My wife was traveling alone and we reserved this place for her. When she got there the room they put her in had not been cleaned and reset so they had to move her. The room she ended up in had paint peeling around the air conditioner and in the corners. And the old place not smell very good. She went to a Dollar general and got some deodorizers for the room. Overall she said her stay was satisfactory but would not want to stay there again.

After checking in and heading to the room I was a little taken aback by the normal sized elevator having a sign indicating only 2 people could use it at a time. I got to my room to find it very humid although the a/c was on. The toilet had the paper ring around the lid saying it had been sanitized. I opened the lid, breaking the paper only to find a black curly hair sitting very prominently on the seat. A tile in front of the shower was no longer connected to anything and very wobbly. The upholstered chair was filthy. The 2 queen beds were made differently which made me assume only one had been changed since the last guest. I waited about 15 minutes for my friend to arrive so we could decide together whether to ask for a refund. We went downstairs and were told they couldn't get a refund after a room was assigned. We were shown another room, which at first glance appeared and smelled cleaner and wasn't in a state of disrepair, but then we started seeing issues. We told the desk clerk we wanted a refund. He told me he couldn't do it, but I could contact the manager Monday. Then he told me it had to be done through Hotels.com. I made the reservation with them but paid the hotel directly. I said that was fine, but I still wanted the manager's info. He gave it to me and not long after we left I received a text from him saying he was able to do the refund. He also called me to inform me. I'm glad it was handled right away. But I could not recommend this place to anyone.

When we get there the room was hot. They said they just fixed the AC and just turned it on so we left and waited for it to cool down. When we got back the room was cool but stunk badly. Found out the AC was draining into the room and the carpet was all wet causing the smell which tells me the carpet was extremely dirty and hadn't been professionally clean for years. Didn't have another room to give us. Wouldn't give us a discount or a refund. Everything else in the room was dirty and grimy. The breakfast was tiny with few options and what they had was NASTY! We will never stay here again and I suggest you do not either.

The front desk agent was polite, but pronouncing my room number out loud immediately raised safety concerns. Due to attending a family funeral nearby, I could not inspect the room until returning late that evening. Upon returning, the conditions were shocking: Hallway: Unpleasant, musty odor. Main Room: Sticky tile flooring, a hole in the blanket on the window-side bed, and a heavily worn, stained armchair. Bathroom: Loose floor tiles, a shower wall separating from the structural wall, a clump of hair left on the shower shelf, and an empty shampoo bottle. Due to the lack of cleanliness, we skipped showering before departure. We also bypassed the complimentary breakfast because the food was unappetizing and the orange juice tasted heavily watered down. While I recognize a refund is unlikely since we stayed overnight, the property fell far short of acceptable standards and was not worth the rate charged. I have advised my local family never to recommend this location, and I plan to contact management directly.
