Goodmore Hotel

Due to pandemic the hotel no longer provide breakfast and no washer, dryer available for guests to use. Also they only clean your room once a week.

The hotel has very friendly reception staff, and the rooms are clean and updated. The micro-rooms are definitely small (as I expected), but are comfortable and have big bathrooms. Having a small business area on the 7th floor with snacks, and coffee was a pleasant addition. I would suggest that a water machine is installed at reception. I don't like to drink bottled water (for environmental reasons), and the business area's machine is only open from 7:00-21:30. The hotel is near Da'an Park, NTU university, Shida Night Market, and lots of restaurants and cafes. The public transportation options are also very good.

As always, I enjoyed my stay. The standards remain high and the small things like a small Business Centre with coffee (real coffee machine), snacks, a recycle bin in the foyer, and attentive staff give it a welcoming feel!

My second time staying here, and I was perfectly happy since I was a solo traveler. Rooms are small and my room (double twin) didn't have a closet... just hooks and hangers on the wall. But it did have good wifi, quality linens, modern bathroom, a safe, and a small fridge. Staff are friendly and there are complimentary snacks and beverages in the lounge. A small Carrefour supermarket is literally next door. Overall, an excellent value and a great location near Shida and Da'an Forest Park, though it's a 10-12 min walk to the nearest metro (Guting or Dongmen stations); fortunately there are tons of bus stops within 50 meters.

As always, the Goodmore is one of my favorite hotels in Taipei. It’s close to Da’an Park, cafes, and restaurants. It’s clean, friendly, and has small perks like a well-stocked snack and coffee area.

I'm generally satisfied, but I have two complaints. I chose this hotel because the reviews stated there was a washing machine on the second floor, but today, May 2024, there is no washing machine. The wifi speed is extremely slow at night, making it impossible to watch videos sometimes .

This is a small hotel with one small elevator but it's working fine.

Elevator is very slow

Room was OK and clean. Not very close to subway station but there were bus stops nearby. I like the small business center at the 7/F that offered free snack and freshly brewed coffee. Coffee was very nice.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The facility is NOT what I expected for the price (173.58 USD/night). The entrance of the building, front desk area, elevators, hallways, and room floor were old and dirty-looking. The bathroom shower and sink were clean, but there was no water for the shower before 7 p.m. This place is like a youth hostel rather than a business hotel.

Room is very small. Comfortable beds. Clean washroom. Nice location

창문없고 실내공기가 조금 갑갑한 부분은 아쉽습니다. 공기청정기 있지만 별개의 문제입니다. 그렇지만 그 외부분은 만족이에요

Bed/ mattress for single room is too hard

如果選擇獨遊，迷你細房真係唔得，隔音差可以聽到隔離房水聲，而且是劏了一半空間俾隔離房做床，整體而言如果選擇就要雙人床房，交通方面位於兩捷運站中間，優勢是樓下有家樂福，員工服務態度良好

Room is very small. Although it is close to some convenience stores and the night market,it is very far away from the major transit stations. Bathroom is also a bit too tiny.

No-frills - S imple, clean and affordable accomodations.Conveniet location next to Shida Univ. and Carrefour market and is a clsoe walk to the Yonkang torusit street. The main gripe would be the lack of soundproofing on the old windows especially when facing a noisy street.

永康街から近いことが一番良いです。周りに飲食店も多く、すぐ隣にスーパーもあります。 ただ、大通りに面しているので交通量が激しくうるさいです。夜も比較的遅くまで車の通る音が結構聞こえるので、気になる人は注意が必要です。

As always, I enjoy staying at the Goodmore. Staff are friendly, amenities are maintained, and the area is convenient.

Reception staff was friendly, helpful and responsive to enquiries.

I booked this hotel because of its very close proximity to where I needed to be. In a city full of kind accommodating people, this place stood out as the complete opposite.. It started with a simple request to separate the bed into 2 singles (the double bed was just 2 single beds joined together). It was late 7pm, so I said I would separate the bed if they can give me an extra blanket and a pillow. First they acted like they didn’t understand my request and then said it can’t be done and when I asked for a different room they said it can’t be done, then lectured me that I should have requested it earlier and they would do it for me. They finally obliged with blanket and pillow but didn’t mention that I needed sheets too. When I asked the next morning for them to separate it for me (due to no sheets), they gave me attitude and said they won’t. When I came back for the day, another staff member said they did it but it would have been a different charge if I had booked 2 singles (ok, so why didn’t they just say it when I first asked). After that, I had to walk pass the grumpy staff every day for the rest of the week which was extremely uncomfortable and not what you want or expect on vacation. At the end of the stay, I accidentally left a gourmet food gift box in the fridge and asked if anyone had found it. It was obviously in there and they said no. I asked if someone can check the room and they said someone has already moved in to the room. Couldn’t wait to get out of there!

Very conveniently located close to NTNU. Staff can speak English . Check in and out was easy. Good communication by email prior to the stay.

娘の卒業式のため、訪台しました。 ベッドも広く、スタッフの方たちも 毎回、あいさつもしてもらい、 よかったです。 また、機会があれば、このホテルを利用したいです。

As always, the Goodmore is one of my favorite hotels in Taipei. It’s close to Da’an Park, cafes, and restaurants. It’s clean, friendly, and has small perks like a well-stocked snack and coffee area.

Outstanding staff, I mean OUTSTANDING

Convenient transportation, easy to reach, close to the city, and reasonable price

This hotel is in a safe area. There is a 24-hr supermarket and a police station next to it. It's close to the Shiida night market and Shiida University. The walk to MRT station is about 10 min. Room space is more than adequate at this price point. Wish the bathroom had more hangers for towels and the mattress can be softer. We enjoyed our stay at Goodmore.

何回か宿泊しています。 最寄り駅から遠いですが、スーパーが隣にありますし、 観光地の永康街も近く、飲食店も多いのでこの周辺に宿泊しても楽しめます。 環境に配慮して最近いくつかアメニティが撤去されましたが、 ミニ石鹸は継続してほしかった。。。

師範大学への短期留学で利用しました。大学までは歩いて3分という近さだったので便利でした。隣接するカルフール（スーパーマーケット）で朝食を買ったりできました。

ホテル全体、アロマなのか良い香りに包まれてます。 下がスーパーなので買い物も便利だし、夜市も近いです。 このエリアは日本人少ないかなと思ってましたが、女性グループで観光してる人が多く見られました。

Area close walking distance to Da’an park and Yong Kang Street. Be prepare to Uber, MRT to other sites in Taipei. It’s 2.5 miles to Taipei 101 Wi-Fi. tv, clean room. Efficient size.

エコノミーシングルは、宿泊にホテルに戻るだけの私の用途では全く問題なく、周囲の環境の良さもお気に入りです。ただ、MRT駅からは少し距離があります，バスを乗りこなせればそれもマイナスでは無い。

By western standards the room is very small and the bathroom clear glass walls were a bit surprising but the curtain in front of the bathroom wall worked and everything was fine. This is a no frills hotel but for the one night it worked. It was a short walk to a small night market that was great. In the morning there were several choices for breakfast including Starbucks and several restaurants. Staff was friendly and spoke enough English to help us get through check in and check out with only English speakers in our party. The one problem was locating the hotel as it doesn’t come up correctly on google maps. We showed the driver the address at the airport and we’re dropped off miles away from the hotel. We had to get a second Uber and just used the name of the hotel and not the address and he drove to the front door. Not really the hotels problem but will use the name and not the address next time.
