Staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was clean; bathroom smelled a little musty, but it's an old building. Breakfast was pretty basic. We were "upgraded", although we had purposely booked a room with a terrace? Apparently the room we booked would have just been a twin bed, although it did not read that way on Expedia. Area was very walkable with lots of dining and shopping options. The POOL...unusable as it was taken over by pigeons. Pigeons in the pool, around the pools...which means bird poop everywhere.

Great location - 1 block from the old city gates and 1 blocks to the harbour/boardwalk. Rooms are nice: very comfortable beds, nice hot showers and all the amenities that you would expect. Coffee in your room, fridge, etc. Only negatives are: Need more places to han/store clothes, the hottub could be drained and fixed (only got to 35.5c, so more like a tepid bath). The bar outside is noisy and stays open until 2:00am. Service: The staff are fantastic, including Pedro/Mariana on the front desk. The free underground parking was a definite plus!

Lidt spøjst indrettet værelse med knap så privat toilet. Madrassen var alt for hård desværre. Men fin lille terresse. Deres Spa var lækker, fordi den kunne bookes kun til privat brug. Men det skulle vi spørge om. Vi fin ikke meget info fra starten. De havde også en udendørs pool, med det var ikke sæson til brug. Vi var der i julen 2025.

The property was downtown ponta Delgada and was within walking distance to restaurants, stores, etc. there is a “fitness center” but the work out equipment is antique, there are no wipes or towels or water. The parking is in a garage but is very difficult to get into and out of as it is located on a pedestrian street and is extremely narrow to enter and exit.

Hotel is well located in the center of Ponta Delgada couple of minutes from city gates. Property is well maintained, has garage (but challenging to get in and out and suitable for small cars). Rooms are good size, some kitchen amenities provided (water, tea, coffee, microwave, bottle opener, glasses, etc). Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is included

Emplacement parfait, avec un parking très bien. La chambre est propre et spacieuse. Le personnel est sympa. Le choix du petit déjeuner est limité mais correct. PAR CONTRE ne comptez pas sur la piscine. Il y a plein de fientes de pigeons autour ainsi que des plumes autour et dans l'eau. Et ce chaque jour. Dommage, surtout pour le prix élevé de la chambre

Great hotel right in the centre of the town. Sophia was a great help at the desk too with getting us reservations and calling us cabs. The hot tub and sauna was by reservation which was nice so you get it all to yourself. And theres a nice cafe and bar across the way from the hotel so you can get a close final drink for the night.

Very nice comfortable hotel with a nice private terrace. Driving in Ponte Delgada is challenging and getting in and out of the parking garage here is very difficult even with a very small vehicle. Also the street is blocked half way down, and Google Maps will try and take you up the street the wrong way as it thinks it's one way. You must enter and exit the street from the north for Hintze's parking garage.

Évier qui fuyait mais apparemment " ça arrive de temps en temps" Compliqué pour aller au parking, il faut prendre un sens interdit. Bel appartement, mais beaucoup de calcaire et trace au niveau de la salle de bain.

We had a terrace room that was spacious and inviting. The kitchenette allowed us flexibility in dining and keeping snacks( read cheeses) cool. Staff was super friendly and although steep and tight the parking garage was a huge bonus.

We stayed in the 4th floor suite which had not one but two terraces. The room was huge, comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchenette with induction hob and microwave is useful for preparing meals in the room although we think the fridge didn’t work unless you have the key card in the room for electricity. Nicely decorated as is although some more colour/wall decorations would make the place feel a bit more lively. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, especially when we asked them to book the excellent spa with jacuzzi. Breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary but fine. Location is very convenient right in the centre of PDL with many bars and restaurants around.

It was a great stay. I was thrilled to have parking. The parking is hard for some drivers. I prob wouldn't stay back in PDL but this hotel was great cause the street is on is lively but the windows stop all noise. Fun spot!

Appreciated the free on-site parking garage (though missed the road a few times, as it doesn't like it should be possible to drive down!). Unfortunately didn't get time to visit the pool, spa or gym, but the room was wonderful. Breakfast was lacking in vegan options. Perfect location in the middle of town. Very quiet as soon as I closed the window.

Hotel is ideally located and is great value for the cost. There are lots of dining options in the area and plenty of sightseeing. The staff is super friendly and only too willing to accommodate your needs. Rooms are quite comfortable, modern and clean. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful small hotel. Both the Sofia's at the reception desk were so helpful and friendly. Ideal area to walk to everything. The "spa' was great. There was a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna which you booked for free so that it was private. Breakfast was included as well. Definitely would stay again and recommend.

I didn’t sleep for more than an hour as you could hear bar noise until 4am every night. I asked to change rooms but they were apparently full. They said they’d move me up a floor but still at front of hotel so didn’t see the point. I did request a quieter room when booking. Car park was full when we arrived and when we did get a spot, it was almost impossible to park. Awful. I was exhausted as I didn’t sleep a wink. Actual hotel and staff were nice though. Made me cut my holiday short and book a flight home as I was exhausted.
