The room was a very nice single and the desk clerk was super-helpful. However, I think the description of the hotel needs to be expanded—it’s almost misleading by the omissions. The hotel is attached to a hospital—you literally have to enter the hospital doors to get to the hotel. The paid parking is outside, a block away from the hotel. There are no luggage carts, etc. I parked in a taxi zone to unload my luggage and haul it to my room before parking. However, the room was nice and had a good view, though the window was quite small. The included breakfast was very good.

Although this hotel is based in a huge hospital complex and you will meet the odd out-patient in the lift, you will not notice that the hotel is linked to the hospital. Room clean, modern and functional with TV, mini fridge and small desk where you can work. The twin beds were fairly narrow, but comfortable. Generous sized bathroom. Lifts can be a bit busy at times. Breakfast restaurant roomy and food was good. No table service, so you will have to clean up the table yourself - which seems a bit cheap for a hotel restaurant. The hotel is based some 15 minutes by bus from the city centre. Frequent bus services during the day and early evening, but by late night you'd be hard pushed to find a bus back to the hotel. The shower had some general issues in our room leaving the temperature going awol from freezing cold to steaming hot in seconds, but staff was informed. Great views over the fjord and the mountains.

The shower was faulty during my three day stay which was a letdown. A general fault with the hot water supply did - apparently -affect all rooms. Nice breakfast restaurant with good selection of foods. No toaster was available, however. Self service - including a cramped and compromised waste sorting station which should have been better planned. One had to wait for person in front to empty their tray and sort their waste. Slightly annoying when you're in a restaurant. Two lifts which at busy morning times was inadequate. It stopped at most floors going down, to the degree that it took ages to get down to exit level - and I missed my planned local bus to town on two occasions. All this said, it was a nice stay. Very clean and relatively quiet. Man skal være opmærksom på at det et patient hotel, der bogstaveligt ligger inde i hovedbygningen på hospitalet. Det betyder, at det er meget tydeligt mere hospital end hotel. Så hvis man har det skidt med hvide kitler etc., så er det ikke her, man skal bo. Det er ikke oplagt at gå til og fra byen, hvilket betyder at man er afhængig af busserne. Det tog mindst 5 min før der var varmt vand i bruseren. Der var ingen rengøring i de 5 dage vi var der. Kun nye rene håndklæder. Alt i alt ikke en fantastisk oplevelse at bo på dette sted, men heller ikke dårligt. Vi vil dog vælge et andet hotel tættere på byen, hvis vi kommer tilbage til Tromsø.

Room and bathroom was very clean, recommend for a budget stay. Quite strange having the hotel located inside the hospital, but didn’t bother us. Buses to and from the city centre were convenient, only 15-20 minute journey.

Very clean and comfortable property. Location is a little out of the city centre however excellent bus connection to central Tromsø every 10 minutes. Access to hotel is through the University of Northern Norway Hospital. Overall enjoyed the 3 night stay.

Obs obs! Dusjen vekslet mellom veldig kaldt vann, og glo varmt! Var nødt til å stille dusjen på kaldvann, da jeg nesten ble skåldet av det kjempe varmevannet. Hadde ikke stilt temperaturen til varmt vann, så dette syns jeg var veldig ubehagelig og skummelt. Vil også påpeke at det lå hår i vasken, så badet var ikke skikkelig rent gjort. Tok dessverre ikke bilde, da jeg bodde på hotellet som pasient og ikke tenkte over å knipse et bilde.

Hotel was comfortable and staff were very helpful and friendly. Good connections to everything on Tromso via the bus stop immediately outside, and having the Narvessen in the foyer was useful too! We were on the 12th floor in one of the corner rooms which meant we had two fantastic window views looking south/east over Tromso and to the mountains beyond. Quite a view to wake up to on our first morning!

Great hotel and the breakfast had a lot of variety including eggs and different types of meats. the only complaint is the single beds are very very small they're more for a child. I have a small camping cot and it's about the same size. It is not close to town so you need to take about a 10 minute taxi ride

Das Hotel ist insgesamt gut und sauber. Die Betten sind etwas klein und generell ist das zimmer sehr spartanisch aber bietet alles was man braucht. Zimmerservice kommt nur jeden 2. Tag. Das Fruhstückangebot ist umfangreich. Die Busverbindungen zur Stadtmitte sind sehr gut. Das Hotel ist prakitsch teil der UNN Krankenhaus was nicht von der Beschreibung sehr klar ist und wir haben nach dem Eingang zum Hotel gesucht bis wir gesehen haben dass wir eigentlich durch den Krankenhauseingang gehen müssen was etwas deprimierind war.

Bei Buchung des Hotels wurden wir nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass das Hotel Bestandteil eines Krankenhauses ist. Der Haupteingang zur Lobby führt über den Haupteingang des Krankenhauses. Auch während des Aufenthaltes traf man immer wieder auf teils schwerst kranke Patienten sowohl in der Lobby als auch im Essbereich, so dass der Aufenthalt eher an einen Krankenhausaufenthalt erinnerte. Als außerordentlich und sehr angenehm zu bewerten, war der freundliche Service des Rezeptionisten.

Hotel was comfortable and staff were very helpful and friendly. Good connections to everything on Tromso via the bus stop immediately outside, and having the Narvessen in the foyer was useful too! We were on the 12th floor in one of the corner rooms which meant we had two fantastic window views looking south/east over Tromso and to the mountains beyond. Quite a view to wake up to on our first morning!

I was very surprised to see that this hotel actually shares a building and main entrance with a general HOSPITAL. You walk in through the front threshold and there are plenty of sick people coughing and waiting for treatment. It’s a heavy sight to see and then to know that you’re exposed all these sick people as you walk further in to navigate to the hotel desk is an experience. I would not have booked it if I knew that the Hotel is really an annex of the hospital. It’s very creative and I’m sure a great way to generate additional revenue for the hospital, but it was a little deceptive for unsuspecting customers. I would not have booked it had I known this. I also found the food to be very expensive and not very tasty.

Bei Buchung des Hotels wurden wir nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass das Hotel Bestandteil eines Krankenhauses ist. Der Haupteingang zur Lobby führt über den Haupteingang des Krankenhauses. Auch während des Aufenthaltes traf man immer wieder auf teils schwerst kranke Patienten sowohl in der Lobby als auch im Essbereich, so dass der Aufenthalt eher an einen Krankenhausaufenthalt erinnerte. Als außerordentlich und sehr angenehm zu bewerten, war der freundliche Service des Rezeptionisten.

Room and bathroom was very clean, recommend for a budget stay. Quite strange having the hotel located inside the hospital, but didn’t bother us. Buses to and from the city centre were convenient, only 15-20 minute journey.

Very clean and comfortable property. Location is a little out of the city centre however excellent bus connection to central Tromsø every 10 minutes. Access to hotel is through the University of Northern Norway Hospital. Overall enjoyed the 3 night stay.
