We stayed here for our first night in Iceland. We arrived earlier than check in time but he let us check in right away. It was smooth and easy. The elevator wasn't working so we had to carry our luggage to the first floor (downstairs). They had the sofa bed made and ready to go, which was appreciated. It also had a coat hook with about 5-6 hooks which was also appreciated. The room was large with lots of storage if needed. The elevator was fixed in the morning! We didn't eat the breakfast. I think it was 30 euros so we went and found something else. Good location and easy to get to.

Rooms were fairly basic but very clean! Breakfast was mixed, some days better than others, but such a great thing to have as even a meal out will cost you £20-£30 per person. Lots of info and leaflets around for anyone interested. Ample parking out the front of the hotel as well. Overall, excellent value and a great location, I’d stay here again!

Easy to find off the main route into Reykjavik from the airport. Suited us well as flexible, nice rooms, comfortable beds and breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff who directed us to a supermarket to pick up some things for dinner which we could heat up in their microwave.

Our room was in a corner with 3 huge dirty laundry carts, right outside the door. They remained there the entire 3 days/2 nights we were at the hotel. They did not have any complementary instant coffee/tea, but they did have an electric kettle. The shower area design was weird that when you showered, the water would run out the bathroom door and we had to dam it with a bunch of towels to prevent it from overflowing. The parking was ample but it was often full especially when you arrive late. The breakfast buffet was kinda chaotic but had somewhat fair selection.

I was assigned a basement/lower ground level room. The toilet has bad smell kept coming out the entire time:( The only good thing is the late check in (after 12am) availability and the key reason why this property was booked for my stay in the area. In the regard, the property delivers.

Dissatisfied with our room as it was lacking cleanliness. Floors were gritty with dirt, sheets on bed were stained so I went to the front desk and asked for a set of clean sheets which they did provide to me quickly but didn’t offer to send housekeeping, coffee stains spattered on the wall, desperately needed painting as walls were marked everywhere with scratches and window sills were dirty and clearly evident with dirt. Bathroom was clean, towels were clean. Disappointed for the price we paid.

Really spacious and clean family room. Sofa bed was a bit squeaky but other beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a little basic and got very busy at some points but can’t complain overall this was excellent value and great location if you have a car.

The hotel was great, nice and clean. The only negative were the window coverings. They are very thin and didn’t block much light at all which made it very hard to sleep since the sun never sets this time of year.

Conscientious location. Check-in was very easy. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She recommended dining options, asked about our travels for the day and made suggestions for additional sights to see on our route for the day. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was included…a nice selection of breads, cereals, yogurt, and fruit.

We checked in with friends haveing booked 4 rooms. Desk clerk was very rude. Made no effort to request for rooms with Queen bed, or to accommodate us on same floor, One room was right next to elevator with continuous noise. Refused to relocate onto another room. Barbara at the front desk was outstanding! She took care of everything we requested with great efficiency. Our flight was early, and when we checked out at 6:30 a.m., the attendant on duty had five ‘to-go’ breakfast bags ready for us. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

I emailed ahead to request an early check in, which was denied. However, they said: “we may keep your luggage free of charge “, which they denied when we went to the hotel earlier. The staff is not friendly at all.

The room was very clean. In our first room, the radiator dial was broken and the room was quite warm. When we spoke to the front desk, they came right up to look at it. When we got back from dinner, they gave us another room since they couldn’t fix the issue. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a great property for last night in Iceland. Not really in Reykjavik. It’s in a suburb on the way to the airport. The area is super safe. It’s basically in an office park. Place is a ghost town after dark. Really easy on off of the freeway. Smallish hotel so easy check in and check out. Plenty of parking. High quality staff. Very clean. New.

My stay at 201 Hotel was average. The breakfast was very ordinary, and I found it unwelcoming that there were signs everywhere warning not to take food out or risk being charged. Another concern was the building layout—there was only one entrance door. If you park at the back, you have to walk about minutes in an area with no lighting. On a rainy and cold day, this is really inconvenient and uncomfortable.

Nice stop before heading to the airport the next day. Breakfast was pretty plain, with an average amount of options. Very few channels on the TVs and the room was pretty basic. Shower worked perfectly and the head stayed in place.

It was there worst breakfast I ever got. Other guests had their own bread and sausages. One cheap cheese, one sausage both the cheapest they could get. One type of bread (toast). Orange juice was muffy. Best the cereals: 4 different types. And not enough tables with nearly no space between but mostly dirty. The rooms where good so only book when you need no breakfast.
