The room had what you needed for a night, but my room only had parking out under a gum tree and had flood water around it making it awkward to get in and load the car. 3 rooms don't have a parking spot undercover. The bathroom leaked badly through the vent. Our other room was ok.

Hôtel dont les chambres sont très correctes. L'hôtel a un pub et un restaurant ,il y a un grand bottle shop juste en face ainsi qu'un Mac Donald. C'est calme ,la literie est bonne, il y a la climatisation ,on peut se garer gratuitement devant notre chambre. C'est la 2eme fois qu'on vient ici ! On reviendra !

We stayed 5 nights and the Salisbury Hotel suited our needs perfectly. We were playing sport each day so to have the bistro/restaurant on site was a bigger winner for us. Would highly recommend staying here.

Checked in around 6pm was a little difficult finding where I had to check in but after that everything was smooth and staff member who checked me in was very friendly & helpful, room was very clean, easily accessible, quiet, backed onto Toohey Forest cliff face - grounds and surrounds were/are immaculate even adjoining the forest, air-con was on when I opened the door which was a pleasant surprise (long warm day) not sure if that was intended or accidental, great for a 1, 2 or 3 night stay if your just passing through or on a business trip - it is a motel room not a resort however adjoining pub has a sports bar and bistro (nice food) bottle shop and 7-11 in walking distance

Checked in around 6pm was a little difficult finding where I had to check in but after that everything was smooth and staff member who checked me in was very friendly & helpful, room was very clean, easily accessible, quiet, backed onto Toohey Forest cliff face - grounds and surrounds were/are immaculate even adjoining the forest, air-con was on when I opened the door which was a pleasant surprise (long warm day) not sure if that was intended or accidental, great for a 1, 2 or 3 night stay if your just passing through or on a business trip - it is a motel room not a resort however adjoining pub has a sports bar and bistro (nice food) bottle shop and 7-11 in walking distance

Room floor was stains on the floor i rang earlier in the day for a late check in asked about dinner since we would be late got told yep u can get room service to get told when i got there no food kitchen is closed wont be staying or recommending this place to anyone

This is a great motel attached to a great pub. While a typical motel style plan, the rooms were recently renovated in entirety, comfortably furnished, and perfectly clean. Furniture was comfy and near new. They are located in a position well buffeted from any pub noise, which was minimal on our Friday PM even from the front of the property. Did not eat there, but food was well spoken of by friendly, local patrons while a talented soloist played good, not so loud music. Handy to other shops and take away. Room rates most affordable. I highly recommend.

Small accommodation where is much room for improvement. Mattress was old. No hooks in bathroom. Small critters walk through as the door to the room doesn’t fit, shower head was to low. Bathroom door opened by itself. Spiders in room etc.

For $130 a night, we thought this room was really great, newish bathroom - with toiletries if you wished, plenty of tea and coffee and milk and even cereal for breakfast- and biscuits and chocolates. Wow unheard of in these days! However, the outside night lights are VERY bright, and, on all night, they are more or less above the door and the pull-down blind did not stop the light from coming in. Other than that, we were very surprised at the quality of the room. We would go back

The hotel was good, comfortable for a short stay where I came back to essentially sleep. The facilitates are a little dated and it’s very noisy at night with people coming and going, poor noise installation. A great bonus is that the rooms are made up daily, which was wonderful. Overall a comfortable short stay accomodation.

Overall 5 stars for 1 night solo stay. First hotel I've been to where they take your license and credit card details upon check in but everything else was good. Clean room, bit of cereal and tea for breakfast, water bottle in the fridge and could check in till midnight and checked out at 11am. Only issue was the blinds in the room didnt cover the whole window, like a few cm's of it, but if the windows were tinted then it wouldnt matter, and I forgot to check if it was tinted or not.

Accommodation at the Salisbury Hotel was excellent and very good value for money. I stayed overnight on a Tuesday whilst visiting family in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. I was able to park my car directly outside my front door and the room was really clean and comfortable plus super quiet. There was no noise from the main road as the accommodation (Room 15 in my case) is at the rear of the complex facing some nice bushland and there is also no noise from the hotel. The direct vicinity around the rooms is well lit, so I felt safe walking back to my room after dinner. There is a good affordable restaurant onsite within the hotel but also a McDonalds, Subway and other eateries virtually metres away, including a 7 Eleven within a short walking distance (which was handy for petrol and snacks). What I particularly liked about the Salisbury was the extra little thoughtful things in the room (eg, heaps of powerpoints for charging electronics, a good supply of toiletries, cereal packets for breakfast, a generous supply of coffee, tea and sugar, plus 2 long life milks in the fridge). Thank you Salisbury Hotel - it was the perfect short stay.

It’s a little dated, the rooms are a little small and the mattress we were on clearly needed an upgrade, but having said that it was clean and great value for money. It is quiet with good amenities, the restaurant and sports bar attached was good with a good atmosphere, breakfast options were limited with a cafe across the road (which by them way had great avocado on sour dough) or Maccas is literally 30 seconds away. All the staff were very pleasant and accommodating - I would stay here again.

Property was nicely cleaned everyday which was the highlight of my stay. The cleaners did a fantastic job. Uncomfortable bed. A little rundown and the staff were least friendly. Would only recommend out of necessity.

The staff were fabulous and were really helpful. We had a family celebration in one of their function rooms and the staff were so helpful. We also had 3 rooms booked and we could find no fault with them. Absolutely would stay again

Inside the unit is fantastic like any 4 or even 4 .5 star hotel unfortunately it’s still a1960s style motel in a industrial area of Brisbane it’s more suited to travelling work people all the units are in a quiet area of the complex which did set some security alarm’s ringing in my head for my car outside the unit and no additional door security. An unexpected gem - quiet, state park behind the accommodation was a lovely bonus, short walk to Maccas for a light breakfast, fuel station 200m away, easy trip to Nissan Arena. Definitely stay here again.

Accommodation at the Salisbury Hotel was excellent and very good value for money. I stayed overnight on a Tuesday whilst visiting family in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. I was able to park my car directly outside my front door and the room was really clean and comfortable plus super quiet. There was no noise from the main road as the accommodation (Room 15 in my case) is at the rear of the complex facing some nice bushland and there is also no noise from the hotel. The direct vicinity around the rooms is well lit, so I felt safe walking back to my room after dinner. There is a good affordable restaurant onsite within the hotel but also a McDonalds, Subway and other eateries virtually metres away, including a 7 Eleven within a short walking distance (which was handy for petrol and snacks). We stayed 5 nights and the Salisbury Hotel suited our needs perfectly. We were playing sport each day so to have the bistro/restaurant on site was a bigger winner for us. Would highly recommend staying here.

Checked in around 6pm was a little difficult finding where I had to check in but after that everything was smooth and staff member who checked me in was very friendly & helpful, room was very clean, easily accessible, quiet, backed onto Toohey Forest cliff face - grounds and surrounds were/are immaculate even adjoining the forest, air-con was on when I opened the door which was a pleasant surprise (long warm day) not sure if that was intended or accidental, great for a 1, 2 or 3 night stay if your just passing through or on a business trip - it is a motel room not a resort however adjoining pub has a sports bar and bistro (nice food) bottle shop and 7-11 in walking distance

Room floor was stains on the floor i rang earlier in the day for a late check in asked about dinner since we would be late got told yep u can get room service to get told when i got there no food kitchen is closed wont be staying or recommending this place to anyone
