I recently spent a wonderful week at Vincci The Mint, perfectly located in the center of Madrid. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome — especially Claudia, whose kindness and professionalism were exceptional. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, with the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and the Prado Museum all within walking distance. My room was spacious, spotless, and I was delighted to receive an upgrade to a balcony room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect after a day of exploring the city. Breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay — varied, delicious, and beautifully served. Special thanks to Antonio, whose warm welcome and thoughtful recommendations made every morning a pleasure. I would like to make a recommendation for this hotel. I travel alot and will make a rating 1-5 Location: 5 it is in the center of the center Rooms: the rooms are new furnitures but still vintage. Clean and beds great. Housekeeping: 4.5 they clean until 20:00 clock great housekeeping. Reception: 4.5 always smiling fast good service helps you with what you need. Breakfast: 4 high quality breakfast, great service food comes hot and very good service. It is just a small area with space for 10 people if it is full you have to wait. Price varies between 15-25 euro, they should keep it for 15 euro. But else very great breakfast. Parking: 2,5 parking expensive and located 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Overall rating: 4.5, very good hotel. I reccomend for others !

Soy fan de los hoteles Vincci. Tienes todo lo mejor. Habitaciones espaciosas, cómodas, completas, limpieza impecable, amenidades, decoradas con buen gusto, buenas ubicaciones. Todo el personal es súper amable y destaca por ese profesionalismo con el que atienden todo. El desayuno que ofrecen es delicioso, lo sirven hasta 2 Pm haciendo más libre y placentero el despertar sin carreras. Cabe destacar la calidez con la que nos atendió Nolsen con su gran sonrisa, Diego súper atento y gentil. Todo el personal de bebidas y alimentos, son súper amables y agradables. Seguro regresaremos felices. Éxito siempre para la gran cadena Vincci que cada vez crece más en excelentes lugares!

Fantastisk hotell. Vi har vært på reise gjennom hele Europa fra Norge og vært på mange hotell. Vi gir dette beste karakter til personale, service, renhold og flott rom med god seng. Alltid litt utfordringer i store byer med parkering men det gikk fint. Sentralt hotell og fin avstand til det meste man kan drømme om.

The Mint is located right on Gran Via, which both good and bad at the same time, due to the convenience that it provides but also the inconvenience (noise, parking, etc.). If you are on a lower floor on a weekend, noise might be an issue. The hotel staff is very responsive and highly commendable. We noticed that the floor on the first room were given was dirty and needed to be steam cleaned. We brought that to their attention and offered to give us an upgraded room for our stay while they were cleaning the old one. The breakfast at the Vincci is also interesting. You order fresh of a menu of items, but it is considered buffet and you can order as much or as little as you want to. It really does work and everything we ate there was delicious, especially the croissants and home made pastries.

Staff was fabulous, and the hotel has a beautiful lobby and sitting areas. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The only issue I had was the AC/heat, which didn’t work very well. I prefer a cool room for sleeping, but on a Dec morning want heat in the morning. Ot would take well over an hour for the room to even warm up a bit. I advised the staff and was told that it was normal for heat or cooling to take 45-60 min to heat/cool the room. After, almost two hours waiting for heat, I asked for another room. The staff moved me with no problem, but it was the same in the next room. Rooms did have nice thick robes which helped with the morning chill, but actual heat in the room would have been much nicer. Can’t imagine staying here in the summer when temps are 40+ and waiting 2 hours for your room to cool down.

The property is conveniently located at the bottom of Gran Via which isn’t as populated and busy, it’s quiet with easy access and walking distance to Puerta del Sol, Salamanca, Plaza Mayor etc. Very clean and elegant, staff was also very helpful and accommodating, only reason for my 4 stars vs 5 stars is because the AC in my room broke late at night — staff was very helpful, thankfully it was quite chilly outside and I opened the windows.

Dejligt hotel og god beliggenhed, med gå afsted til det meste. Masser af butikker, seværdigheder, og restauranter lige uden for døren. Der er lydisoleret vinduer, så du kan sove ud mod gaden uden en lyd. Meget hjælpsomt og imødekommende personale. Der er endda cromecast på tvét, desværre kan den ikke nå internettet og virker derfor ikke, medbring evt. et HDMI kabel hvis du vil streame til tv. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Great hotel option right on the Gran Via in the middle of everything: Hip, upscale celebratory atmosphere. Highly recommend for any stay in Madrid. We were upgraded to a suite which was spacious and nice with a sitting area. Comfortable bedding and very quiet. We stayed on backside (not Gran Via) which was perfect for us.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the property itself is decent, as well as most of the staff. My experience was wholly soured by the unprofessional and downright rude behavior of the manager, Juan. Actually he ruined my day. I stay for a couple of weeks at this place during this summer. While the staff, in general, was very good trained I did not notice the same with the manager. Thanks to Cristina who offer me a solution to my request. I travel frequently and have stayed in many hotels, but I have never encountered a manager as unfit for their role as Juan. I even think that this behavior has a component of racism. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, and unfortunately, Juan seems to have missed that memo. I would advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere unless the managemeboth guests and his staff. .

First, staff was so friendly and helpful. We arrived very early, they took our bags while we got changed and let us know when our rooms were ready. Great breakfast and don't forget the rooftop bar. Perfectly located in Centro district, very walkable or metro nearby if needed.

The property is conveniently located at the bottom of Gran Via which isn’t as populated and busy, it’s quiet with easy access and walking distance to Puerta del Sol, Salamanca, Plaza Mayor etc. Very clean and elegant, staff was also very helpful and accommodating, only reason for my 4 stars vs 5 stars is because the AC in my room broke late at night — staff was very helpful, thankfully it was quite chilly outside and I opened the windows.

Great hotel location for sightseeing. Local eateries very average especially Baracca Paella restarant, but Honest Greens opposite hotel was great for healthy and very tasty breakfast options. Service response to my minor tea issue was excellent and showed great hotel response. TV volume in room was too restricted to 30% of max and could have been a little higher. Bathroom very spacious but room space a little tight. Noise from traffic on Grand Via was well restricted by double glazing. Overall highly recommended.

Rooms were clean and AC was nice and cool during the heat wave. The elevator is slow, but that’s normal with older buildings in Europe. Will definitely be staying here again if we visit Madrid.

Last minute booking and no regrets! The service was amazing and the location was great! The newly renovated hotel is comfortable and priced comparatively to others in the Chueca neighbourhood. Do yourself a favor and include the breakfast with your booking. 21€ for an à la carte all you can eat breakfast (served till 1:30pm!) was well worth it!

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. It was a great location. Bed was very clean and comfortable and room was decent size. The breakfast was good. Al a carts and nicely served. We brought our family back for dinner in the hotel. The food came and it was all cold. There were six of us including two children. Chicken burger was not cooked in the middle. In fairness staff tried their best but they were understaffed. We were the only diners. One of our party requested a glass of wine three times but it never came. It was disappointing when we had invited our family and expected good service and meal The reception staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough. Especially Juanjo and Yanet

A USB-C charging port would be a good addition. The breakfast is excellent, and it is available until 2:00 p.m. This is very convenient. The best thing is the location. The hotel is on the best part of Gran Vía, so it is very easy to visit the city. For Uber, pick up point is usually the corner of Víctor Hugo Street. For airport transfers (with luggage), it is more convenient to choose the taxi meeting point on Calle de la Reina. It is behind the hotel, parallel to Gran Vía. This makes pickup and drop-off easier.
A USB-C charging port would be a good addition. The breakfast is excellent, and it is available until 2:00 p.m. This is very convenient. The best thing is the location.
