Friendly, helpful staff. This is a simple, modestly priced, very clean & well-maintained small hotel about 25 min walk from the tourist bustle of Cisco’s historical center. Buffet breakfast next to hotel garden & excellent dinner restaurant a block away. I stayed here because I wanted a sense of Cusceño street life away from the tourists. No glorious view from the room—it’s a pretty quiet working street—but an excellent stay.

Kleines aber Feines Hotel welches alles hat was man benötigt. Besonders aufgefallen sind die komfortablen Betten, das Gute Morgenessen, freundlichen Mitarbeiter und natürlich das kleine Gym, was alles bietet was man benötigt. Auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen

Don't be fooled by the front of the hotel -- it's just a door with iron bars that demands you to be buzzed in to enter. Once inside, it opens up to a very quiet hotel with a cute garden and artsy decor (maybe thanks to the Mercado de Artisanal just around the block). Definitely check this hotel out if you want a stay away from the more touristy/busy bar area of Cusco, and want to get more of a local feel. I walked around C del Sol neaby, grab some pollo ala brasa, even visited the post office and watched the buses carrying the Cusco residence come and go in the busy intersections nearby. The artisanal market is definitely where you want to go if you want a cheaper price for souvenirs (other than the Mercado de San Pedro, of course). Very polite and helpful staff, thank for such a nice stay!

This property suited our needs. Nice hotel with lift and breakfast. The negative was no fridge or aircon. Reasonable size room. The hidden bonus were the reception staff. Very very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place.

It was fairly cheap. It had an elevator!! Did not look like the pictures due to construction and our very large family room did not have an updated bathroom like the pictures. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was meager. It was clean, and the grandson loved that he could cast his Disney+ downloads to the TV. We were a few blocks from Avenida del Sol and Perú Cafe- best crepes ever! The entrance to the hotel is a barred gate to a parking garage which was initially unexpected

Hotel desk staff is very nice and helpful. bed was confortable, there was a tv but not cable, i cannot confirm if it allowed casting. Hot water sometimes took a couple minutes of running water to come on, only once was it just tepid. There is an outdoor patio and a small gym that has a bench press, 2 dumbbells, punching bad, and some adjustable weights. There is a lat pulldown and chest fly universal but the weights stuck. Hotel is about a 15 min walk to plaza de armas, 10-15 min drive from the airport. I only had the breakfast one day which was fried or hard boiled eggs, bread, a lemon cake, acocado slices, cheese, ham, yogurt, juice, coffee and teas. There are also coca leaves if needed. I would recommend.

Very cute hotel with an excellent breakfast and rest area, cute garden and very friendly and helpful staff. Not that far from the center, many shops and markets around. The only négative point is there is no heat in the room. We recommand this place in Cusco!

Hotel is in a perfect location to call your home base when exploring Cusco and surrounding area. Rooms are decent, clean and tidy. Breakfast was good with basic fare. The Staff were super friendly and helpful in every way. Definitely walkable to many sites and restaurants.

Overall, it was an alright experience, but the room had ants, the front desk didn't have our reservation (they found it later), the wifi was inconsistent, and the shower couldn't stay warm (after 4 days hiking this was more important than it would've been otherwise).

O acesso para plaza de armas é cômodo, contudo não vale o valor cobrado. O chuveiro fica quase encostando na cabeça, mesmo eu sendo uma pessoa de estatura média. A água praticamente não esquenta. O quarto extremamente barulhento e as cortinas passavam quase toda a luz de fora. Na única noite que fiquei, quase não consegui dormir.

The people that work there are extremely nice, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good. They all help with suggestions for food and shopping since we arrived very late. My only complaints are the lack of hot water and the beds are a bit hard. My personal preference

One of the worst wifi ever for a hotel. Couldn't even watch a YouTube video. I needed to do some work and I ended putting my Starlink out of the window to be able to do anything. My room was clean and comfortable for the price. If you are just visiting Cusco and don't need internet this place is OK.

I don't understand why this property has such high ratings. It's cheap, but really not that cheap to justify the problems. First the good: the breakfast is ok. It has eggs, meat, and avocados. But nothing particularly good. I would have rather got breakfast from a restaurant nearby. The packed breakfasts are a small granola bar, juice box, water, and crackers. Staff were polite. Now the bad. No heating. Front desk had some old space heaters but Cusco gets very cold in the evening and morning. Coming home to a cold hotel is straight awful. Even worse, the showers have serious issues with hot water. It takes about 5 minutes for hot water to come out, if it comes out. It often doesn't and if it does it will go from hot to cold at a moment's notice. With cold being painfully cold. Often there was just no hot water at all and I'd give up. No kettles in the room. No facial tissue in the room. No coffee machine in the room. No hair driver in the room. The overhead light doesn't fully turn off at night and lights up the room a bit. Bathroom had a rusted shelf.

The staff completely ignored the VIP status. The room were horrible, noisy, and some genius put windows in the room that look into the building stairs so anytime someone passes by and turn on the lights the room inside is very bright. Moreover it’s impossible to keep the room dark at night. The bathroom is a joke, is the smallest I have ever seen. After complaining the staff moved us in a triple room which is slightly more comfortable, credit to the staff for trying but the structure itself is awful

The location of the hotel is not good. It is about a 15-minute walk from the historic center of Cusco. Every departure from the hotel usually requires a taxi ride. I stayed in a single room, without a window or ventilation. No air conditioning or heating. There were no power points to charge the phone next to the bed, no wardrobe, the water in the shower takes a long time to warm up and when a guest in another room takes a shower the water becomes cold again. The breakfast is minimal, the service is very kind. No hairdryer available for all rooms, I had to go out in the cold with wet hair! The only great advantage of the hotel is that you can extend check-out for $10 and get organized and shower before the flight in the room. I do not recommend the hotel for stays longer than 2 nights...

