Drury Plaza Hotel Cleveland Downtown

Was very pleased. All of your staff was wonderful! Located very close to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame which was our spot to visit and reason for coming to Cleveland, so yay! Only complaint - the jets in the hot tub were not very strong.

Overall our stay was comfortable. The pool was warm, the hot tub was operable, the gym had a nice selection of equipment. Breakfast was included, it was a nice selection and the coffee was good. The location of the hotel is perfect.

No parking attached to hotel. Pool/hot tub closes too early. Price too high for what you get. It was quiet and comfortable though.

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the room. Very tall ceilings and very large rooms. The hotel is definitely old in age but has had updates to give it a more modern feel. The architecture is very cool and reminds me of an old bank or federal building downtown. I forgot body lotion and stopped at the front desk and asked if they had any and they gave me two small bottles . I was very happy but would be nice if they had body lotion in the rooms. I also asked the front desk for a fan and that gave me a small fan as I enjoy the noise for sleeping and it was a very hot weekend when we stayed. Front desk crew were exceptionally friendly as well as all hotel employees we ran into.we walked to the Rock and roll Hall of Fame and progressive Field for ball games. Very walkable area. The free food and meal options were surprisingly good. Coffee was great! Breakfast options were plentiful. Popcorn and soda is free . Dinner options were very good. Unbelievable that we got 3 alcohol drinks for free each night! Great local beer and wine available as well as mixed drink choices.we even bought pizza from the bar after the baseball game and brought it to our room. It was very think and crispy and good! The pool and hot tub was enjoyable but works be nice if it was cleaned a bit more. The hot tub needed a good cleaning on the steps and bottom. Some hair floating in clumps. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend you give this hotel a try when In the area.

Nice hotel, spacious room, good breakfast. Only bad thing is there is only valet parking.

The room was spotless and had everything you would want for a hotel room. The pool and hot tub were clean and well kept. The restaurant had good food and a few free drinks. And they even had a bar if you wanted a night cap before bed. The general manager even stopped by the restaurant and introduced himself. Very nice

This is a very nice hotel, clean room , breakfast, dinner , pool and hot tub were great. I would stay at this hotel and it's brand hotel again

We enjoyed our time in Cleveland and our stay at the Drury Plaza hotel! We used their valet clear service without issue. We were able to check into our room when we arrived and found the room as described, clean and spacious. Nice views of the park and city scape behind us. Easy walks to Progressive Field and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Hotel provided a complimentary Taco Bar and 3 adult beverages/person. Popcorn and refreshments for everyone too. Basic, indoor pool and hot tub were also used.

Check in was great and informative since it was our first tj.e staying here. Hot tub and pool were great as well as breakfast. Our valet servwas quick and very convenient. Definitely will recommend staying and will return.

The window in our room was so filthy, it was difficult to see outside. I felt the room could have used a good cleaning. Very, very dusty. However, the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was fantastic also. We didn't partake of the evening feed but it looked very good.

I thought it would be a little more elegant. One thing I noticed was the windows were filthy.

If in town for a ball game or conference this is the place to stay! Free breakfast AND dinner options and walkable to many dining options, ball park and museums. Pay to park only once!

This hotel is by far the nastiest so called up scale hotel. I've stayed in numerous Drury Brand Hotels over the years, NEVER HAVE I EVER SEEN A DIRTIER HOTEL. I ARRIVED VERY LATE, AFTER A TRAVEL AT 2 AM. THE FRONT DESK STAFF WERE NICE, HOWEVER I WAS NEVER OFFERED A VALET. I GUESS LATE ARRIVALS PAY DOUBLE, GET THE FILTHIEST ROOMS, AND PARK UNDER THE HOTEL, WITH NO ENTRANCE OR ELEVATORS TO GET TO THE DRURY , SO, ONE MUST WALK UP THE RAMP WITH CARS COMING DOWN THE RAMP, ALMOST HITTING THE PEOPLE on their way to stay in their dirty rooms. To top my awful day off, I finally arrive to room, Ready to crash and sleep 9 hours. But, THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. MY ROOM WAS SO NASTY, I SAT IN THE CHAIR STARING AT FILTH, COBWEBS AND BUGS. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO REACH ANYONE AT THE FRONT DESK. I GAVE UP AFTER THE 3RD ATTEMPT. SO I PLAN TO BE AT THE FRONT DESK ARMED WITH ALL MY PHOTOS OF OVER 20 DIFFERENT NASTY PICS , ALL OF DIFFERENT AREAS. I WILL UPDATE WHEN THE MANAGEMENT STAFF ADDRESSES THESE ISSUES.

