Loved the hotel! Seemed very reasonable for being right in downtown Cleveland. Parking was expensive at $52/night, but the valet service was relatively fast. Nearby to lots of ice cream and coffee shops, and the neighborhood felt safe.

Not a fan of the non existent parking….as there was not any. If there is an event going on when you check in pay for the valet, definitely worth it rather than the hassle of finding parking. Something I wish I’d knew prior to arrival.

After a long drive, the Kimpton Schofield was a welcome sight. We opted for the overnight valet parking, and it was a worthwhile expense. The valet staff was helpful and made the check-in process smooth. We used the drink tickets we received at the hotel's restaurant, Betts. The food was surprisingly good, and the live music and bar with sports on were a nice bonus after staying at some less-than-stellar places off the highway. The beds were a definite highlight—very comfortable linens. They also treated our dog very well, which is always a plus. The complimentary morning coffee was a nice touch, too. Being downtown, there were some obvious downsides. The street noise from motorcycles was loud, a problem the hotel seems to be aware of, judging by the white noise machine and earplugs provided. More notably, the immediate area had a distinct, unpleasant odor, particularly of urine, and there was a sizable homeless population. While I didn't feel unsafe during the daytime, it's something to be aware of.

Had to use valet to park and it cost 56 dollars for the night. It was very noisy as its right in downtown but that also made it convenient to walk to shopping and places to eat. The staff were nice.

A decent, clean and affordable hotel in downtown Cleveland. Excellent coffee in the morning in the lobby. Highly recommend Betts restaurant located next to the lobby.

We had a great stay over the 4th of July weekend. Walking distance to Progressive Field . Our room was on the 5th floor on the corner. They provide a white noise machine and earplugs to drown out the city noise. We slept great. The restaurant is amazing we ordered room service the french toast was a special treat. A very cool grocery store across the street Heinens was convenient for stocking up on water and snacks. The Lobby has a great comfortable feel , we enjoyed hanging out there at the end of our evenings. The only drawback no coffee in the room but they do provide excellent free coffee with all fixings in the lobby.

Beautifully restored historic building, the restaurant downstairs was so convenient and the food was good! Parking was outrageously priced at $52 for overnight.

Great stay in Cleveland— Hotel has a wonderful friendly staff, and room and bathroom were both larger than expected and very clean. Extras like the complimentary morning coffee and wine happy hours in the beautiful lobby were so appreciated!! Would love to stay again in the future.

Beautiful hotel with great staff! Restaurant Betts was fabulous. The room was exceptional with the most outstanding bathroom I’ve ever had in a hotel. You could fit an NFL offensive line in the shower it was that spacious. The only downside of this place is the parking. Yes, they have valet parking but it’s $48 per day. If you want to self park it’s $28 every time you want to use your car. If you are staying at a hotel like this, self parking should be free to guests. The valet staff was great though. I never had to wait more than 3-5min for my vehicle. Free coffee every morning and wine in the afternoon who does that? Great place to stay and if I’m in Cleveland again… This is my place!

Perfect place when traveling with a dog! No extra fees to have our husky with us and they even had lil treats for him at check in! There’s a few parks easy to walk to nearby as well

Clean hotel and staff was friendly

There was mold/mildew in the shower.

AC struggled to work, floor was damp on carpet, bathroom had smell of mildew or body odor. We rented several rooms and this was the case in each. If you get a window room, the noise outside will wake you up throughout the evening.

Towels had holes and our bedding had blood stains. 😞

Pro: good location, nice staff, hotel was nicely decorated, bed was comfortable Con: this hotel is pet friendly. You can tell. Carpet had pet stains. It was the biggest issue. There are no non-pet hotels in downtown Cleveland. I would recommend they have floors only for pet owners to be able to offer guest rooms without pet stains or pet smells, we probably won’t return here as I was sneezing all night, would have been fine if only for this reason.

Sold as a 4plus hotel and with a hefty price point. Bathtub was full of mould.

I booked this Kimpton thinking it would be similar to the Kimpton in Pittsburgh we stayed at, but it was not. The rooms were not as nice (the one we stayed in had the windows painted black), the bathroom shower wasn’t very clean, and the room in general just looked a little run down. The location was good and the staff were very nice, but I don’t think I would stay at this hotel again.

