experience even more special. We stayed here two nights at the beginning of our trip before traveling north, then returned to Quebec City and stayed in a different hotel—I regret not returning to the monastery for that final night of our trip. SUCH a special hotel, I’d absolutely return and recommend it to anyone traveling to Quebec City!!!

Unique property. Very central location but still very quiet. The 2 exits make it convenient whether you want to go to the St Jean st, or to the port and Little Champlain area. I would definitely return to this hotel. We stayed in the contemporary rooms as we like modern amenities. No TV in room, which is totally fine for us. It is a hotel where you can relax and de-stress.
