Very clean. Easy checkin. Parking is great and free. Rooms look like they have new carpeting. Equipped with stove top, microwave, fridge ( large size) and sink with cabinets. Slept well and I don’t always since I have back issues.

No ice machine on the property. Ice maker in the freezer produced 5 ice cubes. Toaster worked. You need to bring your own pots and pans, silverware, etc for cooking. Full fridge that works. Comfortable beds. Wind noise could be heard all night . Walmart supercenter 1 mile away.

Front desk staff was friendly. Room was immaculate. No dust in the corners of the bathroom. Plenty of towels. Bed was comfortable and pillows were sufficient. No breakfast provided - only coffee, but we planned to eat out. The room was comfortable and would have been great for a long stay. The kitchenette was nice. I highly recommend.

Loved having a full size refrigerator and a freezer that made ice! Having a kitchen to use if we would have wanted to was also nice. Room was clean and room smelt good. Only reason we are not giving it a full 5 stars is because the beds were uncomfortable.

TV was blurry. Told by staff it was an issue with mediacom. Fridge icemaker wasnt working. Dirt on floors of hallways and stairs from all the road crews staying there.

This is our first stay at a My Place Hotel. We were very pleased with the room. It was spacious and had a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator. We bring food on our road trips so we always need a fridge. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We would definitely stay here or in another My Place Hotel in the future.

Price was the best in town, the room was clean and quiet. If we were staying for several days, it would have been something we would consider as they had a decent kitchenette option and small apartment feel. Bed was comfortable, all linens were clean. Only things we didn’t care for was that the TV did not work- said an antenna issue. Not the end of the world but we didn’t get the feel it would have been fixed quick anyways.There also was a breakfast option but there were no hot foods, just more quick cereals and such. Overall, a great option for a weekend in Brookings and would stay again.

You get what you pay for. Lots of noise from both upstairs and next door. TV never worked it always said “weak signal.” Staff was nice and hotel was clean. For the price about what you would expect.

Went to check in at 3pm and 2 of our 3 rooms were not even ready. Check in time was 3pm. Those rooms should have been ready. Checkout is at 11am. More staff should be added to ensure that rooms are ready for checkin AT check in time. We had a wedding at 4pm and we were parents of the bride. We had to slip away to get checked into our rooms and still couldn’t get our stuff dropped in the rooms because they were not ready. Rooms were nice but the inconvenience of check in really left a sour taste in our mouth.

I was told that my rate would be $179,53 per night and when I checked in my one night stay was $254 and when I asked why the rate change I was told they have to right fluctuate their rates whenever they want. They also have fridges with ice machines in the room but our ice machine didn't work and when I asked they said oh well ypu were supposed to turn the ice machine on. Well why not tell us that ar check in.

Stayed at this hotel because we were attending a concert very close to the hotel. It was perfect for the concert. I have stayed at this hotel and it is always been fine with me. It close to a good restaurant and in a convenient to most of Brookings.

Friendly staff, comfy bed, nice kitchenette. Was quite surprised that, while we paid for two nights, we had to purchase a coffee packet for our coffee maker for the second morning. Very convenient right by the highway.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet and check in was easy with friendly service. Convenient to walk over to the Dacotah Bank Center and back. Also enjoyed that there was a restaurant next door so could park and walk to that as well.

I will stay here again. Staff was friendly. Clean and quiet for a good price. Bed was comfy but pillows were lumpy (memory foam and filling). Great price. No breakfast (but you can order it).

It was all great but major disappointment that you don’t serve breakfast! Then to say you serve breakfast in bed is a joke when it’s frozen food that you heat up in a microwave
