Very convenient location to walk to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Wasn’t planning on doing the valet parking but it was too convenient not to. Well worth the $42.

I called Monday to confirm reservations for Friday and for some reason on Friday the reservations were hard to find. We had an extended wait checking into our room. In addition we used the provided valet service at the entrance of the facility who lost our vehicle key. Our key was never found causing us to miss half of the event we booked in coordination to our stay. The manager on the evening shift was as helpful as he could be but as time grew and our frustrations grew we weren’t offered, and denied, compensation for our stay. We were told the valet was a 3rd party even though the valet stand represented the hotel. I feel there was no responsibility taken by the hotel service provided and quite frankly this hectic chain of events effected our entire evening that was carefully planned to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. At this rate I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or return. I am now stuck with making a claim to replace the lost key and had to have a spare delivered from almost 2 hours away! I am disappointed with the hotels accountability for a valet service they employ.

Pros: Staff is wonderful. Pillows are great. Air conditioning is perfect. 2-minute walk to the Soldiers & Sailors Monument. 5-minute walk to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Cons: Elevators were a bit wonky. Only 1 ice machine in the whole building. Rooms have no over-head lighting- only lamps. Also, my room had no real window. Breakfast ENDS at 9am. Valet takes a long time when you’re checking out in the morning.

Pool was filthy. I took pictures. I wouldn't let my son swim. We got an indoor pool for reason, since its cold in november. Was very disappointed how dirty it was. The breakfast area was a mess and i was there at 7 am.

Really needs a better maintenance team. Alot of wallpaper peeling, rust on the door frames, black mold around the windows, wall light fixtures were loose, bed felt like multiple platforms put together that were not level or flush, window treatment torn and missing its molding. The bathtub had black mold and was missing the soaps inside the wal dispensers. The pool water was not chemically balanced, made my kids barf all night. Breakfast meats were cheap, soggy and undercooked.

Honestly overall it was a okay place. Our room was large and I liked the kitchenette! My only complaint was the room was extremely dirty. carpet was very stained, couch was also very stained, and walls had grime all over including something that resembled 💩. But for the price and size, and we were only there overnight it was fine. I think a refresh and deep clean would really make the place amazing! Staff was wonderful, and breakfast was great! I would stay again for a quick night for sure.

The facility needs work. Not a staff issue - it's an ownership issue. The bed was awful, we didn't sleep well during our stay. The shower leaked all over the floor it has been for a while the walls are molded and have water damage present. The carpets are severely stained and the breakfast was subpar.however the staff and valet were wonderful and accommodating and pleasant. Glad it was only a two day stay. We won't be back though.

Hotel room was clean, no qualms with staff. But the room was “tired”. Broken light barely hanging on wall by bed. Other light by bed had no shade. Drywall peeling off around shower. Scuff marks on walls. Beds lumpy. Too many better properties in the area.

Towels hooks were not fastened in so when you put a towel on it, it fell out of the wall. The same thing with the soda dispenser in the showers. They were empty but bottles were there with product. Wallpaper over showers was peeling. Shower doors were off track and hard to open.

What I wish I’d have known about this hotel is that there are several rooms with no windows to the actual outside. It’s just the way it was configured and not much the hotel can do about it. They tried to add some light by adding windows into a hall. I just am a person who needs a window to the outside. Otherwise staff great, valet was easy and on a not crowded street. Rooms are huge.

The quality of the beds is poor. They are super cheap. The walls are very thin, and sound travels.. There was a party in a room next to us, and I called the front desk at 3:10AM, but nothing was done. It was not addressed and the noise continued until 4:30AM.

We really enjoyed our stay at Home2 Suites. Our only complaints were: 1) The HVAC in the room was very loud when turning on and off, it woke us up throughout both nights of our stay. 2) The breakfast options weren't great for gluten free people. All that being said, the staff was very friendly, the room was clean, the kitchenette had dishes for our use, and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it to people looking for a decent place to stay at a reasonable rate. Very walkable location.

The rooms were very nice. They were spacious with comfortable beds and the separate sitting area was a great bonus!! The thing to know about this hotel. All rooms look out the window to an interior wall. No room windows look outide.

Our heat wasn’t working correctly and eventually only ac was coming out Eventually was at 4am horrible trying to sleep I contacted front desk in morning and they said they would’ve moved us I told them I just would like a late check out as I couldn’t sleep all night she rudely declined I’ve asked for management she never told manager I contacted the hotel again manager never responded

The General Manager Ben was exceptional. One of the nicest people I've met. Eager to tell us things to do. the restaurant he mentioned was delicious. I watched him the next morning helping the workers by serving breakfast and emptying trash cans. he mad our stay comfortable. Will be here again

I was traveling with an ADA certified service dog for an anxiety disorder and was told that anxiety was not a recognized disability in Indiana. It caused more anxiety being told it wasn't real. They did later correct their error, but it was still a very uncomfortable check in.

The service at Home2 Suites downtown was the literal best we’ve ever had at a hotel. Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to genuinely care for us. The breakfast was also delightful and the staff there was so patient and helpful. We had a toilet issue and the manager was up dealing with it in moments all with a smile on his face. Well done team. If we are ever in need of a hotel in the area again we know right where we will go!

Everything was excellent except the breakfast. Poor choice of foods crowded space with limited seating and fruit containers that were near impossible to get the food out of. I expected a lot more for a hotel that had so many positives.

Save your money — this hotel is a disappointment. Mold in the body wash dispenser, a flooding toilet, and a broken hair dryer were just the start. After complaining, we were moved to a downgraded room. Breakfast had no food available. Many things simply don’t work here. Look elsewhere for a better stay.

The hotel was very clean but dated. You could tell some things were worn outm the elevators were past their inspection dates and one kept having issues. The pool tables were rusty but the pool itself was clean. The rooms and housekeeping were fantastic. The breakfast was a little strange. The bacon wasn't real, the sausage was a pale white color, and the rest of the hot food was dry and tasteless. The staff were friendly enough but seemed overly busy and understaffed. Same for the valet service it was rather expensive for it taking 20+ minutes for them to retrieve your car.
