Great location near many fine restaurants and bars. Close to the baseball stadium and very good value. Excellent breakfast is offered. Nice bar/restaurant on site with sidewalk seating. Will stay again. Front desk and valet members were excellent!

The hotel has a great little restaurant who accommodated my dietary needs and had nice outdoor seating and live music. The lobby had a pool table and quick service food option also. Our room was secure as you needed a key card on the elevator. It was quiet and clean. It was a 2 block or so walk to the Yum and a parking garage right across the street.

Great property to stay at, nice lobby area with games like Jenga and Foosball, rooms are nice with plenty of water pressure in the shower! Just be aware that parking is an extra cost. I paid $22 per night at the public parking ramp across the street.

Always love staying here. The staff is friendly and helpful. I always bring my dog and they are very accommodating. The space down in lobby is fun to hang out. It is within walking distance of lots of good food. The parking garage across the street is great for parking. Pay Aloft the $32 for parking. It lasts 24hrs and they send you a QR code to get in and out.

Clean and updated hotel. Service is more serve yourself, but very friendly staff. Parking is a bit pricey, but close and restaurant in lobby is excellent. Location right on whiskey row is convenient, but also noisy if that bothers you. Don't expect a view or ton of amenities, but location, cleanliness, and staff were all excellent.

The lobby looked nice, but there were open cardboard boxes stacked in the lobby area. Some of the chairs near the Refuel snack area had filthy upholstery. The room had a cracked pane of glass between the shower and bed area. Couldnt get cold water out of the sink tap. Room would have been better with a small microwave. Maybe get some duvet covers instead of wrapping a flat sheet on top of it. Pillows were comfy. Shower was roomy. AC was nice and cold.

Extremely disappointed in our stay at this hotel. I booked 2 rooms for a trip with friends and both rooms had issues. For one, the air conditioning units in both rooms were inconsistent and woke us up multiple times with temps between 65-75 despite being set to 68. Also, our room had no shampoo and our friends had no toilet paper or body wash (communal style soaps). It took over an hour to get those delivered. As far as cleanliness, there was a used lotion bottle in our room (set on the counter for us) and mildew in the shower. It also appeared they used queen sized bedding on a king sized bed as the corners would not stay and kept coming off exposing the mattress underneath. The only benefit to this hotel is the location. When coming back to Louisville, I would not stay, nor would I recommend anyone stay at this hotel.

The staff was amazing. The lobby had a lot of games and a pool table. The bar/restaurant have a great view to watch cars cruising by and a band played one night. Room was very clean and well maintained

Very comfortable and clean. The staff went above and beyond. The bathroom lacked shelving in the shower for your personal items plus there was nowhere to hang a wash cloth or hand towel by the sink. The view out of our window was the back of an old brick building. We kept the shades down.

Shower need a shelf to put your stuff on. There needs to be shelves to put folded clothes on. The room is small. Bathroom sink too small. Great location! Very hip. Nice bar/club in the lobby. The BEST shower water pressure I’ve ever had.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. The room was a little warm in the evening and thermostat would not drop under 70 so sleeping was a little uncomfortable. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and we loved the room.

Wonderful, friendly staff! Very nice room. Comfy bed. The thermostat wasn't the best. If we turned the temperature from 68 to 69 we could feel hot air blasting through the room until it was super hot in the room. We then had to turn the temp to 65 just to cool the room off a bit. We visited in late May to early June so hot air was not welcome. Adjusting the thermostat to a nice temperature was difficult.

The room was nicely situated and it was quiet from outside noise. BUT the A/C was horribly loud! Sleep did not come easily even with ear plugs. The entry into the room is dark and the light switches are weird. You have one master switch and heck if it didn't take us at least 1/2 hour to figure it out. Would be nice to have directions.

Love the rooms and how they are set up with big bath room behind the licing area. Tv in middle of bed with windows on both sides... been thw a few dozen times and wiĺ always no back especially when we are at the yum center or the comedy shows there love it.

