Hotel was well located, fairly quiet upstairs in rooms, had good food, Super market close by. Esplanade was good for relaxing walk to Wynnum. Fairly quiet and plenty of places for food and drinks. Live bands were a great bonus.

Friendly staff. Checked in after nine at night was no problem. Staff always around though you may have to enter through gaming rooms. Hotel has restaurant, bars and pokies. Well located in town with sea view from balcony rooms. Restaurant is very good. Rooms are spacious. Could maybe use more hanging space. Great stay!

The property is undergoing extensive renovations which didn't impact me as I was out all day every day of my stay and the work didn't start until 07:00am. But the only bar operating is in the gaming room and there is no restaurant. In saying that there are several bars and dining options within easy walking distance. The room rate was also discounted to reflect that not all the hotel facilities are available. It isn't a flash hotel but the room was clean, the bed comfortable and I felt safe in the area. There is an IGA and bakery and bottle shop directly opposite which was convenient. I would stay there again.

Nice small hotel in Manly, great food, easy no-fuss free parking. Appears that the cleaning staff walked out of my room mid-clean and left cleaning chemicals in my bathroom instead of soap, etc., but was at least good to see it was being sanitised.

The property was undergoing renovations and therefore access to the building was by walking past the public bar and all the drunk smokers which was not ideal. My shower dripped and required a towel in the shower base to block the noise, there were no instructions in the room regarding wifi etc and I couldn't work out how to turn off the light behind the tv so it was on all night and I could hear every word spoken in the room next door. Campbell was great and carried my bag up the stairs but there was only so much he could do under the circumstances.

The accommodation is old and run down. The room was dirty the bathroom had mold growing in the wet areas, bad. The room I had was between the shared toilet and shower and was noisy. On the positive the restaurant was nice and the meals were good. I thought the room was expensive for an old pub room, and there's no excuse for the cleanliness. Go buy a bottle of Gone In 30 seconds, would work wonders? Never again.

Place needs a thorough cleaning. A pretty rundown hotel. It could be something special. Restaurant was fairly modern and food was good. Air conditioning unit in the room was mouldy inside and we quickly turned it off when it filled the room with a musty mildew smell. Would I stay again…no

We decided to stay here as family live nearby and its a bit cramped! It was a good stay on the whole especially because of its location. We stayed in the slightly more expensive side of the hotel away from the bars below and the street. Good decision. However, there was only one problem. We were at the other end of the hotel and getting hot water was almost impossible. First day warm water eventually arrived after running the shower for what seemed 10 minutes, in fact the time it took to fill the jug and have a cup of tea. Second day it was worse - we gave up altogether. This is a major problem that had to be looked at. Other than that, pleasant.

It’s ok for a couple of nights, rooms were quite big and roomy and very clean. There wasn’t any reception staff you had to go and find someone but they weren’t too long in coming. It can be a little noisy in the evening as there is a pub attached and a bar opposite. There’s no breakfast facilities on the premises but there is a couple of cafes within a few minutes walk and the location is very handy for the front and the marina.

What a great place to stay at Manly. Pub has been renovated and the rooms were 4 1/2 stars. Clean fully renovated and ensuite. We chose a balcony room which had a small french style balcony. Great restaurants and bars nearby. Manly Boat Harbour was great too. Car park out the back, they aaid it has security cameras. Had to walk through the bars to get to the reception. Would stay here again.
