We had the executive suite with Ocean view and balcony. The room was wonderful and the breakfast was pretty good too. The only draw back was that the hotel was supposed to have parking according to Expedia and since it did not, we had to park 20 minutes away and ended up getting a parking ticket. It would be a nice gesture for the hotel to reimburse us for the unexpected costs. If that occurs I will update my review.

Helt ok hotell, med noen fantastiske mennesker som jobber der. Veldig bra renhold. Ok frokost. Det står at de har parkering (blandt annet derfor vi valgte dette hotellet), men det kan de nesten ikke si at de har. Det er 2 plasser for parkering hvor den ene brukes av ansatte. Vi fikk aldri muligheten til å parkere som forventet noe som skapte mye trøbbel for oss i de travle og traffikerte gatene. Skal også sies at hvis du trenger ro før kl 00 på natten så styr unna. Det er en «roof top» bar som spiller svært høy musikk frem til da.

Absolut i centrum af Saranda, for støj følsomme gæster uddeles ørepropper - musik (juli måned) til ud på natten, onsdag, torsdag, fredag og søndag. Parkering lidt svært. Vi fik en p bøde på 20 Euro.

I stayed 5 nights at Hotel JoAn. The first thing I should say is that the girls at the reception are very kind and helpful. The room was a bit different than expected. I paid for a room with a king size bed, and was given a queen. The couch was defective because you could feel the springs if you sat on it, and was sort of caved in in one spot (but not visible to the eye- only once you sit). My room was directly next to a bar that played very loud music 4 out of the 5 nights, so I didn’t sleep well at all, even with ear plugs. I was surprised to discover that the balcony was half facing the street and bar, with a slight view of the ocean. It wasn’t ideal for sitting out there. Positives - they wound up including parking and breakfast, which somewhat compensated for not getting what I expected of the room. I really appreciated that gesture. The hotel is extremely clean, and all of the staff are very kind. It’s located in a very busy area, which makes it easy to walk to everything, but very difficult to get peace and quiet. Located in the center of Sarande, Hotel JoAn is surrounded by restaurants and shops. It is also just steps from the seaside plaza. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I would gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Sarande.

Hotel situato al centro di Saranda, ottimo se nn ci si vuole spostarsi con la macchina. Personale molto gentile, unica pecca la colazione, tutti i giorni le solite cose e non molto fornita, ma tt sommato passabile. Nulla da dire sulla pulizia, camera trovata sempre pulita, ci hanno anche fatto il cambio lenzuola e asciugamano tutti i giorni Lo consiglio

*J’ai aimé : -L’entrée fleurie de jasmin, hygiène au top! -Literie confortable -À 2 min à pied des stations de bus pour aller dans les 4 coins du sud… -Les taxis sont au pied de l’immeuble -À 2 min de la plage, restaurants, pizzeria, superette, pharmacie, boulangerie… -plusieurs banques à proximité pour le change (noter qu’il est possible de payer en euros et que l’euro est égal au lek, monnaie locale) -Personnels très serviables, en particulier la réceptionniste Klevissa! *Moins aimé : -Petit déjeuner, pas garnis (pains et céréales), des viennoiseries ne seraient pas de trop et un café un peu plus dosé serait meilleur -À proximité de la rue passante bruyante (musique, klaxons jusqu’à tard dans la nuit)

Clean compact room, with small balcony and included breakfast. Room was made up every day and a couple of bottles of water were also supplied. The southerly exposure meant the balcony could be warm, but there was effective AC in the room. Breakfast was good with a moderate selection of choices. WIFI was good. Our room was quite noisy one night due to a rooftop dance bar across the street but the other nights were fine. Note that there is a 5% surcharge if not paying in cash.

Amazing hotel. Pay the little extra for the sea view. As the balconies are perfect for morning coffee and late night caps. Very good breakfast and very clean. Felt more like a small family run business than a chain. Way above my expectations

Great location. Friendly staff. Nice plentiful breakfast. We had a room with amazing window that overlooked the whole port. Lovely to hear the music from neighbouring bars as we chilled in the evening. Prob not suited to families with young children or adults who want extra quiet. My daughter left her camera down the side of her bed. We checked out and moved to next resort. The manager and cleaners found it and kept it safe for 4 days when we returned to collect it. They also allowed us to store luggage on the day we checked out and returned to get camera!

