Overall, the hotel is nice and the front desk people were so helpful. However, we chose a hotel with an indoor pool so my son could swim but the pool was freezing and a huge clump of hair ended up on my son’s arm while trying to swim in the ice cold water. Also, if you’re not on the top floor, you can hear people walking around in the room above you.

Parking fee, while small, was not disclosed when the reservation was made. I have never been charged to park at Hampton or any other hotel. Elevator buttons did not all work and the floor numbers were unreadable.

Colleen from the front desk was awesome! However- for a hotel to not have hot water at 8:30 pm on a Friday night OR 6-8 am on a Saturday is ridiculous! It was not just my room. It was every person we asked who also stayed! There is no reason a hotel should not be able to provide hot water!

Arrived back at the hotel hoping to grab an ice cold soda from the front desk pantry and the drinks were in a fridge that kept them lukewarm. Followed the signs on our floor to “vending and ice” and the room was empty with only a garbage can. Went down to 2 more floors and there was no vending machine to be found. The hotel is not really close to any convenience stores or shopping centres that would be open at 9pm so we weren’t able to get any refreshments on this hot summer night after a long day of travel. Disappointing amenities.

Very clean. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. The pool wasn't open when we went there and that was the only reason we went there so not too happy about that. If we would have known, we would've went and done something else, but the front desk kept telling us one more hour. Our kids waited in their swimsuits just to watch tv and change in their pajamas and go to bed. They did discount for the inconvenience. And it wasn't fun to just sit in a room

Not falling apart but definitely opportunities for improvement. Greeted by torn wallpaper in the room, numerous questionable stains around the room. Pool dirty, tiles surrounding were slippery. Grounds were dirty and trash cans overflowing.

Wonderful breakfast! Overall, hotel was very clean. However, the restocking of items (like toilet paper and towels) needed to be reviewed. We were in a suite (could sleep 6) and when we got there, we had 1/4 roll of toilet paper (no spares) and 2 sets of towels. Registration staff was amazing! Very attentive and helpful. Poor was broken when we first got there, and repair man was coming that day. Lady at desk called us to tell us pool was back up because she knew our daughter was counting the minutes until she could go in. Would stay again!

Front desk staff is friendly and helpful, when we get to our room, the air conditioning cannot be dial to my desire temperature which is 73, found hair on my bed and pillow, toilet paper debris underneath where the toilet paper roll site, layer of dust can be seen at the molding between wall and floor, dust bunnies all around the base of the refrigerator, stain can be seen all over the carpet of the room, this is the most disappointing Hampton Inn I’ve been to. Housekeeping need to step up and do better at this site.

The most basic need in an overnight stay is a clean bed, which I will say this property had. On the down side: someone else's leftover food was still in our fridge, kitchen counter was sticky and dirty, sticky spot still on surface of desk, sticky spot still on surface of coffee table. When we went to the pool in the morning it was in a general disarray; day before's dirty towels still there, no clean towels, no toilet paper in that bathroom, someone else's socks and some kind of paper product wet and strewn about. Also, I was the first one to shower, and was unpleasantly surprised to run out of hot water. Breakfast was good and well run. If we travel to Syracuse as a family looking for a pool and breakfast I will not be choosing this property again.

Our 1st stay at this hotel and we had to switch rooms at 8pm the bed had stains on the sheets not even changed and the smell of cigarettes and the candy wrapper under the bed and the bathroom was not cleaned n having pictures. We got moved to another room with a pull out couch and not what we expected with only that room available. Late at Night just wanted to sleep not sure I’ll be booking that hotel again.

Check in went well. The problem was with the room itself. I began a thorough bed bug inspection immediately upon entry. I pulled one of the mattresses away from the headboard. I saw what appeared to be bed bug fecal matter and staining on the box spring encasement. The encasement had several small holes and tears all over. I alerted staff and they saw the evidence themselves. I booked another hotel for my party, 2 adults and 3 children, and left. I did receive a full refund and apology. However, it’s clear that housekeeping is seriously lacking. In addition to the bed bug fecal staining, there was old candy, a dirty paper plate and dried dog kibble on the floor.

Room was not clean. Hairs all over in bathroom, food pieces on counter and carpet. Sheets were not pulled fully over mattress and untucked during night. They did give us some cleaner so we could clean bathroom ourselves. Only 2 washcloths for 3 nights. Staff was nice. Cleaning lady saw us in hall in the morning and said she only had 18 rooms to clean that day. Do the math, no wonder room was dirty!

We arrived just before 11pm after a 2 hour long haul flight delay into Toronto and a long drive. The receptionist was extremely welcoming and efficient. She explained everything briefly but clearly. Opened the door to the room and were surprised how large and spacious it was. We’re a family of 4 with 2 mid/late teens so 2 queen beds were perfect for us. Huge seating area and a kitchenette. Very clean and the beds were comfortable. We are booked here again next week on our return journey

This is a good location to Syracuse University. I do think the rates are high for a non-touristy area. The shower at this hotel, the water did not get hot enough There limited tv channels and no channel guide. It is odd now a days that rooms do not come with a list of optional amenities for local area.

Great location, Needs updating. breakfast was great, staff was wonderful, lobby was inviting and pleasant. All other amenities were disappointing. Old tired bed linens and towels, carpeting in halls and room need replacing, furniture was old and worn, Bathrooms were fine and newer than the rest of the room. Basically the hotel needs serious renovation in the rooms. For $350 per nite, I expected more.

Excellent hotel overall. Super clean, modern, ans comfortable. Rooms were very spacious!! Our family of five had room to spare. The breakfast was the typical free eggs/waffle/ceral/bacon type, but well stocked. The staff was attentive and accommodating. I'd stay here again without a doubt.

I booked two suite rooms for the 29th and 30th of December but had to cancel my reservation on the 28th as my little daughter got sick and ended up staying in bed 6 days with fever . I called the hotel , requested a cancellation due to the sudden change of plans that is beyond our control . The lady then proceeded with the cancellation , advised I should also receive a confirmation and further confirmed there should be no charges to my credit card. I was impressed with the client service provided by this lady who was polite, courteous and understanding . To my amazement, the next morning the 29 of December the Hotel charges me no-show for the first night ($ 245 x 2 rooms) contrary to what I've been told the night before. I called the hotel to reverse the charges but instead I was given the cold shoulder . I got a different lady this time who belittled the capacity of the other person who helped me with the cancellation , and advised she may be in training ! Further mentioned there would be no cancellation confirmation ! And reminded me that I should've cancelled on the 27th even though I paid the additional charges to ensure full refund . She was intentionally ignoring my concerns about mixed messages, and conflicting information . She simply had no interest in resolving the matter or making it right. Extremely disappointed . Will definitely ignore Hilton and affiliates in our future travel plans to US and overseas.

Front desk people need retraining. I was over charged $165 in addition to my one night stay. When we left, the front desk worker was head down SLEEPING at the front desk. I mean at least he showed up.

Would rate almost perfect BUT a staff lady serving breakfast was an absolutely terrible human!!!! She was reposted to management and I never heard if she was spoken to etc. Will not stay there again just because of that one person that ruined it!!

The hotel was in a quieter part of Syracuse with a handful of other hotels nearby and office buildings nearby. Nothing walkable nearby in terms of stores or food but I was able to UberEats food to the hotel easily. Parking was easy and always available.

Excellent choice for a shopping/tourist trip from Quebec. Suite was clean, beds very comfortable, personnel was helpful and friendly and they accommodated my gtluten-free restriction at breakfast. Would stay again !!
