Incrível. Agradável e acolhedor. Quartos confortáveis (fiquei em dois diferentes durante a viagem), chuveiro forte, banheiros limpos, camas confortáveis. Café da manhã farto e excelente atendimento. Mas o mais importante foi o acolhimento pela a maravilhosa recepcionista Giara que é extremamente educada, prestativa, empática, diria que é a alma do hotel. I recently stayed here for a week. I originally reached out via Expedia to arrange a ride from the airport to the property. They told me they would contact me 24 hours before my arrival to set up their driving service. However, I didn’t hear from them, so I took it upon myself to schedule an Uber. When we arrived, our room was ready before the 2 PM check-in time, which was a nice surprise. The room itself was spacious and looked nice overall. We didn’t know it wouldn’t have air conditioning, but that was fine since we weren’t planning to spend much time there during the day. That said, the room could definitely use a deep cleaning. There was a lot of hair from previous guests on the bed and floor, which was unpleasant. On a positive note, the receptionists were always friendly and greeted us every time we returned. The location of the house is quiet and peaceful, which we appreciated.

The staff was very helpful although they didn't speak English. I was able to use Google translate and WhatsApp to communicate effectively. The breakfast is included and very tasty. It's mostly buffet style however they also made omelettes according to your liking. The rooms are cleaned daily and the team and coffee station is always well maintained. Very quiet and relaxing.

Hotel Esmeralda by Katari, was an aesthetically nice hotel. At First glance, modern and clean. But when we arrived our initial room had a smell of residual cigarette smoke, which they happy to change and get us another room. The rooms were pretty dirty with hair and dust. The showers could have operated better, drainage and the shower doors didn't close, the shower head pressure wasn't good. The towels could be more clean, they looked very used. The heater sometimes worked and one room didn't have a window to allow fresh air. The location was off the beaten path which made area quiet but it was a 15min walk to Plaza de Armas. Not much to eat around the area so dont return hungry. The Staff was very nice and always available in house or via WhatsApp. Probably would try somewhere else next time but for the cost and availability it's not awful. Also, breakfast was great.

We left a night early and moved to a different hotel. We advised the hotel of a feather allergy and what they were able to provide were 2 tiny throw pillows for me and my wife. The towels in the bathroom were tattered. The staff was rude, when I asked for an additional pillow case so I can stuff it with jackets to make my own. The shower did not drain well so if you took more than a 5 minute shower the water would overflow into the bathroom, not to mention you would be standing in 2 inches of water. The doorbell on the front door is not responsive and when we arrived at night we were stuck in this dark aly and they were not attending the phone number listed on the door to call for service. Lastly it is impossible to sleep here, you can hear EVERYONE on the same floor and above you, they appear to once have blackout curtains- because one window had them and the other did not and you have flood lights lighting up the entire room all night. The noise from the neighborhood, car alarms, and then from neighboring guest rooms is unbearable.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights, the room was very small, we barely have space to accommodate the luggage and the breakfast schedule was to short, around 8:30 am I’ve tried to pour myself a cup of coffee and there was none left, I’ve requested for one and they told sorry, no coffee available, no juice, no milk. Very disappointed.
