It was one of the cutest hotels! Lots of thought to detail. We were pleased that our room was available early and they gave us early check in. They have complimentary coffee all day. Their breakfast was delicious and the location was fantastic. The Chris Cafe is just a block away! Fun hanging with some of the locals.

We found the staff and hotel to be very nice however it does advertise having laundry when it does not. Beware that on Sundays many laundry mats are not open as well.

Jordaan is my favorite neighborhood and this was a perfectly situated hotel. The touches they added were superb and we felt right at home. They let us into our room when we arrived right after our red eye flight (it happened to be available). The bed was comfortable. It was cozy and the elevator is slow (I was traveling with someone who has mobility issues). But, with the location, it was perfect. I was able to do some work as well in their common area.

Excellent stay. Great location right by the canal. Food choices abound. While the property is small and cozy, there is attention to small details that make the the stay so much better. Free coffees, daily free drinks, clean rooms and hallways, eagerness of staff to help, all add up to an amazing experience. Would love to come back.

Brilliant hotel. Such nice and friendly staff. Really nice touch’s like a free coffee machine and free soft drink each day and goody bag when I left. Great area too. Will definitely stay here again.

You really feel at home, they think of everything! reusable water bottles, free good coffee and tea 24hs, free delicious pastries every afternoon, free sodas and juice. They offer a goodie bag when you check out with snacks for your trip to the airport! it is cozy, well cleaned and maintained and next to the canal.. LOVE IT!

Wonderful touch with the numerous small amenities in the lobby, dining area, and room. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Only the elevator wasn't performing at its best, but with everything else being perfect, it was a humorous anecdote to the stay.

LOVED my stay at Mr. Jordaan! Cute, clean, comfortable, safe, friendly staff. Bathroom is tight but if you're just using the room to sleep and shower, it's perfectly fine. Highly recommend staying here!

The room had a really bad smell and I opened a window to try and freshen it up a bit, but that didn’t work. When I went downstairs to ask for another room, I was challenged as if I was lying or something and I said to reception, “I’m happy for you to go up there and verify for yourself,” and they wouldn’t, Instead they kept saying their rooms are never smelly, etc. I asked if I could just get a refund and look for another hotel and they wouldn’t do that either. I won’t be staying there again.

Everyone was so friendly at Mr. Jordaan! The absolute only complaint u have was that my room would be cleaned at super random times, or just not cleaned at all, which was a bit frustrating. Other than that I loved my stay and recommend Mr. Jordaan!

It's great to be on a canal and yet have tranquility and even a (slow) elevator! Overall...charming! Downside: The rooms are tiny (not even one chair, and possibly not room for one), and the mattress, though comfortable was very narrow.

We had a wonderful three night stay at MrJordaan. The staff were so kind and helpful! The place was so unique and quaint. A quiet area; yet, walkable to everything!!! So happy we had a room overlooking the canal. But, I bet all rooms were great. They were spacious!!! Oh, the shower was incredible !!!!! Loved that they had a kettle and mini fridge in the room- excellent for storing and having a quick cup. Would highly recommend and would 100% stay here again♥️ One small thing- the gift bag upon departure was a thoughtful touch- and so cool!!! However, we would had rather received it upon arrival (it was filled with snacks, samples, shampoo, etc). Would had loved to have some snacks in the room upon arrival.

We had a room with 2 beds (it was the last room available) the beds were on wheels so they were sliding all the time. It’s lacking a bit a natural/white light in the room. Other than that, everybody was extremely nice, they even gave us a goodies bag when leaving which was very thoughtful.

We had a great stay. All the staff were great and friendly. The room was great. Location great. Minor things… people above us were a bit noisy late, but they sound like they were having fun. The bathroom was fine but was a bit awkward with the beam right over the sink.. being tall posed some hazards in the shower and near the sink.. I guess that is understandable with the building age. Overall great stay. Thanks!

I loved Mr. Jordaan. I only had 16 hours to get a glimpse of Amsterdam, and their location was perfect. Everything is walking distance, with the canals right out of the doorstep. My room was cute, personal bathroom kind of small, yet tidy. Staff was amazingly helpful with directions of where to go site-see. I would stay there again.

The overall stay was just ok. There are number of positives about hotel. The location is excellent- quiet, very beautiful, and a short walk to cafes. The staff is friendly and helpful. However the condition of room and bathroom is 2 stars only. The room is darkly lit, the shower is tiny. The bed is very uncomfortable. If you are a couple you will be sleeping on separate small twin size beds that stand together but aren’t attached together. Little movement pulls them apart. I don’t want to stay there again.

Whoa! Amazing across the board. Designers hit every detail on the head, staff met that high bar everyday we were there with their friendliness and helpfulness. Clean. Perfect Location. Beautiful. Staff was definitely the best part. They were enthusiastic to help in every way. Not like big box hotels that offer help only when it is solicited and paid handsomely for. Highly recommended!

We love this hotel. This was our fourth visit. The facility is very nice and quiet and the staff are the best. The breakfast is very good. The area is great for walking around, has many restaurants and cafes, and is convenient to public transportation. Did I mention the staff are wonderful?

