I called well before we arrived because I knew the window for checking in at the desk would close before we arrived. I was told I could go to the bar to check in. I went to the bar just after 8 p.m. and had to ask three people before I got to someone who could help. We checked in, got our parking pass, and went to dinner. When we came back, the parking lot was full so we parked on the street about a block away and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, our free parking turned into a parking ticket. We thought we were in an okay place but apparently there is an ordinance requiring 4 feet clearance from driveways and alleys. Lesson learned. When we checked out, I asked if there were normally sufficient parking places for all guest rooms. We were told that if there isn't a spot, we should have double-parked and left our key with the bartender, who would then valet our car into a spot when the bar patrons departed. Given the challenges of getting the right person to check us in, I'm not sure how that would have worked even if we had known that was the process. We chose this place in part for the parking and it ended up being more expensive than if we had had to pay for parking. It's nice enough but given that its main appeals were price, location, and free parking, we'll probably look elsewhere for our next visit.

The rooms were very clean. Location was great. It was nice to have a pub/restaurant in the same building. We would definitely stay here again while in town.
