This was a lovely little B&B, a stones throw away from Cheddar Gorge. The facilities were great, with a spacious, clean bedroom and also a communal area with refreshments and board games. Graham, the host, was very attentive and served a home made cooked breakfast, accompanied by home made bread and jams. Plenty of parking, too!

Graham met us on arrival at the Old Manor House and helped us set up the EV charging for our car. A bit easier than feeding the horses when this was the Kings Arms Coaching Inn and an important stage coach stop. We were very pleased to discover that the old Inn has been expertly converted into a very comfortable B&B without spoiling its 400 year old charm and nature. Although it is close to the road, any traffic noise is kept to a minimum by the carefully constructed secondary windows on the inside of very thick walls. Both windows can be easily opened in various aspects to provide fresh air and there was very little traffic late at night during our stay. The bathroom fittings are all modern and spotlessly clean and there was a large walk in shower in the Purple Room where we stayed. We also slept very well on quality mattresses on both beds. For breakfast there was a large choice fruit, cereals, juices, yogurt, home backed bread and a magnificent selection of Graham's homemade jams and marmalades. The cooked breakfast was also excellent with a good choice of freshly prepared and locally sourced produce. Altogether an excellent place to stay with everything you might need already thought of and provided by Graham.

I just needed somewhere for 1 night, prior to attending Arctangent Festival near Compton Martin. This was ideal. A lovely maintained building, gavelled car park with marked out bays. Graham there to meet you. Rooms had everything you needed. Breakfast was set out really well with bread, jams, teas and cold juice and yoghurt, the cold water in the fridge was an excellent idea and I love how nothing was displayed in plastic, all glass. Lots of choice of hot breakfast, yummy bread. Coffee machine for various drinks. No complaints at all and excellent stay.

Beautifully restored and modernised but still some charm and character of the original building. Clean apartment, spacious and good, working facilities. Public dining and relaxation areas were a nice touch, as was the free bean to cup coffee machine with numerous choices of hot beverages. Breakfast was also well presented and tasted lovely and a plentiful choice of other options available too.

What a beautiful old house, it is spotlessly clean and has a host of special little touches. the owner Graham was fantastic, the breakfast absolutely stunning and we would go back again and again. Everything about this property is first class from the homemade bread and jams to the eco friendly electric charging for the car. One of the best we have stayed in.

We were met by Graham who made sure we had all of our needs met. We stayed in the family room, which had proper beds for us all (not camp beds or sofa beds). Thoughtfully there was a nightlight (which we chose to use), a childs toilet seat option and thick blackout curtains. We used the small garden and the family lounge. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice.

Lovely property not far from Cheddar. Room was very comfortable and well finished with all the facilities we could want including mini fridge. Breakfast was excellent with lots of delicious home made elements. Grahame was a great host and very helpful. A nice pub over the road and walking distance to a couple more in the next town over. Would happily stay again.

We had a fantastic stay, Graham was very helpful and welcoming. We stayed in the family room, this had great facilities for the children including children's toilet seat and step! The communal lounge had toys for the children to play with and a selection of DVD's whilst we enjoyed the complimentary coffee machine! A fantastic cooked breakfast in the morning with lovely home made bread, plenty of cereals and yogurts and nice cold juice! We really enjoyed our stay here, it's lovely and clean and well thought out, and most importantly very very comfy beds! Would absolutely recommend staying here and we would love to stay again.

Lovely bed and breakfast-we always stay here when we come to this area. Graham is a great host , nothing is too much trouble . The rooms are spotless and tastefully furnished. The breakfast is delicious and all allergies appear to well catered for.

We had an excellent stay. Despite arriving at 11pm check in was easy having retrieved the door/room key from the lock box. Excellent room, spotlessly clean. Woke after an excellent night's sleep to an equally excellent breakfast. Graham is a superb host. We would highly recommend The Old Manor House!

The hotel is spotless and Graham a very attentive host. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. With the window open at night traffic can be noisy. Overall a very nice place to stay and the food in the New Inn pub close by was also very good.

Excellent little B&B. The room we chose was spacious with lovely features such as traditional fireplace and large free standing bath. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. I found the bed/mattress a little uncomfortable but I am very fussy about that kind of thing and it is very subjective. Had a lovely soak in the bath though and the shower was also excellent. We were greeted as we arrived and made to feel very welcome. The host had ensured that our dietary requirements were catered for, both in the room and at breakfast. The breakfast was very generous and extremely tasty. We also purchased some james and marmalade which are made by the owner and these are highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay together n the copper suite. The room was clean, modern but with heaps of character. The amenities were fantastic and the hosts were very generous. The breakfast was amazing, the fresh homemade bread and jams in particular but the options were far beyond what we expected. The property and guest services were faultless, we had quality sleep both nights and the location was perfect for our trip, close to cheddar as well as the seaside.

We had an excellent stay. Despite arriving at 11pm check in was easy having retrieved the door/room key from the lock box. Excellent room, spotlessly clean. Woke after an excellent night's sleep to an equally excellent breakfast. Graham is a superb host. We would highly recommend The Old Manor House!

