The hotel’s breakfast and the fact that they have a grill on a patio by the pool. We bought groceries and caught fish also. Saved $1000-1200 on eating out. We ate out only 3 times

Vehicle was broke into during our stay. Front desk informed us they have no cameras on the property and are aware of the fact multiple break-ins have been occurring. However, they chose to “allow corporate to decide how to handle it” rather than taking the extra 15 seconds to inform guests upon check in. Hilton isn’t that nice of a chain to want to stay at again if they are going to be so flippant about their lack of security or concern

The parking lot seemed to have had zero snow removal all year and it had melted and refrozen so much it was just huge sheets of ice with ruts. Other than that everything was nice

I did like the room we stayed in and the staff were very pleasant. The BIG problem, and the reason we will NEVER stay there again was because my car was ransacked and the ashes of my mom in a locket, as well as two crystals that belonged to her and were attached, were ripped from my rear view mirror. They were of no value to anyone other than me. Though the facility has signage that says something along the lines of "park at your own risk"I also found out that the facility, due to lack of funds in their budget, do not have any security walking, or checking, the perimeter of the parking lot. Additionally, cars being broken into are a common occurrence, which Hilton is aware of. I would NOT recommend staying there.

Pretty decent place to stay. Room was clean, the halls and elevators seem a bit worn and dirty. The area has a lot of construction and a few sketchy areas. The roads in and around the hotel are horrible.

The landscaping was nice and the parking lot was clean. The pool area was nice. The premade egg bowl at the breakfast bar was not good. Elevator was clean. The hideabed bedding was not fresh. Housekeeping staff was very nice. Front desk people were nice and helpful.

The furniture in the room was disgusting and extremely worn out. Couch cushions were torn and stained. Desk chair was stained. Bathroom was mostly clean as was the bed which was most important I guess.

My room had trash in it from the person who stayed in it previously. There was some kind of brownish muck on one of the lightswitches. The chair was visibly stained. The couch was falling apart, with stuffing coming out of rips. My room was not cleaned any of the days I stayed there. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Definitely recommend staying here. I stayed here for a conference for about 4 nights. Room was clean and it was in a good neighborhood unlike my colleagues who stayed in Downtown. I like that the room came with a kitchen. There was a microwave, fridge, dishwasher and utensils. This was an awesome addition since I had plates and forks to eat food if I got it delivered. The closet did not have doors just curtains. There was a couch and table to work. The design choices of the room were new to me but it made sense. They also had breakfast every morning. They had bagels, eggs, meat patties, hashbrowns. You could also make your own waffles. They also had coffee and different types of juices. They also had space to sit down and eat. Breakfast was okay but I’m glad it was available and there was a lot of variety. Overall, I would rate this property very high. I would gladly stay here if I returned.

Good for the price. Overall the hotel and room were nice. Modern, spacious, and clean. The bed was definitely needed to be replaced as it was an inner spring mattress and was rather uncomfortable. It was also pretty noisy. Other guest yelling, slamming doors, and barking dogs made it difficult to stay asleep. The hotel sits directly on a major road, so traffic noise is high.

Solid 3 star hotel for the price. Nice free breakfast more than just a continental with waffles, oatmeal, yogurt some fruit and hot dishes. Kitchenette with a few place settings and metal utensils Room just ok the sofa bed in the room couch pillows were all ripped in the corner. Bed seemed very small for a Queen. Bedding was weird in that cover seemed like a mattress pad? Not really a comforter and then had a thin quilted duvet like cover. Almost ran out of TP but we did not request daily room clean

I loved this place. The only thing I would complain about is that we were in the 2nd floor and we could hear a lot of footsteps and constant noise from the upper floor. It was hard to sleep

The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities that one might expect in a suite. The staff was wonderful & helpful - going out of their way both at checkin as well as during the stay. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to major roads and attractions. I would strongly recommend. And will stay again when next in Anchorage.

I booked two rooms for my daughter’s birthday and the staff was phenomenal. The manager got us close to the pool and the staff left a little birthday basket in my daughter’s room. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Everyone was so friendly! We will definitely stay here again. Such a good experience!!

