Not as advertised at all. Despite 24 hr check in, the doors were locked with a U-lock. One of our rooms had mold in it. No one in the building spoke any English. I believe there was no one else staying at the hotel. Fortunately we only stayed there one night.

I've chosen dragon Sapa Hotel after a very bad experience with another one. The welcome was absolutely perfect, the host, Ms Lieu Ahn, is the nicest one ever and made me feel like at home. She is super helpful and you can see she really cares about the guests. The room was clean, big, comfortable and full with all amenities. Excellent value for price, I definitely recommend.

The breakfast was underwhelming. The view was of dirt instead of city as booked and paid for. The hot water in the shower lasted 3 minutes at its best. The bidet sprayer hose was comically short. The maid service was atrocious. My 7 year old makes the bed much better.
