We were delayed to 9pm and were unable to get through on the phone to let the pub know, however, check in was OK when we got there. The room was very cold on arrival but warmed up in an hour after the heater was turned on. It's a lovely pub and the room was nice, however, our room (called "Cannon", a premier room) was right over the bar, very noisy in the evening, and again in the morning with a very early delivery of clanking beer barrells. Ask for a quiet room!!

Nice property, competitively priced, comfortable beds, great food. Would certainly return. Pillows poor and no tissues in the room, otherwise all was good
