Really outdated and gross. Ceiling was falling in over the shower and pieces of it were laying in the tub. We laid on top of the blankets because the room was so nasty. You could tell the door was kicked in because all of the trim was broken and then just painted over. There was mold in the window sill above the AC and the room stunk of mildew. Walking up the stairs outside the platform leading to the second set of stairs sunk as you stepped on it, we were scared we were going to fall through. They require $100 deposit but I don’t know what damage you could do that would be more noticeable than the already poor condition of the building and room.

They never refunded my deposit even after telling me on checkout they would. It has not been refunded to my card. The staff were ok but the building needs maintenance. I had to be moved to a different room because either the key card or the door itself would not work. The long term tenants are the ones who are not following leash regulations and not picking up after their dogs making the limitedly available grassy areas disgusting. Either the rules need to be enforced or the hotel needs to have someone going and cleaning that up because it’s a breeding ground for bacteria. Several other people there for the same dog event as me were appalled at how the long term tenants would just let their dogs rush out their rooms with no leash, crap, then go back. Meanwhile, we were careful with our dogs and cleaning up after them.

This property should NOT be offered by Expedia‼️ It’s an extremely old and not well maintained motel, with no food service and walking isn’t safe as there’s no sidewalks to walk nearly a mile away… Also, getting in or out of the property is difficult and not very safe… Please do not ever offer this motel AGAIN🙏

Air conditioner was pretty noisy and stopped working randomly many times. The room was decently clean overall and the fridge worked fine. It was slightly difficult to find the turn in as there isn't really a sign. You get what you pay for, it was a cheap option for a stay.

STAY ANYWHERE ELSE! Run down property covered in dog waste. Room stank of cigarette smoke, even though it's supposed to be a smoke-free facility. TWO staff members (owners?) pounded on my door to find out how many dogs I had, then proceeded to shout at me and forced me to check out early because I didn't let them know I had dogs (they claim they ask everyone, but they never asked if I was traveling with pets; there was alsonowhere to indicate I had animals when I made the reservation). I made a mistake and had my 2 dogs present instead of the allowed 1, but they were very belligerent about it. They threatened to keep my $100 deposit until I asked for their policies in writing, which they could not provide. I understand why they asked us to check out, but they didn't need to ambush me or shout at me or treat me like garbage. The cheap price is not worth the disgusting property or the disgusting staff. Red Roof lost a long-time customer.

Difficult to figure out how to access. No actual signage or dedicated driveway, access through another business parking lot. No elevator for taking luggage up to rooms. Horribly cramped parking. Grungy, badly in need of plumbing and bathroom updates or at least service.

This motel was a joke. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in terms of a place to stay. We tried to check in at 9:30 PM and they told us that the room wasn’t ready yet, when check-in was at 3 PM. They told us to give them 20 minutes and they would have a room ready. In less than five minutes he called us and told us it was ready. Got to the room. Floors had not been swept. The shower had not been clean. The bedsheets had not been changed. There were bugs in there. There was a spray on the wall that smelled of a heavy perfume to try and cover up the smoke scent is what I believe. We picked up our stuff and went to a nearby hotel and didn’t even bother staying.

Checked in around 945 pm, went straight to room. Opened the door and the room smelled like an ash tray. AC wouldn’t turn on. Shower head spewed water all over the bathroom while taking a shower. No water pressure in sink. Dust covering almost everything in the room. Cob webs throughout the room. Noticed stains on the walls. There was no battery in the smoke detector. Could hear everything from all the other rooms around us late in to the night keeping us up. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Bed cover had stains on it. Smelled like smoke even though room said “smoke free” behind the table there was dust and crumbs left. The shower curtain was inside out. Overall a terrible experience. I had to go out and buy extra bedding sheets to put over the ones there.

The room was dirty, smelled like smoke in a non smoking room, stain on bed, hair in sink, cockroaches in room. peeling paint, hole in chair. The deadbolt would also not engage all the way which made me feel unsafe. By far the worst place I have ever stayed.