Definitely not a 4.5 hotel- more like a 3.5 star hotel. Room had dirt lint all over the place and the shower had hair from the other guest.

Very disappointing. Room was not clean and no bottled water in the room. Not worth the price that was paid.

We were very impressed with our stay! Clean and SUPER comfortable bed. I think the thing I was most impressed with was the sound machine that had tons of sounds and a dim light around the bottom. Most hotels we stay at, we completely forget about having any kind of noise to sleep with and this was so great! If you want breakfast you have to pay at the restaurant or buy vouchers ahead of time. Each voucher is good for up to $22.50. Any leftover goes towards a tip. Everything looked clean and up to par and the valet service was exceptional! Check in was a breeze. We would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again at some point.

It was loud from the traffic to the dumpster being emptied! The bathroom door didn’t work well and we had to force it closed! The hotel is beautiful and located within walking distance to everything. Cleveland its self is going down hill with all the pot smoking going on!

The bathroom was fantastic! Two separate entrances with two separate sinks and a great shower! The whole room was great, will look for Kimpton hotels next time I travel

The property was located near several food options that were walkable. Several attractions were also walkable in the area, Rock and Roll hall of fame and Progressive Field. The room was clean with a giant bathroom and probably the best water pressure for a shower I have ever experienced. The only downside was I was on the second floor facing the street which was extremely loud at night. They do provide ear plugs.

This property was too expensive for what it was. The room had a closed in feeling and a brick wall to look at- web site should say that. Too many small inventions led to one big disappointment.

Building seems to be in great shape, decent sized room with great sized bathroom. Very quiet, AC worked great.

Room was below average, A/C and Bathroom Fan were both broken.

Can't beat the location of this hotel if you are in town for a baseball game or event at the arena. Pros: - Location: hotel located on a main road near several bars and food establishments. Very short walk to ballpark/arena. Area was well trafficked and seemed very safe. - Clean and Comfy: Room was clean when we arrived and the bed was very comfortable - Staff: Staff was approachable and nice. Valet staff was very welcoming - Parking: Valet available but we elected to just park at one of the several parking ramps in the direct vicinity. No issues. Typical "big city" prices at the ramp for overnight parking. Cons: - Temperature: Despite adjusting the thermostat down as low as it would go (65F), the room never really cooled down much and certainly didn't get anywhere near 65 degrees. Fortunately the weather was cool while we were there and the windows do open a small ways so that helped to cool the room down. This came with obvious noise issues while sleeping however. - No shower door: This is clearly just a design choice for the hotel but the walk-in shower had no door so only half of it was covered by a glass wall. Bizarre choice as it ended up making a mess in the bathroom with splashing water. Not the end of the world but an odd choice. Overall: The hotel was in good shape and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Can't beat the location if in town for baseball. Would absolutely stay again.

Shower doesn’t have a door and the glass that’s there isn’t big enough to stop the water. So, the bathroom floor and anything on the bottom shelf of the vanity was soaked. Get extra towels for the floor. Water pressure is really hard so that doesn’t help the door less design.

Great location central to the city. A few blocks from the baseball, basketball, and football stadiums. ALLOW DOGS which us the reason we stay at Kimptons all the time. Friendly staff at this one for sure. Restaurant had a cool selection of food and it was pretty good. Our room was on the backside and looked into a brick wall about 10 feet away so that was not cool. Im guessing thats the view for that whole side of the hotel. Not good.

From the efficient, friendly staff at check in to the drinks & dinner at the bar the service was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

This place was wonderful! A huge shoutout to the front desk staff who really made the stay for a wedding in town amazing. They made us all feel seen and like friends, even with FIVE different wedding guest groups staying this weekend.

My reservation was cancelled. I drove over 4 hrs to get to Cleveland. I enjoyed the day and went to check in and my reservation was canceled by the facility. Because they tried to charge my card the day before. IDK why but yea, no emails sent to justify or explain. Just cancelled. Overall just bad customer service. And this happened to me before, be careful when traveling.

The front desk staff was extraordinary!