I let the hotel know we would be in after midnight and they agreed to hold the room for us. I was so grateful when, after a delayed flight, we arrived at 4:00 am and our room was still available and ready for us. She also arranged for us to check out an hour late. Because we went to sleep so late, we didn’t get to breakfast until just before their free breakfast was wrapping up. The men who were cleaning up and putting away the foods (after we had already served ourselves) asked us if we were finished before putting away food and condiments. They definitely didn’t have any obligation to do that. Everyone was just really nice, and we appreciated that. Our stay was quick but comfortable. But! Later in the evening, I realized I had left my wedding ring on the bathroom counter. I returned to ask for it and was grateful to find It had been found by the cleaning staff and catalogued so that I was able to get it back immediately. Breakfast was basic but not bad. An overall good experience (aside from the flight delay!).

I love this hotel. I stay at it often. However yesterday, the man at the front desk was horribly rude. I waited in line for 15-20 min with my 2 small children, before checking in. Then the man at the desk, told me he didnt have my reservation.....i showed him the reciept that i paid and confirmation number. He was horrobly rude, he told me to step aside. I asked how we fix it, he told me to figure it out and call the number on my app. I tried to explain to him that the other number i saw was for this hotel. He then became rude again, and told me to step aside. Mind you i was extremely calm and just needed to figure out what i needed to do and not be dismissed. I stepped aside and 2 customers walked over to assit me in finding the right number. After a few minutes i did. They called Luke at the front desk. And confirmed my reservations. Of course i had to wait again. I was 1.5 hrs late checking in due to his lack of helping me. And he didnt even apologize after. He just acted like he wasnt short or rude with me. His customer service was better later on when i requested am extra blanket for my kiddos in the room. This morning i went to grab a mug, from inside my room qnd noticed it had lip prints all over it and was dirty. It had dried coffee in the bottom. I did let the front desk know. I will stay at this hotel again, but i will say, out of the loads of times ive stayed here, i was NOT impressed with housekeeping or their customer service.

They checked me in with no notice they didn’t have the suite I reserved, and when I got to the room they gave me a regular room for a suite price. Said the one I booked wasn’t available. I left and booked somewhere else. I had to go months of back and forth to get most of the refund. They still charged me one night stay even though I spent all of one minute and it was their failed booking. The person handling it said they should have notified me before checking me in it wasn’t the right room but oh well, nothing they can do. They also said they’d refund it if Expedia requested it and then fought it for months.

Hotels in Anchorage are very expensive and run down. This property is newer and in very good to excellent condition. It's not a walkable location but otherwise it has all you're looking for. There's a nice restaurant within 2 minutes walk from the hotel with great food and drinks.

2 night stay with friends travelling from Fairbanks. Fairly close to airport so not expensive taxi. Continental breakfast included was very good. Walking distance to bus stop into downtown. Nearby eateries were very good and walking distance. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and shower good.

The hotel itself was fine, clean, everything worked. We walked to a nearby restaurant but the area around the hotel is in bad shape, no sidewalks, lots of nearby construction and some questionable characters hanging around. During check-in, some guy was yelling in the parking lot that someone was following him, he then came into the hotel lobby spouting the same nonsense. Very agitated, and high on something. Not the hotel's fault but it made it feel a little unsafe.

Great place for a couple of nights in Anchorage! It is a convenient location, as it is about halfway between the airport and downtown. Just about everything you could want to do in the city is a 15 minute drive away. It was a spacious room with a great in-room cookspace and comfortable bed. The 24-hour fitness center, pool, and continental breakfast were wonderful as well. The only negative was that there were a number of homeless people outside, but the hotel warned us of this upon check-in, and it would be an issue at any other hotel in the midtown area from what I could tell. No issues with it once we were inside though!

Great places nearby to get food! Hotel staff were super welcoming and did all they could to help. The only thing was that the continental breakfast did not last super long in the morning. It was only served from 6-9am.

This is by far my favorite mid-priced hotel in Anchorage. Consistently clean, quiet, such nice staff. I rarely use the pool/hot tub/fitness center at hotels b/c they're often crowded and seem unsanitary, but all 3 at Home2 are so well cared for. The only downsides are no airport shuttle, and the breakfast is pretty limited especially for folks w/ food restrictions or allergies. But both are made up for by all the positives. After being treated very rudely at another hotel in the area where we stayed one night (b/c Home2 was full) it's that much clearer that the staff here is excellent. To a person, everyone was polite, warm, and helped accommodate any request. When you're traveling, away from home, tired, etc, it makes SUCH a difference. Thank you. We'll be back!

Breakfast was not that great. Little cartons of milk were four days past their pull date and tasted sour. When I mentioned it to the lady working the breakfast, she told me, “It’s zero milk (she meant non-fat milk) it never goes bad.” Some things were ok, other not.