Nice hotel, fantastic location - central to bars, restaurants, beach, transport links etc. Does a fantastic breakfast also. Due to central location, it is quite noisy from surrounding bars until about midnight but after that quiets down. Would stay again.

I paid for a room with a king size bed, and was given a queen. The couch was defective because you could feel the springs if you sat on it, and was sort of caved in in one spot (but not visible to the eye- only once you sit). My room was directly next to a bar that played very loud music 4 out of the 5 nights, so I didn’t sleep well at all, even with ear plugs. I was surprised to discover that the balcony was half facing the street and bar, with a slight view of the ocean. It wasn’t ideal for sitting out there. Positives - they wound up including parking and breakfast, which somewhat compensated for not getting what I expected of the room. I really appreciated that gesture. The hotel is extremely clean, and all of the staff are very kind. It’s located in a very busy area, which makes it easy to walk to everything, but very difficult to get peace and quiet. I do believe it is overpriced, but I really appreciate their efforts to make their guests happy.

Perfect very affordable property, could NEVER get the same quality in Canada. Service outstanding, polite and seamless. The condition of the property was incredible compared to places in Canmore where I have stayed and paid 4-6 times the amount that aren’t even close to this nice.

Great location. Friendly staff. Nice plentiful breakfast. We had a room with amazing window that overlooked the whole port. Lovely to hear the music from neighbouring bars as we chilled in the evening. Prob not suited to families with young children or adults who want extra quiet. My daughter left her camera down the side of her bed. We checked out and moved to next resort. The manager and cleaners found it and kept it safe for 4 days when we returned to collect it. They also allowed us to store luggage on the day we checked out and returned to get camera!

I was honestly so happy staying here during my trip to Sarande. It was perfect for me. It was centrally located, kept very well, it had a lovely panoramic ocean view from my balcony, and the service was first class. When I come back to Sarande, I will 100 % stay at this hotel. Thank Joan and Augjele for taking good care of me when I stayed with you. I really appreciated your hospitality.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Alles lässt sich zu Fuß erreichen: der Hafen, viele Restaurants, Supermärkte, der Strand mit der fabelhaften Promenade. Auch die Burg ist machbar, wenn man etwas Kondition mitbringt und bei Sonnenuntergang sehr zu empfehlen! Das Zimmer war wie auf den Fotos angegeben: klein aber fein. Alles da, was man braucht. Klimaanlage hat einwandfrei funktioniert und der Balkon war sehr schön! Das Personal war leider etwas wortkarg. In der Lobby herrschte immer etwas komische Stimmung wenn man das Hotel betrat oder verließ. Fast etwas überwacht fühlten wir uns. Wer die tolle Lage genießen will, muss auch mit etwas Lärm zurecht kommen. Für uns nur halb so wild. Allerdings waren teilweise hotelinterne (?) bis spät in die Nacht im Eingangsbereich sehr laut! Hotel situato al centro di Saranda, ottimo se nn ci si vuole spostarsi con la macchina. Personale molto gentile, unica pecca la colazione, tutti i giorni le solite cose e non molto fornita, ma tt sommato passabile. We had the executive suite with Ocean view and balcony. The room was wonderful and the breakfast was pretty good too. The only draw back was that the hotel was supposed to have parking according to Expedia and since it did not, we had to park 20 minutes away and ended up getting a parking ticket. It would be a nice gesture for the hotel to reimburse us for the unexpected costs. If that occurs I will update my review.

Clean compact room, with small balcony and included breakfast. Room was made up every day and a couple of bottles of water were also supplied. The southerly exposure meant the balcony could be warm, but there was effective AC in the room. Breakfast was good with a moderate selection of choices. WIFI was good. Our room was quite noisy one night due to a rooftop dance bar across the street but the other nights were fine. Note that there is a 5% surcharge if not paying in cash.

Nice hotel in excellent an location. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Although it is loud in the evenings, we don’t mind this at all. But note if you have children. Balcony was nice. I booked this room the night before my stay... had a nice balcony, spacious room with a lot of storage. I was blown away at the value with the price I paid for the room and what was included. Great location near the beach and all the restaurants in the area. Very walkable from the ferry.
I booked this room the night before my stay... had a nice balcony, spacious room with a lot of storage. I was blown away at the value with the price I paid for the room and what was included. Great location near the beach and all the restaurants in the area. Very walkable from the ferry.
