Staff and our room were exceptional! The included breakfast was far better than we expected. The only reason we did not rate 5 star was 1 elevator was out of service making fir a long wait on the working also florr lights did not light on wirking elevator so a bit of guess work to know if your floor was selected. We had stayed here before and will return again it is a very nice hotel.

The room was great it had everything I needed and more. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The breakfast was great. Any other vacations I take I hope that the Resident Inn by Marriott is in the city or state I will be going to visit. Because I will be booking with them again. I really liked that they are pet friendly as well that's a plus for me. Thank you Resident Inn by Marriott Shreveport-Bossier City/ Downtown.

Bathroom could have been cleaned better upon arrival. Busy weekend, only one elevator working, breakfast area needs to be larger. Property is nice with all the amnesties. Very close to casino. I would stay again.

Hotel and room were very accommodating. Few minor flaws in the room itself; fridge was dirty on arrival and very dim lighting. Shower was exceptional! Comfortable bedding and pillows. We had a pet friendly room and would never know there had been previous pets.

I understand that a storm hit but I wasn't able to get any sleep during my stay as the alarms were making loud clicking sounds in my room that turned into loud alarm sounds. I asked the staff about it and they mentioned there was nothing they could do even though they mentioned the hotel had a generator that was not working. This was a huge inconvenience as I had to get up the next mroning for a business meeting and was not well rested. I would like to speak with someone about the stay if possible.

The hotel itself was nice. Checking in went very well BUT our bathroom wasn’t very clean. There was urine on the toilet seat. Also our television kept going out. We reached out to the front desk and the problem was never resolved.

The condition of the room was disgusting and the workers in the breakfast area were very rude. Maybe it was skin color but completely uncalled for. There was mold in the bathroom, hair in the shower, tiles were falling off in the bathroom. When we requested a room change they were completely booked. Just very disappointing, especially with a family.

Overall worst experience at a Marriott ever. No wifi all weekend , when i asked about it the response from front desk was - No one else is complaining so everything is good. Room had terrible sound coming from air - instead of just moving our room we had to wait for maintenance to confirm. Then wake up on check out day to see black gunk that had blew out of duct work vent.

Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming as I arrived. When I needed something they helped me or answered any questions I had. My only complaint about my stay at this property is the shower. The shower head had very low pressure. It probably needs attention from maintenance to repair or replacing.

Room was clean and spacious. Bed was horrible, hard and lumpy. Vanity drawer front was broken and hanging off. Toilet paper holder was broken, shower gel dispenser was broken off. Many disappointing features. We cut our stay short and found another hotel to stay in. If you are looking for comfort, look elsewhere.

The room was nice but the faucet pressure in the kitchen sink was real low. I had to wash our dishes in the bathroom. Also, our lamp was cracked. Other than that, the bed was comfortable. The room was clean and we would stay again.

We liked that the area was close to outlet and casino. The rooms were nice and clean. Only bad take away was the rooms located behind the building are near the casino parking garage. Loud vehicles noises throughout the night.

I Booked a room with 2 queen beds weeks in advance but when I showed up to the hotel to check in they informed me that they were booked solid and that I was getting a room with just 1 queen bed I paid $230 for the room with 2 beds and the hotel informed me the room they were giving me goes for $80 cheaper and that someone should of told me the room I booked wasn’t available but they said there was nothing they could do about it and I would have to contact hotels.com to get any kind of refund or the difference sent back to me this experience make me very hesitant to use this service in the future not only that I was screwed out of money because I paid for a more expensive room but stuck with a cheaper one

The clerk Tronada was so sweet and friendly. When I arrived she apologized for me not receiving an automated text to confirm my room was ready. After I left, and came back my room card got deactivated, she proceeded to fix this issue quickly and with a great attitude ! She’s literally amazing The rooms were so spacious, clean, and filled with everything you might need.

I arrived there at 5:00 pm, I was Tolk that there were no rooms ready I got verry aggravated could not believe what I was hearing then I ask for the manager the lady there toll me she was the manager and said that I will get room but she could not give me a time frame that they were shore of personal , I desired to leave and drove to Pensacola FL till 1:00 AM where we where able to stay.

Shower controls resulted in water that was either scalding hot or too cold. The front desk said mantenance guy had already left for the day and there were no other rooms available. They sent a security guy who was unable to adjust the water to a usable temp and agreed there was a problem. He said there was nothing he could do. I said I wanted some concideration for this--the front desk left a note for the manager. Next morning they said sorry but because you booked through a third party we cannot adjust the room price. This seems like a convenient barrier to hide behind to avoid customer service issues in my opinion. This has been our go-to hotel for stays in Shreveport. The rest of the room was OK and the breakfast was decent, but because of this experience, we won't be staying at this hotel again.

Canceled reservation with less than 12 hrs till check in- via email. Phone call would have been courteous considering I was busy packing and preparing for my trip instead of checking my email all day. Not helpful at all!!!

Residence Inn Downtown has to do better No hot cooked breakfast only on weekend nobody eats prepacked jimmy dean sandwiches the price the same as a rewards member I expect the same treatment and I called ahead they told me they had hot breakfast which was a lie also no service to the room if you stay multiple nights no towels no trash pickup wasn’t satisfied like it’s a entire kitchen please come service the room