The building was beautiful and the staff were really nice. It was not as clean as expected from other reviews. The location was great! Close to everything!

Overall, we were really happy with our stay. They offer breakfast, light dinner and happy hour as part of the room rate. Every staff member we met was helpful and kind. The rooms were spacious, but not exactly clean. We had questionable stains on the bed skirts and there was a pretty thick layer of dust on the night stand and shelves. The beds, bathrooms and towels were clean though. We will choose Drury again and hope this was just a bad day.

Beautiful building & good location. Room was clean except for carpet & chair. Carpet really needs a good clean as does the chair. Outside of window also very dirty. Elevator doors also need cleaned on inside. Staff, including valet, were very nice & did a great job. Thank you!

Air conditioning system antiquated and when working on the hottest day of the year was not adequate.

Good location, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Nighttime city noises woke us up the first night, but we slept through them the second night.

The best historical hotel in Cleveland! The staff is always friendly. The hotel is extremely well maintenance for its age. You almost feel like you’re staying in an old museum or palace. Free dinner, free drinks, free breakfast! As a world traveler, I haven’t experienced such perks at any other hotel, from boutique to chains. The rooms are big, comfortable and quiet. It’s also in a very centralized location downtown. This would be considered a safe neighborhood.

The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The room was adequate but dated. I liked the old building atmosphere.

Love Drury’s in general. Can’t beat free meals especially when traveling with kids. This particular Drury was very unique, marble floors, high ceilings, huge windows…downside, it was so loud! We were on the second floor which was open to the lobby. We heard everything word coming from the lobby and you can hear everyone that passes your room. We got little to no sleep as noice in the lobby went on all night. I would assume it has to be quieter on the third floor and higher, so I would recommend requesting that. Rooms need fans/better sound machines and or something to buffer the sounds from the halls/lobby. Staff was great though. I didn’t mention to the staff as we were only there for one night and didn’t realize it was an issue until we were all unpacked.

We had a perfect romantic weekend getaway planned at a beautiful hotel (Drury Cleveland Downtown) that we were familiar with because of previous stays. That was ruined because our room was directly behind the loud elevator and all we could hear our entire stay was the loud thumping, clunking, & banging from the elevator!! I did complain and we were refunded one of our nights.... but then things got personal and way worse when today I found out I have item stolen from my car that we trusted to Drury's Valet Service!!!! Disgusting & Unforgivable. I understand that no matter how hard a business might try to hire trustworthy & honest people that no matter what stuff like this is inevitably still going to happen, and thats unfortunate and we were the unfortunate customers. I cant begin to explain my disgust I am feeling and am at a loss for words really so I am going to stop here with this warning... If you stay at the Downtown Cleveland Drury, make sure you take their disclaimer about using their Valet service serious, it says they are not responsible if anything comes up missing from your vehicle and some of their Valet Employees mean to enforce that by stealing!

Our room was never room temperature we preferred. It was very hot

Such a great hotel! Not only did they feed you for breakfast but they feed you for dinner too. The food was probably the best hotel food I've ever eaten. The staff was amazing and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Hotel is very clean and spacious. Free breakfast and Happy hour were great and delicious. The rooms are very big and the bathroom was spotless. Close proximity to the stadiums if that is what you are in town for.

The hotel was fantastic. My wife and I went out for snacks in the evening, and the area around the park was a bit scary. Not the hotel's fault. But maybe a snack shop inside the hotel would help. Otherwise, the stay was great. The staff especially stood out as friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us with a event at Huntington Field. The breakfast and evening reception was a really nice touch. We were however super upset, we chose valet parking while we were there and upon receiving our car back someone had went through it. We had a few dollars in the middle console we keep for tolls etc that was obviously taken. Thankfully nothing too valuable was left in the car, but everything from the center console was thrown in the passenger seat when they gave it back to us. We mentioned something to the attendant there and he didn't seem to care that much. He wrote down our valet ticket number and moved on. It's a little frustrating to pay $40 a day ($80 total for the 2 days) for parking and then to have that happen.

I thought the staff there were wonderful. The front desk was helpful and check in was easy. The breakfast/kick back staff were so friendly and attentive (also we love the kick back at the Drury's). The location was great for us and we had a great stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area.

