Great location, comfortable beds and nice views. Gym Needs improvement, Out of the 3 running machines 2 were out of service and the only one working has the running belt broken. Pool is under renovations so they offer use the other hotel pool in case you want to. Place is clean and well kept.

The location of the hotel was perfect and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was only short Uber ride into San Jose to visit the museums. We enjoyed the numerous coffee, shops and restaurants in the neighborhood around the hotel. We only at the hotel when we arrived, We found it expensive for what we had to eat. After a day out of exploring, it was great to go have a sauna in the gym. The rooftop pool area was relaxing place to hang out in either the sun or shade.

Very well located, easy access to good restaurants and the park. The rooms were great, restaurant was amazing. Breakfast was incredible. Employees were very friendly and the gym was very good. Only down point was the pool that was still on maintenance. Would’ve been good to enjoy the pool in the hot days of San Jose.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful, the property, the hotel and especially the staff. However, we picked the hotel for the outside pool and this was being repaired, therefore no pool. We really wanted the outside to be able to chill as we had been travelling around Costa Rica, and this was picked for the pool, but the staff went over and above to set up loungers, a table and chairs which was amazing. But would have appreciated Expedia advising us of this beforehand.

rooms have no fresh air unfortunately, windows cant be open and the air inside the rooms is very old never circulated with fresh so I am not sure if I wanted to stay there for the money that I pay. I noticed as the economy gets worse all those big chain hotels, big brand names like Hilton, Sheraton, Intercontinental etc they started not to correspond to their stars and popularity and no name hotels or not popular one with same star rating give you better price and better accommodation and I started shifting slowly to those hotels. Earlier I only used to stay in the big chain hotels but today its not worth the money.

The room was clean but AC didn’t work the water pressure was horrible. We always pick a Hilton hotel when we travel and in USA Hilton hotels are great but this one in Costa Rica was like a 2 star hotel it was pretty but no bathrooms in the pool area no ice machines on every floor make sure you take extra time to get ready in the morning since the water pressure to take a shower is horrible the water temperature regulates it self so get ready for extremely hot water and then cold water when taking a shower I will never stay in that hotel again