The staff was amazing and the proximity to the KFC YUM Center was nice. The room was a little strange. The bathroom door wouldn't close all the way, which is problematic with more than one guest. The lights were odd. The bathroom light also illuminated the vanity area which was half the room.

Best part of the stay was the staff at the front desk especially Kevin and kim they made sure that all of our needs were met always greeted us with a smile, and were always helpful in finding restaurants or shopping or activities. In all my years of traveling. I have never met a kinder and more caring staff room was beautiful very quiet and very clean best hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The hotel is very good; we’ve stayed there before. The front staff and bartenders were great. Housekeeping really dropped the ball this time around. It would have been helpful to know that they only come every other day. We called the desk asking for coffee to be sent up when we saw they had not come, so we could have some before our shower. At the same time we asked for 1 extra towel (they only provided 2). We received these with no problem. We did not have a soap dish, so we used a to go coffee lid. Housekeeping did come that second day and when we returned late that night, we found they had thrown away the only soap we had for the sink, taken our extra towel and did not replenish the coffee. We called the front desk and asked again for an extra towel and a new soap bar, letting go of the coffee issue. When they hadn’t come by midnight, we called again and asked if it could be left outside the door. In the morning, we had 4soap bars, and 4 bath mat towels. At this point we thought calling and complaining pointless. The next day it was scheduled, housekeeping did not seem to come. Bed not made and room did not seem to be cleaned. However, they had been in and took all of our towels again only leaving us with two. We did not even bother to call front desk. We made do with what we had. Coffee in room was never replenished so we had to go to lobby each morning instead of the convenience of making it in the room.

I was double charged for my room. I’ve been staying there for four days with no extra money and only coupons to eat at their facility for food. I should never have been double charged on my credit card and I feel that it was no accommodations. I should’ve been given some type of discount on my room or my stay, it is now four days later and I still do not have the funds returned back into my bank account

The staff at this location are hospitable and accomodating. The receptionist that greeted me was thorough when explaining the amenities. The receptionists were light-hearted and warm upon check out. I highly recommended Aloft downtown as a General Manager in the Hospitality Industry for over 12 years!

We scored last minute tickets to see Matt Rife for New Years next door at the comedy club and I was able to book here last minute and the staff was amazing and it felt very safe and all of things around us were closed for the holidays and the hotel provided a lobby full of entertainment

Enjoyed our stay. It was in a prime location within walking distance from most things we visited. Clean. Accommodating. Loved it bring pet friendly. The fur guests were the best. Unfortunately, being on Main Street, we experienced unpleasantly LOUD road noise until 1230am our last night.

We were in town for a concert at the KFC Yum Center and the proximity could not have been better. Great, easy parking across the street ($30), good places for food and drink right outside the front door and we walked the 2 minutes to the concert. We did nothing but sleep in the room but the bed was comfortable and everything felt and looked clean. Welcoming staff. Would absolutely stay again.

Needs a lot of improvement. Location is great. Breakfast is totally unacceptable, coffee machine not working, few sandwiches that pretty much served to go style. Water sold warm, cooler isn’t working. Room itself is good but needs improvement. Bathroom door does not close all the way offering zero privacy, safe isn’t working, no soap dish. Hotel has potential to be a lot better if properly maintained

Aloft is a good hotel and some okay service. You are given a QR code to order from the downstairs breakfast restaurant. While ordering, it asks for your room number and states “let us know what room your in and we can call your room to let you know your order is ready”. We just ordered 2 cappuccino’s and waited for 30 minutes. I went down stairs and found out.. I have to make my own cappuccino using their machine. Just confusing honestly

The room was great as was the location. We were there 2 nights and housekeeping never came. There was a great selection of bourbon at the bar even if it was a bit expensive and the pours kind of small. Last, Saturday night in the lobby, they were blasting beat music all night that made it pretty hard to stay and have some drinks. Lots of people, including people that worked that, we complaining.