This room was very cheap so read this review with that in mind. The room was dirty. So dirty there were cobwebs all over the walls and ceiling. It smelled like urine and the carpets obviously have not been cleaned in some time. I had to go to the office to get towels and there was no coffee except decaf. On the upside, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The staff at the desk was very nice.

Needs better signage to enter motel lot from street. The beds and bedding were fine, but pillows definitely need replaced. The chair at desk area was very old, vinyl was pealing off and unsafe to sit in. A coffee pot would be appreciated in the room, rather than a hair dryer! Water pressure at sink was almost nonexistent, although in tub the pressure was fine. The bathtub was stained and needed cleaned. I understand the room/motel is a low rated one, but really I wish the owners would take more pride in thd property! Most likely not to stay there again,unfortunately there wasn't any other options of rooms in the area.

Our first guest room smelled like smoke. It was horrible. The second room he gave us did not lock when we were leaving, you could literally push it open without a key. Front desk acted like he didn\'t believe us! He came up there to "show us" it was locking. By standing inside and bolting it. But we were not inside. We were leaving our stuff. Showed him I could push it open and we were given a third room. It didn\'t smell great, but at least it didn\'t smell like It had been smoked in recently, like the first one! We were going to a show at the Ruoff Center and missed the opening act due to this!

Electric outlets in room 1/2 didnt work. $100 deposit for room that cost $40. Drywall falling in the shower with you. Matresses were new and nice. Sheets were clean comforter stained. Smelled of gasoline. Staff was nice. Check out giy very nice and apologetic. Worked for a night stay where we just needed a bed for a few hours.

We were concerned when we pulled up to the front of the hotel because of the way it looked. But we were pleasantly surprised when we went in our room. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioner worked great with the temp being 92 degrees. Check in was also great.

Location is great, price decent for the property, had to stay one night due to weather. I felt safe until the next morning when the male house keeper decided to try to get into my room at 9 am and checkout was not until 11 am. I’m half naked and thank God I had the door jam engaged or he would have seen me. He made a quick knock but didn’t wait for the answer he just immediately started opening the door. I’m a travel agent and I would not advise a solo female traveler to stay there alone.

Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had while staying in a hotel. I don’t usually write reviews but this needs to be heard! Front desk guy harassed me all day about me not paying my deposit but both the room price for 2 nights and the 100$ was taken out of my bank account and had proof. He tried to say my card was declined that if I don’t pay the 100$ I would need to get out!!! So I stayed the one night and had to be out the second night. I’m not from the area and had no where to stay the next night… It’s a shame I was treated the way I was treated. I would never stay here again no matter the situation!! Also the rooms weren’t even worth the price of the stay… Filthy and outdated!!

Entire building is in terrible condition. Beware! They take your credit card for a deposit against damages, but do not hold it in case needed. They actually process the security deposit upon check in and then you have to wait for a refund!!!

Reported an issue with front office about leak, was advised by management if we said anything else about. A leak we would have to leave. Maintenance said he fixed issue all he done was caulked around tub however we have video and pics of issue that was never resolved. Also asked double bed during atya and was told we stick with one Queen bed. A couple staff members were very nice however management very rude , disresp ctful, don't care about guest issues or what damage to guest property occurs but I'm already begin legal action

The place was not pleasant nothing was wiped down the toilet had old pee stains and was cleaned before I got my room. I asked the staff to clean the room they told me to use toilet paper and to clean it I promise this is not a joke. The place itself was a joke never again will I stay at a place like that again poor service.

Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. I was coughing all night long. There were homeless people in the parking lot. There was a man peeing between the sheds that were in the adjoining Lowe’s parking lot. Did not feel safe and did not get much sleep.

Door to the bathroom was loose, stairs going up to the second level had broken boards. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean. Lots of places to eat nearby and very easy to get to main attractions in the city. I would stay again.
