Stayed 4 nights

We enjoyed our stay at Barony Castle. The hotel grounds were beautiful with some lovely woodland walks. We really enjoyed dinner. The food was delicious with lots of variety to choose from given we are vegetarians and dinner service was good. Unfortunately there was a wedding the night we arrived so we didn’t get a good nights sleep because of the very loud, thumping music until 1am. My towels were not changed for the first three nights of my stay even though I put them in the bathtub for changing. I’m not sure if they ran out of clean towels because of the wedding? Reception couldn’t explain and eventually I just had to pick up clean towels from reception. The rooms were unbearably warm. For the price we paid you would expect air conditioned rooms. I mean even Premier Inn rooms are air conditioned. The bathrooms were mouldy and in need of updating as were the rooms and carpet as it was worn out. On the last night my room wasn’t cleaned. I mentioned to Reception but they couldn’t explain why.
