There was an "event" going on and the street in front of the hotel was blocked off so I couldn't use the valet service and then got my car stuck in "event" parking. I asked about this possibility when I checked in and they said it would be fine but it was not.

Very nice stay! Right in the middle of the third ward. Wonderful staff. I was dissappointed that they didn't make aware the cost of the valet. I had two other guest meet me there so i had inquired about parking options. They told me to just park in front of the hotel and itd be taken care of. On checkout, they charged my account almost 300$ for parking for two nights. We probably wouldve still utilized the service but it wouldve been nice to know prior to the charge.

Room was great, they freshened the room after the first night, they served free delicious pizza, beer and wine, from 5 to 6pm, free coffee in the morning, free use of a pool table. I would have liked a coffee maker in the room. Parking was $40 per night, but, there was a lot around the corner for $26 a night.

I will say that I thought I was going to give a bad review, room was fantastic and hotel amenities were very good, great rooftop bar. First morning, I was told it would take five minutes to get my car from valet parking, check in, they gave me a QR code to scan when I wanted the car, when I scanned the code it immediately asked how much I wanted to tip with the minimum amount being seven dollars. Now I tend to be an over tipper, but I like to wait until I get my car before I tip a half hour later my car arrived the next morning I decided to give them a 10 minute heads up and after 25 minutes I asked them what a hold up was. Apparently they had lost the car of somebody else in front of me and we’re looking for it and there was no one available to get my car . After another 25 minutes I asked them if I could just have my car keys and walk to the parking lot and get them myself. I received a text from the Kimpton asking me how my day was so far and was there anything they could do to improve . I filled out when it happened this morning and asked them how they were going to remedy the situation. Normally these things are ignored, but they ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING. the valet charged was waived, and the next morning when I went to check out, my car was waiting for me in front of the hotel before I had even asked for it. I really appreciate it the effort, situations happen, but the important thing is how we respond to them. I give them 5/5 and will definitely stay again

I had previously stayed in this hotel and had a great experience. I was disappointed this time. My room was dusty, and the furniture was showing signs of wear and tear. The staff, however, were extremely professional. Milwaukee has many fine hotels but I would no longer consider this among the very top ones.

This hotel is awesome, very clean and high end finishes. All the staff were very helpful. We needed an accessible room for my grandmother and the bathroom was the nicest accessible bathroom we have ever seen! Great job overall!

Friendly and helpful staff from the front desk to housekeeping and valet. Hotel was clean (other than the drawer with unused condoms found - someone skipped checking all the drawers!) Hotel could use a little modernizing, but very nice stay overall.

My only complaint was they need pillow protectors. I could see the pillows because the cases didn’t fold over very well and they were filthy. Kind of gross to think about. Great dining options. Very walkable. Staff was very nice.

I have stayed here a couple times and I wasn't thrilled with this last stay. The room wasn't fully cleaned. There was hair on the shower walls and a diry sock left over from the previous stay.

Staff was amazing at check in. Room was nice and clean and the bathroom (spa room) was exceptional. My only complaint was the noise level. There was no noisy neighbors or anything, just thin walls and doors so you could hear every door close and anyone walking down the hallway having a normal conversation. We stayed there for the proximity to summerfest and that did not disappoint.

Beware when checking in. Desk people assign poor rooms first when better ones are available. AVOID room 334. It’s located right next to a large AC unit. The AC unit blocks all outside views and makes constant noise.

Rooms are large. Rooftop is second to none. Nice style. Very dog friendly hotel. However, I found myself sneezing/allergic in the room. Even number rooms face a very unattractive courtyard with loud fans. All three times I’ve stayed, I get a courtyard view. Neighborhood is the best in town.

1st I need to mention their customer service was EXCEPTIONAL! Seeing how every single employee (from Valet to reception to restaurant staff) was friendly, helpful, courteous and professional . They made you feel right at home. I will absolutely be staying here again just for the customer service alone!

We enjoyed our stay. Nice people on staff. There were a couple of lapses, though, which took time on our part to figure out. We were not advised on our arrival of how to get wifi, or even what checkout time is, and there was nothing in our check-in info. Luckily, we met Trevion at the front desk, who filled in the gaps for us. He was a gem. Morning coffee, included, is heavenly. Happy hour is great, with quite good wine selections and service there was wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kimpton-Journeyman for our weekend in Milwaukee. Parking in the city is challenging everywhere, but the valet was quick & convenient. We were welcomed to the hotel by the wonderful Gabriele, who also provided phone chargers when we realized we left ours in our car. There is an ATM on the second floor up the stairs to the right of the front desk. There is a morning coffee bar in the cafe and hot tea (and anything else you could want) is available for purchase. Our room was nice, especially the bathroom, and the bed was comfortable.

we loved the valet! the crew was super friendly and quick. i that it was uuunique how we got personal text messages about if we needed anything an how it was brought to ouur room for us. one thing that was unfortunate. was we called the rooftop restaurant to place an order and no one answered. both times we called. its okay though because they were probably very busy.

I have stayed here before. It was close to a restaurant we ate at. Bar on 9th floor was quite busy so went down to first floor bar for some desert & a drink. Great service. Room was quiet. Ordered room service breakfast- hit the spot. Easy checkout, ride picked me up & took me away. Nice property & staff.
