Posizione centrale per visitare la città, soprattutto Sasso Caveoso. Camera pulita e accogliente è dotata di tutto ciò che è necessario. Indispensabile il parcheggio in loco. L’ospitalità di Michele, il proprietario della struttura è quel quid in più. Persona fantastica che si mette a completa disposizione dei suoi ospiti.
Posizione centrale per visitare la città, soprattutto Sasso Caveoso. Camera pulita e accogliente è dotata di tutto ciò che è necessario. Indispensabile il parcheggio in loco. La struttura è ben situata in luogo strategico per visitare i sassi , la pulizia della struttura e della camera è molto soddisfacente, i mobili sono nuovi e il bagno e la doccia era molto comodo. devi lasciare la macchina davanti la struttura peraltro parcheggio incluso. La gentilezza dei proprietari va oltre la normalità ,mi ha permesso di lasciare la macchina anche dopo avere fatto il cecaut. Prenota questa struttura ad occhi chiusi te la consiglio

Well located, accessible by car. We were lucky that were able to park our car right in front of the property for EuR 15 per night. The owner Michelle was extremely friendly and nice. Gave us all the directions, as well as recommendations of places to go, see, and eat. A true great host. The accommodations at on the basic side, but well located to visit the old City by foot. It’s also very close to the main pedestrian area. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a great value.

Perfect location for an overnight stay in Matera to explore the Sassi. Host was extremely helpful. It’s easy to find being on the edge of the new and old city. We could drive there and park the car up. 3 bedrooms with en-suite in an arch at his garage, cut into the rock. Loved Matera. A lifetime experience. Staying over is worth it, to see it all at night.

The best location for the Sassi, just on the edge so quiet and peaceful, but within seconds of the main streets of the Sassi. Private parking right outside the door available (€15 daily), incredibly easy to find. Excellent WhatsApp communication before and during stay, great recommendations for local food/drink and sightseeing. Room was beautiful and clean, with great amenities and complementary water and snacks. Upon arrival our hire car had a slow puncture in the tyre, handily he is a mechanic, and had it fixed for us within hours for €10 - the most generous and kind people, with a beautiful dog too!! There are only a few rooms, all pretty equal in terms of size and facilities, so if there is availability for your dates, do not hesitate to book this place - you won’t regret it!! Thank you for a perfect few days in Matera

There are 4 rooms in the b&b located in a converted garage. There are no windows. The only ventilation is from open louvered vents installed between the room and the hallway. The hallway is also part of the garage and has no windows for ventilation. The hallway has a common door entrance which is always closed. Therefore this place has bad ventilation and because of the louvered vents which CANNOT BE CLOSED you hear every thing in the hallway and in the hallway they hear everything in your room. No privacy whatsoever. I think the 9.6 rating of this property is gamed and false. Be aware if selecting this garage to stay.

Our host Michele was outstanding! He picked us up from the station, booked us into a tour of the Sassi within 90 minutes of our arrival and made sure that he was contactable at all times. The rooms are just on the edge of the Sassi with all the convenience of being easily accessible to everything. The rooms are small but very clean and functional. A fantastic city and an exceptional host.

Perfect location, very close to main point of interest in Matera (Sassi). The owner met us on arrival, he was a lovely guy. Explained to us on a map where we were and how to get to all the points of interest, he was so helpful and very kind. Room was great, only stayed the one night and had everything we needed. The location of the room was perfect, less than a minute to the main part of Matera. Would recommend for anyone who is planning a visit.

The room was accessible upon arrival, earlier than check in time, Michelle was excellent! He helped us by providing directions, helped with our car when it had issues and was great. The location is excellent, plenty of food options nearby and close to the city center. Non-italian breakfast options are very limited in the area, aside from that it was an excellent experience, fully recommended.

We stayed for 2 nights in Matera, the accommodation is located right on the border with the old town making easy access to and from the main tourist attractions, restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. Highlight of our stay was Michael who was extremely accommodating, helpful and kind. This made the stay very pleasant and he was always anticipating our needs, being one step ahead. Would recommend!

