We had an absolute fabulous time, we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. All the staff are very frendly and the service is excellent. Food is fantastic and a great selection of beers, I would highly recommend and will be staying again if I am in the area.

This small country inn was situated nearly by itself. It had an "olde" vibe with cosy pub that came to life with locals in the early evening, quaint short doorways etc. The Included breakfast was varied (eggs benny with smoked salmon, and yogurt with granola for example). The very small restaurant also provided a nice dinner. Bed and bath were comfortable. Some of the decor was a bit tired looking (bed throw in particular) but all in all it was a good place to stay.

Idyllic location, pub full of character and friendly staff/locals (and dogs!). Food in the restaurant was great, very tasty and reasonably priced. Prompt service too. Stayed one night in a King en-suite room and was like home from home. Bed really comfy and had a great nights sleep. Nice touch of having the radio on in the room when I arrived, too - little touches like that were appreciated. Lovely to meet the owners too, an all round fabulous place to eat/drink and stay!

The room was ok but the restaurant was very expensive so decided to eat somewhere else. Extremely disappointed that breakfast was served from 8.30 to 9.30. When on business, I need to be out and away by 8.30. A clever way of avoiding cooking breakfast for travellers. Not impressed as I went the whole day without anything.

On arrival greeted by very pleasant young lady. We had traveled a long distance(240 miles) and we were looking forward to sitting down for an evening meal.We were informed that there was not any food Monday or Tuesday in the evening this is not stated on the website so we had to travel for food. Breakfast is 8.30 u till 9.30 so got down for breakfast to be told that the chef had not turned up said chef lives at the top of the building so no hot breakfast, a different young lady also very nice and embarrassed made hot drinks and toast.The staff we came into contact with were very pleasant and tried their best with no management. We had back to back appointments from 10.00 so didn’t get food until 3.30 so Breakfast was an important part when booking

An incredibly enjoyable experience. The staff was overwhelmingly friendly and made us feel welcome the second we walked in. The place had an incredible atmosphere felt cozy, and historic, and all the meals we had there were just perfect! It felt like home away from home… But even better!

On arrival greeted by very pleasant young lady. We had traveled a long distance(240 miles) and we were looking forward to sitting down for an evening meal.We were informed that there was not any food Monday or Tuesday in the evening this is not stated on the website so we had to travel for food. Breakfast is 8.30 u till 9.30 so got down for breakfast to be told that the chef had not turned up said chef lives at the top of the building so no hot breakfast, a different young lady also very nice and embarrassed made hot drinks and toast.The staff we came into contact with were very pleasant and tried their best with no management. We had back to back appointments from 10.00 so didn’t get food until 3.30 so Breakfast was an important part when booking

Wonderful stay with exceptional hosts! The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. The stairs up were a bit rough. Excellent customer service, delicious breakfast, nice pub, but the highlight was the dining. The food was absolutely delicious - SO glad we chose to dine there with our large family group. Beautiful gardens out front with outdoor dining, parking on site, and bus stop just across the street into town. Would stay there again and recommend!

The room was ok but the restaurant was very expensive so decided to eat somewhere else. Extremely disappointed that breakfast was served from 8.30 to 9.30. When on business, I need to be out and away by 8.30. A clever way of avoiding cooking breakfast for travellers. Not impressed as I went the whole day without anything.

Very lovely pub with rooms above. The friendly staff and dog made the experience great. Beautiful scenery from the windows. Sourdough toast at breakfast was delicious. You can hear underneath your room but this is an old building, it’s very valid. The entry way into the room and bathroom can be quite low so if you’re above 5’7, keep ducking! Comfy bed, great shower, great service, looking forward to coming again on our next road trip around the Cotswolds.