They were excellent from valet to checkout and all staff in between.

The stay itself was wonderful. The valet was great until the last time. They never put ourcar back in the garage. They left it in the hot sun with it full of our items. It was unlocked. This ruined our entire opinion of what we otherwise found to be a lovely stay. They didn’t call me (even though they had my number) and let it sit there 3.5 hours. I hope everything is in our vehicle.

Our stay started out alright. Then all of a sudden water started pouring out of our bathroom light. I immediately phoned reception and let them know he urgency. It was flooding. No one came. I took video and went to reception, and no one came. By this stage we had used all towels to prevent water entering our room. No one came. We packed our bags, and finally they arrived 30mins later. We were told they had no more rooms, and then they did.We dealt with Sharme at front desk. She was rude, and curt. We went to our new room and we couldn't stay there. It was right next to the communications room on level 5. There was an incredibly loud humm that did not let up. No way you could sleep through it. So we went back down to main reception where we were again treated even more rudely. Sharme, despite letting her know the issue, said to her colleague....oh they dont want to stay on level 5. Not true. I again explained. She told me they had never had complaints about the noise in that room. I said she should go listen for herself, rather than judge me. She declined and again said no rooms. I asked her to then book us in to the Marriott across the road. She said nothing. Then 2 minutes later handed me another room card with no words. We were such an inconvenience to her, when it was the hotels issue, not ours. Do better! I Will never go back, nor recommend it, It is old and dirty and loud. The catering/food service staff were awesome though.

This is our second stay here we are locals but needed a getaway, we went bar hopping and ended up back at the hotel bar. We had a great stay and talked to the night manager who was there the night of September 20th. He was very nice and gave us water for the room. By far our favorite hotel in the area!

The hotel was great. Dinner was great. Staff helpful. General Manager incredibly kind and helpful! So recommend this hotel.

Right in the heart of the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and spacious room. Beautiful view of the city from the room. A little bit noisy due to the location. Parking is problematic in the area. If you can find a spot on the street, it is free parking on the weekends. Overall I would highly recommend this location.

Very nice hotel. Food and food service workers were great. A couple homeless people outside asking for money. No restaurant brochures so a little hard finding places to eat. But great place overall.

Our stay at the Drury Inn downtown Cleveland was perfect. This hotel is about equidistant between The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Rocket Mortgage Arena. Just a 15 minute walk to each. Staff working the free breakfast and free dinner/cocktail service are exceptionally attentive and friendly. Elevators are efficient and our room was large! We will be back!

Perfect location for sporting events, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the discovery museum. With a family of 6, the included hot breakfast and hot dinner was a great benefit. We also had free evening drink cards, which we didn't use, but it was nice to have. Classy hotel vibes with large rooms. We were very pleased with our stay.

It is in a great location which makes most locations easily walkable.

Friendly, very helpful staff. Fantastic free breakfast, and the free evening snacks turned out to be a full dinner, which was a great surprise. The only downsides were no complimentary water for the in-room coffee, although you could use their water fountain. No safe in the room. Shower was slippery.

What a beautiful old hotel! Gorgeous architectural design inside with beautiful murals, wide hallways, tall ceilings in the rooms. The breakfast and dinner were great. Having a restaurant, The Teachers Lounge, on site was a plus!

Property provided both dinner (bbq sliders, Mac/cheese) and breakfast (eggs, waffles, sausage). Gave feeling of value for the money.

This hotel is amazing! They feed you dinner and breakfast, as well as give you drinks with your dinner, along with other amenities. I definitely will be looking for Drury’s to stay at moving forward.

They offer both free breakfast and a free dinner. Meals are decent. Breakfast is the same each day. Dinner changed menus which was nice. They also offer free alcohol drinks, up to 3 per day. This was a nice perk. The not so good, they didn't clean our room. We even went down and asked they clean our room. The front desk staff put notes in the computer and said it would be cleaned the next day. It wasn't. They did comp me one night stay for this which was good of them. But why not just have the room cleaned? Otherwise, it was a nice hotel and staff were very friendly.

The after hours food restaurant (Teachers Lounge) had very slow service. We were told 15 minutes for our pizza, and it took almost an hour and a half. They weren’t very helpful either other than saying sorry, we are busy. Also, once we received the pizza and made our way to our room, we opened the box to find an uncut pizza. We had to rip it apart to divide it up.