Well located, accessible by car. We were lucky that were able to park our car right in front of the property for EuR 15 per night. The owner Michelle was extremely friendly and nice. Gave us all the directions, as well as recommendations of places to go, see, and eat. A true great host. The accommodations at on the basic side, but well located to visit the old City by foot. It’s also very close to the main pedestrian area. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a great value.

Our stay was above expectations. The host is amazingly friendly and helpful. Upon check in he provided great details regarding the area including a map and ideas about the best route and must see areas of Matera. His love of the area made it even more special. Although there is a language barrier, the use of a translation app made communicating easy, informative and so interesting. We loved the location which was easy to get to and convenient to adventure through the Sassi area. The room was well appointed. Check in and check out was easy. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Our host Michele was outstanding! He picked us up from the station, booked us into a tour of the Sassi within 90 minutes of our arrival and made sure that he was contactable at all times. The rooms are just on the edge of the Sassi with all the convenience of being easily accessible to everything. The rooms are small but very clean and functional. A fantastic city and an exceptional host.

Perfect location, very close to main point of interest in Matera (Sassi). The owner met us on arrival, he was a lovely guy. Explained to us on a map where we were and how to get to all the points of interest, he was so helpful and very kind. Room was great, only stayed the one night and had everything we needed. The location of the room was perfect, less than a minute to the main part of Matera. Would recommend for anyone who is planning a visit.

The best location for the Sassi, just on the edge so quiet and peaceful, but within seconds of the main streets of the Sassi. Private parking right outside the door available (€15 daily), incredibly easy to find. Excellent WhatsApp communication before and during stay, great recommendations for local food/drink and sightseeing. Room was beautiful and clean, with great amenities and complementary water and snacks. Upon arrival our hire car had a slow puncture in the tyre, handily he is a mechanic, and had it fixed for us within hours for €10 - the most generous and kind people, with a beautiful dog too!! There are only a few rooms, all pretty equal in terms of size and facilities, so if there is availability for your dates, do not hesitate to book this place - you won’t regret it!! We stayed for 2 nights in Matera, the accommodation is located right on the border with the old town making easy access to and from the main tourist attractions, restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. Highlight of our stay was Michael who was extremely accommodating, helpful and kind. This made the stay very pleasant and he was always anticipating our needs, being one step ahead. Would recommend!

A due passi (letteralmente) dal Sasso Caveoso e a 5 minuti di cammino dal centro storico, al Nespolo Sassi verrete trattati come foste a casa vostra: il titolare vi fornirà tutte le informazioni relative alla città, vi coccolerà con frutta fresca e tutto ciò di cui potreste avere bisogno. La stanza era fresca, comoda e pulita, per non parlare del bagno! Super consigliato!

The room was accessible upon arrival, earlier than check in time, Michelle was excellent! He helped us by providing directions, helped with our car when it had issues and was great. The location is excellent, plenty of food options nearby and close to the city center. Non-italian breakfast options are very limited in the area, aside from that it was an excellent experience, fully recommended.

Süsse kleine Unterkunft mit wenigen Zimmern. Betten könnten etwas bequemer sein. Service war klasse und sehr freundlicher Empfang, flexibel mit dem Checkin (sofern Zimmer zuvor vermutlich frei). Mega nahe an den relevanten Spots in Matera und dennoch sehr ruhig. Frühstück ausserhalb im Cafe, ist direkt um die Ecke, mit klasse Auswahl!

The host here is a amazing! He will speak to you in Italian, yet somehow you understand every last thing. He circles every highlight on a paper map and is very enthusiastic about having you stay with him. This location is wonderful--it is on the border of the old city--you walk right in, yet you have access to parking, etc. on the outer rim.

Michele was excellent, such a great host. We booked last minute and Michele received us at very short notice. The room was clean and equipped with everything we would need. The property is located just on the edge of the centre of Matera and easy to reach all of the main sites. Would highly recommend the property.