Truly 5 stars. From my arrival and being allowed to check in early. Shout out to Oluwadamilola who welcomed me with such warmth and a great smile. It was so refreshing, I felt like home away from home. I loved the directions on how to get there and the email recommendations of things to do, places to eat, museums and the links were so helpful. I tried the Dutch food places and Pesca. For my first time in Amsterdam these recommendations were so valued and great. I did mistakenly book the Van Gogh and Rembrandt lights instead of the Van Gogh museum so be careful booking the right one. It is right there I just didn’t notice both. Loved the decor. Loved the snack bag as I left. Everything was provided in the room plus a snack and coffee/ tea/ soda downstairs. I would definitely stay here again. Maybe a canal view room next time. I am so glad I stayed here. One thing though is that I would have liked to have a door hook or wall hook to hang my towels. But just minor. They think of everything, umbrella if you need one and helpful with questions on buying tickets for the tram nearby. You should stay here. A rare find.

Loved the snack bag as I left. Everything was provided in the room plus a snack and coffee/ tea/ soda downstairs. I would definitely stay here again. Maybe a canal view room next time. I am so glad I stayed here. One thing though is that I would have liked to have a door hook or wall hook to hang my towels. But just minor. They think of everything, umbrella if you need one and helpful with questions on buying tickets for the tram nearby. You should stay here. A rare find.

I originally booked this hotel due to the location and price. Both of which were great! But what quickly became my favorite part of this hotel is the people that work there. Everyone was warm, helpful and welcoming. Bianca helped us one evening and really saved the day! The hotel is located on a quiet and safe canal yet within walking distance to all of the sites. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. They even gave us a little reusable water bottle since the water is filtered and drinkable in Amsterdam. The hotel was close to many restaurants as well. Coffee and tea were readily available and every afternoon they had pasteries. Such a class act of a hotel! I highly recommend Mr. Jordaan to anyone looking for an amazing stay in Amsterdam.

Almost don’t want to give it 5 stars out of fear it will be full next time I am in Amsterdam, it’s that great! This is a wonderful, unique and ideally located boutique hotel that is a pure delight. The staff is wonderful, friendly, incredibly nice and helpful. Lots of little touches, like nibbling cookies by the 24 hour coffee, a shelf full of guides on Amsterdam, a little packet of treats on checkout, and so much more. Numerous little local cafes within a block or two in a quiet residential section just minutes from Dam Square.

The staff are definitely the highlight of this property - everyone was so kind and helpful! The common areas are also very cute and well decorated. The room itself was quite small, however, and the beds were a bit stiff, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful typical canal-side property in the very picturesque Jordaan district of the city. Really tastefully decorated and appointed interior with a Mr Jordaan stamp. Fantastic breakfast choices should you choose, free use of the lobby coffee/drinks machine and very friendly and helpful staff. A wonderful place to stay in Amsterdam and in easy walking distance of all the sights.

I loved Mr. Jordaan. I only had 16 hours to get a glimpse of Amsterdam, and their location was perfect. Everything is walking distance, with the canals right out of the doorstep. My room was cute, personal bathroom kind of small, yet tidy. Staff was amazingly helpful with directions of where to go site-see. I would stay there again.

It was one of the cutest hotels! Lots of thought to detail. We were pleased that our room was available early and they gave us early check in. They have complimentary coffee all day. Their breakfast was delicious and the location was fantastic. The Chris Cafe is just a block away! Fun hanging with some of the locals.

My wife and I were on our 30th anniversary trip, and this hotel is easily our favorite of all time! So much character, so much fun, and so welcoming! The staff was amazing, the decor was so original and creative, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. This boutique property is a real treasure!

Great location. 15 minute bus ride from Amsterdam Centraal and the staff was kind and welcoming. The room and bathroom is small but provides everything you need for your stay. We were able to sleep with the window open without it being noisy. Walking distance to the city center, but it's surrounded by places to eat, drink, and shop. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. There are thoughtful touches all throughout the space. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I can't recommend it enough.

I would recommend skipping the breakfast they offer if you have the time and walk nearby to a bakery or restaurant as the pricing is relatively similar and the food will be better. Great for a quick grab and go though if you’re strapped on time. Do not take the taxi from the hotel to the airport. It felt like a robbery at 50 euros plus an additional fee because we didn’t have cash nor was there a visible meter to confirm it was honest and fair. In the book provided by the hotel in each room, they recommend you to request a ride through the front desk and I urge you not to because it’s nearly half to uber. I checked after the fact and it was half to Uber from the airport to hotel. Don’t take the taxi. The uber rides we took were very nice and comfortable. Aside from the mediocre breakfast and taxi issue, very great hotel and would recommend to others. Would love to go back.

Beautiful Boutique hotel on the canal. Room was small but so functional. I had a lovely room overlooking the canal. Breakfast was yummy with so many healthy options and amazing candy jars refilled as needed. The staff was helpful, kind and welcoming. I look forward to returning.
