It was a quiet hotel and good place to rest. Beds were not super comfortable but not too bad either. I like the options of bed layouts and the friendly couple who received us. Wish it had a microwave or refrigerator.

Friendly and helpful staff. There is no restaurant, but there is free coffee and cookies, plus a bakery nearby (walking distance unless you have mobility issues) that offers a 20% discount to hotel guests. The neighboring grocery store is also convenient and well-stocked (but no special discounts ;-). Our room was quite small, but comfortable, clean and quiet. Parking was easy and safe.

The hotel is really nice and clean. Plenty of parking space, located near a supermarket. It’s a bit far from restaurants so you will need to use car/bus to get anywhere.

Lots of parking options, close walk to grocery store, staff changed towels. Doorbell didnt seem to work, so difficult to check in if you dont have cellular data to call the staff. Another guest had to let me in.

The hotel itself was quite comfortable, but the facilities ( tea and coffee )services were very poor. There was no fridge to store milk and no access to to a tap for water and cleaning plates etc.

Hat alles gut geklappt. Recht neu und modern eingerichtet. Wasserkocher oder ähnliches war nicht vorhanden, könnte aber kostenlos an der Rezeption benutzt werden.

Gutes preis-/leistungsverhältnis. Saubere zimmer mit du/wc. Gerne wieder. Parkplätze vorhanden.

We were fortunate enough to check in early without any issues as we landed that morning. The staff was friendly and check in was quick. Parking was easy and the hotel is conveniently located by Bonus and a bakery. Our hotel room was on the smaller side (compared to the other 3 hotels we stayed in Iceland), however we were only there for one night so we were able to manage. It was just two of us traveling with 2 carry on luggages and 1 backpack and thought it took up just enough space. Otherwise, we had a nice and restful one night stay. :)

Room was very dusty and generally quite unclean (many stray hairs, socks left on floor from previous guests). Staff were friendly, no concerns there. Area is pretty industrial, not very scenic. Convenient for getting out of the capital area and onto the road quickly though.

We traveled as a family of 4 with two kids. The room size was decent and beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. The only thing I would recommend is to have some signs in the lift/elevator to not touch or be near the walls since it was not the usual type of elevator but a freight/cargo/warehouse type of lift; where only the lift’s floor moves vertically. Other than that, decent stay.

Check-in and check-out process was smooth. Service was impeccable. Very clean facilities, hot water and comfy bed. We requested extra pillows, and they were kind and gave us two. Perfect place for a stop while traveling the ring road.

First night, doors were locked during the check in time. If we did not have access to wifi, we could not have gotten our keys. Second night, the keys did not work and we were locked out of the hotel. Staff was argumentative and not accommodating. Third night, staff failed to mention construction that blocked the entrance so we had to park 1/2 mile away. Rooms were very hot. Toilet and showers clogged.

Zona comoda da raggiungere dall'aeroporto. A pochi passi c'è un ristorante aperto fino alle 22, un supermercato e una caffetteria. La stanza piuttosto piccola e pulizia non adeguata. Il sedile del water con evidente macchia di urina.

Very small room for four persons. Hardly fitting in the room. The owner was nice and in the property most of the time.

Small and perfect for an overnight

Overprized,very small room, but clean. Friendly reception, unfortunately we couldn't say goodbye, everything was closed at 8am, no chance for even a coffee.

The owners were very kind and helpful! While the hotel is just outside Reykjavik, it was easy to get to the city and to some of Iceland’s nearby national treasures. The room was cozy and perfect for a short stay.

staff were very friendly and very helpful, the hotel was clean and did it’s job, only complaint was the room was very small, no place to put luggage and had to crawl on bed to get around

Inside is nice, clean and updated. The room was large and beds are comfortable. Shower in private bath is tight - needs a shelf to put shampoo, conditioner and other items. The location is next to a few warehouses but near good food and grocery.

The older couple took a while to check us in, not sure why. But, she walked us to our rooms and gave great service …after they finally figured out our online booking for 2 rooms. Right by a Bonus grocery store and bakery, but otherwise best for a quick stay ( such as before flying out the next day as we did).

Freundlicher persönlicher Empfang. Lediglich eine Übernachtung vor Abflug - waren zufrieden.

Staff wasn’t friendly

Good place to stay, it's far away from downtown, but it's convenient if you want to just stay overnight.

The location, you can walk to Bonus Supermarket.

This is VERY far away from the center of Reykjavik. I had to get two buses to travel in every day and they are (as far as I can tell)only every 30 minutes. As a result of its location there are very few facilities around the hotel. The bakery was good but I had to go into Reykjavik to get something decent that I didn't have to cook myself (which I couldn't do anyway as there was no facilities, not even a kettle in my room). I was aware it would be basic and I guess accounting for the fact that everything in Iceland is more expensive I suppose the cost reflects that but there were a few things that I would have expected to be standard like, for example a kettle in my room. The radiator/ drying rack in the bathroom didn't work and I was told to bring things downstairs to be dried. However this was a publicly accessable room and I wasn't willing to leave my very expensive walking boots there to be 'liberated' by simply anyone. On my final night I noticed a bare plug socket behind the chair in the corner which, had I noticed earlier would have resulted in me asking for a different room. Also the shower head was barely attached to the wall by a single screw which I only noticed wasn't intentional on my final night. As a base for exploring the environment outside the city (as long as you have your own transport) it's fine I guess but for a single person who is visiting for the first time I would recommend spending a bit more money to get closer to the city center.

Very good, sweet personal and easy access to the highway out of town - really nice when you wanna hike og see Iceland or go on trips.

Kópavogur er nabokommunen til Reykjavik. Jeg bestilte det minste rommet som var til den rimeligste prisen Selve hotellet er vanskelig å finne om man ikke har GPS eller lignende. Bygget er rett nytt, fin seng og fint baderom. Og veldig bra service, koselig!

Es una buena opcion a unos minutos de la capital con opciones para coner y hacer compras. La atencion de su personal es validad y amable.

Hôtel très confortable, parfait pour une première nuit en Islande, à proximité de deux lacs. Le petit-déjeuner n’est pas inclus mais il y a des gâteaux maison, du thé et du café à disposition et c’est gratuit. Les propriétaires sont accueillants. On peut se garer facilement. Il y a un supermarché et une boulangerie à côté. On peut dîner dans un excellent resto à proximité : 27 Mathús & bar. Je recommande !!!

Holel comodo y limpio cerca de Reykiavik. Desayuno de pago muy completo. Personal muy atento.

Die Dame an der Rezeption wusste sich nicht so ganz auf Englisch auszudrücken. Wir haben es dann aber hinbekommen. Guter Aufenthalt für die Nacht vor dem Rückflug. Es gibt kein Frühstück, das brauchten wir wegen dem Flug aber auch nicht.