The staff was not helpful at all and a little rude. The girl at the valet told us to park in a parking deck, which should’ve cost us $14 a night and ended up costing us $49. That was very upsetting. The room was $400 and they didn’t even offer park. This is a hotel in Cleveland Ohio not New York which I’ve been too and paid less a night with parking. But they did offer complementary coffee, and tea in the morning… that was meant to be sarcastic. I would never recommend to stay at this hotel, and I can definitely tell you that I will never go back again. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

I was quoted $680 when I arrived. But when I checked in I was told $1080, non-negotiable. Unacceptable. The staff seemed clueless half the time. The bathroom had no ventilation fan so after a shower the entire bathroom is steamy and remains steamy for hours. This also caused a musty smell to linger in there for most days, even with the window open. I requested additional pillows and towels, but I had to repeat my request 3 times before she understood what I was asking for. When housekeeping came by they took the extra towels and never replenished the additional ones I asked for. Housekeeping doesn’t seem to come at any specific time. It was random times each day. Good location if you want to be downtown but otherwise this was way overpriced. The fact that I was quoted $680 and forced to pay $1080 is frankly unacceptable though.

Location is great, close to everything. Front desk staff is dismissive, valet service is slow but they're much friendlier. The common areas are nice and well maintained, the rooms not so much. The room was loud, poor noise insulation. Very poor job in cleaning, otherwise had all the essentials.. Would try elsewhere for the price.

Our stay was perfect! We came in for a Browns game. The stadium was walkable. Many restaurants and bars around. The hotel was very nice! Everyone was friendly. Our room was top notch. We will definitely be back.

The street view is nice, but there is a reason that there is complimentary ear plugs. Tremendous amounts of noise at night. Friday night was horrible

The location is ideal. We had dinner reservations at the Marble Room on Saturday night and tickets to the Guardians game at Progressive Field on Sunday. Both were an easy walk from the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay in Cleveland, and this hotel is the biggest reason. Walkable to Progressive Field, and the R&R Hall of Fame (Uber back, it’s uphill). So many good restaurants in walking distance, but you can just go to Betts! Great breakfast. Room was nothing special, bed was comfy, but the bathroom was very nice. Parking, like all major cities, is $$$. Would definitely stay here again

I usually stay here when I come back home to Ohio, but I was disappointed in this stay. The room just seemed old and crusty. Lots of rust in the bathroom. I’m pretty sure I was servers old food at the restaurant. The broccoli looked like it had sat out for hours. The drinks were amazing though -shoutout to the woman that made them!

Great spot. The restaurant was perfect for breakfast and I loved the lobby atmosphere.

Everything was great, all staff were a credit to the hotel, food was immense, especially breakfast. The room has a fridge, which is always handy, CVS 30 yards away for supplies for said fridge ie cold beer 😂😂 Great choice of draught beer in the bar too. All in all a great trip and I will definitely return if I'm back in Cleveland. Housekeeping every day 👍

Property and staff at the hotel were awesome. Valet and front desk were absolutely amazing. Kind and super accommodating. Unfortunately had some poor experiences at Betts.

The Kimpton is a nice hotel for sure. Great location thats super accesable, and has valet parking. Bright, open, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and amazing showers. Has a good lively vibe overall, and the front desk staff is very nice. The bad about the hotel is the service at the restaurant. Mind you it's not "the hotel" but it very much is part of the hotel. The food is quite good, so long as they have what you want (sorry, no salmon, no pasta...), but with the lone exception of one of their bartenders, the staff and management there are pretty rough. They are understaffed, overworked and miserable. There is no urgency or care and the manager seems more interested with being present than actually assisting his team. Highly frustrating in hotel option.

The property was lovely. We selected it because we were traveling late and wanted to make sure there was a restaurant. We got there at 8:40 and was told the kitchen was closed (20 minutes before the stated closing time). The bartender did manage to get the kitchen to serve us but it was a poor first impression. The front desk person was friendly at check in but the rest of the staff we encountered were not very welcoming. The valet did not even acknowledge us when we were waiting for our car in the morning. When we dropped it off in the evening, even though they clearly saw us through the window, we had to come in and ask if they would take the vehicle. The bartender's initial greeting was not very friendly. A lady came in looking for change and she was asked why she needed change. (It was for a tip by the way.) Things got friendlier while were waiting for our food but the crew could use some customer service training.