The hotel is spotless and Graham a very attentive host. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. With the window open at night traffic can be noisy. Overall a very nice place to stay and the food in the New Inn pub close by was also very good.

Graham and his staff were amazing, friendly, courteous and went above and beyond. The location is superb, an Inn opposite serves great food. And the adjoins town is gorgeous. The rooms are very well kept and have all mod cons. The highlight is the breakfast, everything from bread to Jams are homemade and all produce locally sourced. Wonderful experience

This was a lovely little B&B, a stones throw away from Cheddar Gorge. The facilities were great, with a spacious, clean bedroom and also a communal area with refreshments and board games. Graham, the host, was very attentive and served a home made cooked breakfast, accompanied by home made bread and jams. Plenty of parking, too!

Spot on as usual. Excellent service from Graham and a great location for us. The accommodation is lovely and the breakfast is fab. I would also encourage you to pop over the road to see Steve at the New inn. Great food as well.

If you have a car, I highly recommend staying at B & B Manor. The location is quiet and well-maintained. Breakfast is good and especially the homemade jams. We were 4 people and the bedroom was spacious. There was a lot of attention to detail that you would not find at a hotel. Food, living room, great sheets. It also had a nice size bathroom.

Beauitful B&B, clean, cosy and fabulous breakfast. Pub opposite for evening meal was also great. Kids had loads of fun in beer garden and loved the lego at the B&B. Easy distance for airport. Would book again, very convenient for a young family.

We had a lovely stay together n the copper suite. The room was clean, modern but with heaps of character. The amenities were fantastic and the hosts were very generous. The breakfast was amazing, the fresh homemade bread and jams in particular but the options were far beyond what we expected. The property and guest services were faultless, we had quality sleep both nights and the location was perfect for our trip, close to cheddar as well as the seaside.

Graham met us on arrival at the Old Manor House and helped us set up the EV charging for our car. A bit easier than feeding the horses when this was the Kings Arms Coaching Inn and an important stage coach stop. We were very pleased to discover that the old Inn has been expertly converted into a very comfortable B&B without spoiling its 400 year old charm and nature. Although it is close to the road, any traffic noise is kept to a minimum by the carefully constructed secondary windows on the inside of very thick walls. Both windows can be easily opened in various aspects to provide fresh air and there was very little traffic late at night during our stay. The bathroom fittings are all modern and spotlessly clean and there was a large walk in shower in the Purple Room where we stayed. We also slept very well on quality mattresses on both beds. For breakfast there was a large choice fruit, cereals, juices, yogurt, home backed bread and a magnificent selection of Graham's homemade jams and marmalades. The cooked breakfast was also excellent with a good choice of freshly prepared and locally sourced produce. Altogether an excellent place to stay with everything you might need already thought of and provided by Graham.

Was a really lovely B&B and Graham was so accommodating in letting us check in early before we went to a wedding nearby. Room was very clean with some lovely touches and great to have a proper coffee machine for use in the lobby. The smell of freshly baked bread is amazing there too. We were off to see family so didn’t have breakfast but 9.15 is very early to stop cooked breakfast on a weekend would be the only thing to improve on I think

Excellent little B&B. The room we chose was spacious with lovely features such as traditional fireplace and large free standing bath. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. I found the bed/mattress a little uncomfortable but I am very fussy about that kind of thing and it is very subjective. Had a lovely soak in the bath though and the shower was also excellent. We were greeted as we arrived and made to feel very welcome. The host had ensured that our dietary requirements were catered for, both in the room and at breakfast. The breakfast was very generous and extremely tasty. We also purchased some james and marmalade which are made by the owner and these are highly recommended.

Amazing stay as usual. First guests in the Graphite room since it had been refurbished… excellent! Breakfast as usual was cooked to order and delicious, as was the rest of the breakfast with plenty of choice and the homemade jams and homemade bread finished it off. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you Graham for a great stay.

We had a fantastic stay, Graham was very helpful and welcoming. We stayed in the family room, this had great facilities for the children including children's toilet seat and step! The communal lounge had toys for the children to play with and a selection of DVD's whilst we enjoyed the complimentary coffee machine! A fantastic cooked breakfast in the morning with lovely home made bread, plenty of cereals and yogurts and nice cold juice! We really enjoyed our stay here, it's lovely and clean and well thought out, and most importantly very very comfy beds! Would absolutely recommend staying here and we would love to stay again.

Great BnB, perfectly located for the Mendips, Wells, Cheddar but equally the coast Weston, Bream, Burnham. And Bristol not too far. Loads of parking for each room. Owner is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, rooms were well acquainted and well decorated especially for the age of the building. My main fear was the noise of the road, but considering the heat of the bank holiday even with the windows closed the room wasn’t too warm (wasn’t cool but sleepable). Excellent cooked breakfast and a nice buffet area to help yourself to cold items. Nice also to have access to communal areas/garden too if you want to get out of the room. Two nearby pubs in walking distance. Axbridge has two pubs a short drive away. Would certainly stay again. Top BnB!