The staff was very courteous and helpful every step of the way. The main dining area and patio is beautiful. The location is not central but still has plenty of shops and restaurants around. 20 minute walk gets you into the centre. The rooms are not soundproof and there is some machine noise that goes on all night, also you can hear noise from corridor and hallways easily. I had trouble sleeping because of that. Also no window in room which made it very dark.

We had 2 stays of 5 nights at the illas inn. The checkin was extremely smooth, everything was ready at arrival at noon. We were expected and we felt welcome. The hotel staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We received tons of help from the hotel manager Jose. Hotel is just a few steps away from the Wanqac railway station , and the other railway station San Pandro is not far either. We had to use both train stations and so the location of the hotel meant a lot to us. We received tons of assistance and advice from Jose. We had questions in booking tickets, finding good restaurants, and even renting cars, as we spoke no Spanish, without the help of the hotel, our visit to Cusco would have been stressful. We are immensely grateful to the help hotel provided us. The hotel is small but very quiet, nice and cozy.

We had questions in booking tickets, finding good restaurants, and even renting cars, as we spoke no Spanish, without the help of the hotel, our visit to Cusco would have been stressful. We are immensely grateful to the help hotel provided us. The hotel is small but very quiet, nice and cozy.

Hotel is in a perfect location to call your home base when exploring Cusco and surrounding area. Rooms are decent, clean and tidy. Breakfast was good with basic fare. The Staff were super friendly and helpful in every way. Definitely walkable to many sites and restaurants.

The location of the hotel is not good. It is about a 15-minute walk from the historic center of Cusco. Every departure from the hotel usually requires a taxi ride. I stayed in a single room, without a window or ventilation. No air conditioning or heating. There were no power points to charge the phone next to the bed, no wardrobe, the water in the shower takes a long time to warm up and when a guest in another room takes a shower the water becomes cold again. The breakfast is minimal, the service is very kind. No hairdryer available for all rooms, I had to go out in the cold with wet hair! The only great advantage of the hotel is that you can extend check-out for $10 and get organized and shower before the flight in the room. I do not recommend the hotel for stays longer than 2 nights...

I stayed at Illas Inn three times during my three weeks in Cusco, as i was traveling around and coming back to Cusco each time, so had three different reservations. Each time my stay in this hotel was great, tge breakfast delicious, the neighborhoods perfect and a walking distance from all important places of the center, check in and check out process easy and quick, the staff always accommodating and smiling, every resquest i had was met with readiness and kindness (each time i left i needed to leave my suitcase behind, for example; or the last time i wanted to check out several hours later than the check out time - it was done very readily and for a minimum fee). I'll absolutely stay in this hotel when visiting Cusco again :)

Illa's inn offered excellent hospitality and service. The location is pretty strategic as it's within 3 mins walking distance to the Wanchaq station, so no taxi needed when you are heading to Machu Picchu early in the morning or late in the evening. The receptionist named Alex was very informative and helpful. Gave us the name to an awesome restaurant called La Quinta Cocina Peruana. For its price, the bedroom was decent. We had the 2 twin beds because thats all available when booking but it had a private bathroom, with nice hot water. The breakfast was good. It had fried eggs, ham, bread, juice, coffee and milk.

It was an incredible experience during my stay at Illas Inn. The host went above and beyond, being considerate and making arrangements to ensure I had everything I needed. The location was also great - 10 minutes walk to Cusco Square and literally 2 minutes walk to the PeruRail station. Thank you for providing such an incredible experience.

Very cute hotel with an excellent breakfast and rest area, cute garden and very friendly and helpful staff. Not that far from the center, many shops and markets around. The only négative point is there is no heat in the room. We recommand this place in Cusco!

The staff was very courteous and helpful every step of the way. The main dining area and patio is beautiful. The location is not central but still has plenty of shops and restaurants around. 20 minute walk gets you into the centre. The rooms are not soundproof and there is some machine noise that goes on all night, also you can hear noise from corridor and hallways easily. I had trouble sleeping because of that. Also no window in room which made it very dark.

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming however, they were not accommodating about having coffee available earlier in the morning. Their breakfast starts at 6:30/7am and we asked if they could have coffee for us at 6 am and they couldn't accommodate it. They did not have hair dryers available either. Check in is at 12pm and our room was not available until about 12:30, they were aware we needed to check in asap because we had a tour scheduled and we had to ask them at 12:20 again about our room, even though we were in their waiting area. The location is nice and walkable.

I don't understand why this property has such high ratings. It's cheap, but really not that cheap to justify the problems. First the good: the breakfast is ok. It has eggs, meat, and avocados. But nothing particularly good. I would have rather got breakfast from a restaurant nearby. The packed breakfasts are a small granola bar, juice box, water, and crackers. Staff were polite. Now the bad. No heating. Front desk had some old space heaters but Cusco gets very cold in the evening and morning. Coming home to a cold hotel is straight awful. Even worse, the showers have serious issues with hot water. It takes about 5 minutes for hot water to come out, if it comes out. It often doesn't and if it does it will go from hot to cold at a moment's notice. With cold being painfully cold. Often there was just no hot water at all and I'd give up. No kettles in the room. No facial tissue in the room. No coffee machine in the room. No hair driver in the room. The overhead light doesn't fully turn off at night and lights up the room a bit. Bathroom had a rusted shelf.
